This is been on my mind for a while now.

We know Joka (King's mother) know him, and they likely worked together and got involved with the underground's bladers. Ginro still fights as a shadow blader after all and Joka was a great blader, even stronger than Queen before she got sick, it's even implied at some point that she still have a great influence on the Underground.

Now let's talk about King for a moment:

He resembles his granma just for the eyes, plus Queen doesn't have strong Lions traits like the rest of the family.

King is very different from his little simblings, who takes after their father and the great grandmother.

Also it's said that he's peculiar, cuz the strongher bladers in his family are usally women and he is a LONE LION.

Manju's family is a very close-knit family, yet King and Queen are the only two members who lives on their own.

King has a strong sense af leadership, and a great drive towards fights. Quite the opposite of his father, wich is pictured as a peaceful male lion who lives the hunt to lionesses.

Now, Ginro:

Why does a man who lives under a bridge decided to raise a child?

Also he usally strongly oppose when someone try to rely on him for anything.

It's hard for me to belive he just "adopted" Ekusu on a whim.

Soooo, my theory is:

Joka and Ginro had history, but she left when se was pregnant and get back to her family house. Eventually got married to her husband later on and raised King with him.

Ginro left alone finds Ekusu and kinda sees his son in him, beeing about the same age as him. And decided to keep him.

I don't know, maybe it's silly.
