It was fortunate Gregory cared so little about it, if it was true there were unsalvageable parts he wouldn’t mind. Still he remained, letting his eyes shut a moment as the girl when to work.

When the question followed, they opened. He blinked, momentarily confused before seeming to realize what she was referring to. Oh, that.

“Stuff.. and things, they just happen sometimes.”

“   it’s   not   complicated ,   exactly ,   it   just  …   you   know   what -   don’t   worry   about   it .   i’m   just   gonna   cut   out   the   worst   of   these   knots ,   and   brush   out   the   rest .   i’ll   try   not   to   pull   too   hard  …   ”

glitch   furrows   her   brow ,   fiddling   with   gregory’s   tangled   hair .   the   blood   fuses   his   unkempt   locks   and   sticks   them   together   unpleasantly …   chewing   her   lip ,   the   little   abomination   snips   the   matting   away ,   and   begins   tugging   the   teeth   of   a   comb   through   what   remains   to   begin   salvaging   this   situation .

He grumbles faintly, ultimately leaving the girl to proceed as she saw fit. The mention of pulling made him tense faintly, bracing for the tugging despite her promises. Save for the occasional wince here and there, he sat through the brushing without fuss.

Gregory shrugged faintly, rolling his eyes at the suggestion. "Be more careful" wow, that's one he's never thought of before.
