So the subject for the Character Design Challenge on facebook this month is “Egyptian Gods” I’ve never uploaded something in there (and I probably won’t submit this one) but I realy like the subject so I gave it a go :3

A solar goddess and fierce warrior, she is depicted as a lioness and seen as protector of the Pharaohs, leading them in battle.

I took this today and i REALLY like it wow, it’s so simple and bland but i appreciate that a lot

“maybe I belong among the stars”

I tried to pin down what it feels like when i used to go through Depersonalization episodes as a kid…and in my twenties. You can even go back in super old journals where I’m talking about it- feelings of being dead, feelings like being unattached to life, and feelings of being outside of everything else, like a passenger in my own life. It’s hard to describe accurately, it’s sorta a mix of a low volt electrocution and trailing a split second behind life attached to a short stringed balloon Anyways, as i’ve gotten a bit older, it’s faded out more, but I definitely still have some instances from time to time. They’re not so much like “WELP IM DED” like it was at 20, it’s more “oh, welp, alright then” Makes for an interesting sketch, either way. I don’t think i nailed it, but at least it’d make a rad t-shirt.
