Creature Sketches by Seleylone
Working on few things... Here's a bunch of sketches I made at, uh.... Some lectures... Yeah. It was definately my day for sketching, I've never felt so satisfied with pen drawings.
Apple a Day - wip1 by Seleylone
Hi, here's a project I'm working on in  my spare time. Keep in mind that it's only about 15% of the whole image. I cropped it on purpose, because showing the whole image would ruin the surprise I'm really curious what are your thoughts/assumptions/theories about this one.
Todd Lockwood’s amazing animations of dragons in flight. The red dragon is conventional - if any dragon can be considered conventional - but the gold dragon with that extraordinary wing and helix-ripple, not at all…
I’m sorry for lack of activity here. Got a project going on that needs some time from me to learn... Things.
Here’s the set of paintings I did for kemuri.pl. Hope you enjoy :)

Guild Wars 2 Juvenile Wyvern - another work in progress.
Added more details and highlights. Still not done, though :)
Ah, long time no update, eh?
Guild Wars 2 Juvenile Wyvern sketch.
I’m getting excited with those new pets for rangers in upcoming expansion. Wyverns look a little bit derpy, but I love them :)
Wolf Warrior by Seleylone
Yeah, umm...
This is one of those “I have no idea what I’m doing“ sketches.
Ah, I’m sorry, I don’t have any recent artwork to post today, so I decided to throw some traditional stuff.
Here’s a... Creature of unknown origins (+ an unknown girl! Two in one! BUY TODAY!!). I made it few months earlier with a black pen. I wonder what I did with original A4 piece...

Wolf Warrior by Seleylone
... Added some colors and more details to armor and face. I also tweaked the lighting a little.
It was a fun project - the technique with lineart and flat colors really helped me to maintain main shapes of silthoulette. The painting was definately faster - I had a clear guideline what to do in here.
Wolf Warrior WIP
Well, It’s almost done. I just need to slap some colors.
I was working on the character’s rendering for too long, so I decided to switch to background, flip the canvas... And that’s what I saw.
If you study my previous post, you’ll see it there too.
My own lineart is trolling me.
Yesterday I was wondering all day what should I do... Today.
After digging through recently made sketches IÂ realized there was one that I wanted to make into full illustration (it was posted here not too long ago).
I took the opportunity to learn a different workflow - starting with lineart and making flat colors as a fundament for painting. I’m presenting here the basic divide between character, ground and sky, but I’m further into the painting and had already divided seperate pieces on character’s body - material, armor, skin and such.
It took me a while but if I find that technique better - I’ll try to speed up that process.
Sorry for the quality. The original .psd file got corrupted and I had to work on jpgs I had saved.
It looked funnier in game, but I still wanted to make something that would remind me of it :)
If you like my artwork, go ahead and check out some other GW2 related artworks! Â First comic: http://seleylone.tumblr.com/post/128259490025/gw2-comic-i-guess-quick-drawing-i-will-catch

“Morrigan’s Pet” by Seleylone
Mixed media this time. I dod a drawing of a creature that seems to be related to crows. Fixed some other things and here’s the result.
GW2
Sorry guys, no art today. I had some struggles with a commission I’m working on, so it took me more time than I expected. I’m still working on that comic I told you yesterday. I will finish it, though.
So... What happens when I have no art to show? Yes yes, that’s right - I write some things about games! Ah, You all know me too well! Aaaand since I’m playing Guild Wars 2.... Yep, you’ve guessed again!
You know, I haven’t played too much MMORPGs in my life. I’m the kind of person that likes to 100% every RPG, so GW2 is quite a nice challenge!
The maps, oh, the glorious maps! This was actually the first time I felt relaxed exploring the new places. The devs and all artist involved did a magnificent job in making those breathtaking views and hiding some secrets too! So far I’ve finished 100% Lion’s Arch (Large town for players to hang around and do their crafting... And stuff...). It was difficult, but I felt so good about it, really! I’ve also found a nice little dungeon that gave me tons of fun (Those who finished the Lion’s Arch know what I’m talking about)!
There’s also other things to collect - armor/weapon skins, dyes, maybe recipes...
If you’re a hunter, then you have to catch some pets, of course!
Gosh, I still feel new to this game. So many things, so little time!
