               “  A cute Sapphire like you hanging around ?  I definitely wouldn’t complain about that !!  ”

“You’re the cute one! Those eyes are some of the most beautiful I’ve seen and your hair is just lovely. I could comb my fingers through that mane all day if you let me.”

               “  Hey, you come here often ?  ”

“No not really but if you’re here maybe I should.”

     She couldn’t do this——she couldn’t go on like this, living her life with the knowledge that SHE was no longer alive. Ever since she got those memories back, memories of HER, every little thing on Homeworld reminded her of their time together, & so she fled to Earth. She thought it would make her feel better. She was wrong.

A gentle hand was placed on the sapphire’s shoulder. Cupid had been around when green and her ruby were together. Her vision of love saw what was going to come to pass but she remained loyal and never said anything. Hoping she was wrong. She wasn’t and it wrecked her with guilt. “Green. I’m here for you. You can talk about it. Losing your loved one. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.”

               “  Oh yes, QUITE beautiful. Are days ALWAYS like this here on Earth ?  ”

“Not always. Earth is always changing. Sometimes the sky is grey with clouds and water falls from the sky in droplets. This is called rain. Sometimes the sun shines bright like today. Oh and when it gets cold the rain will freeze. White cascading onto the land. This is called snow. You can expect many wonderful days in each of these elements.”

     She was laying in the grass HUMMING to herself, simply enjoying the beautiful breeze & sky Earth had to offer.

The pink sapphire was gazing off into the distance of the fields when she noticed her. “Beautiful day isn’t it?”
