You look at yourself in the mirror and smile at your reflection for the first time in several months. Because when you put it on, it will remind you of the warm embrace of an old friend whom you have not seen for a very long time. And then you go outside. The crunch of orange, yellow, red, and brown leaves under your feet drowns out the last clash of waves you heard on the ocean. Everything around is comforting and warm, despite the cool air around. The sun is setting earlier and earlier, but you welcome the darkness like an old friend
