HP Meme | Four Otps [2/4] ↳ Bill & Fleur
Harry felt Ginny move beside him and looked at her. Her slightly narrowed eyes were fixed upon Fleur, who was gazing down at Bill with a frozen expression on her face.
‘Dumbledore gone,’ whispered Mr Weasley, but Mrs Weasley had eyes only for her eldest son; she began to sob, tears falling on to Bill’s mutilated face.
‘Of course, it doesn’t matter how he looks…it’s not r-really important…but he was a very handsome little b-boy…always very handsome…and he was g-going to be married!’
And what do you mean by zat?’ said Fleur suddenly and loudly. 'What do you mean, 'e was going to be married?’
Mrs Weasley raised her tear-stained face, looking started.
'Well - only that -’
'You theenk Bill will not wish to marry me any more?’ demanded Fleur. 'You theenk, because of these bites, he will not love me?’
'No, that’s not what I-’
'Because 'e will!’ said Fleur, drawing herself up to her full height and throwing back her long mane of silver hair. 'It would take more zan a werewolf to stop Bill loving me!’
'Well, yes, I’m sure,’ said Mrs Weasley, 'but I thought perhaps - given how - he he-’
'You though I would not weesh to marry him? Or per'aps, you 'oped?’ said Fleur, her nostrils flaring. 'What do I care how 'e looks? I am good looking enough for the both of us, I theenk! All these scars show zat my husband is brave! And I shall do zat!’ she added fiercely, pushing Mrs Weasley aside and snatching the ointment from her.
Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry
Draco Malfoy’s Snake
Harry Potter found a snake on his way out of Hagrid’s hut.
He’d just shut the door behind him when he felt something move against his ankle. He jumped back and glanced down at the ground.
It was an emerald green serpent, with shiny scales and a perfectly pointed tail.
Harry crouched down and tentatively ran a finger against its slimy back. “Hello,” he spoke to it.
The snake seemed to have tilted its head to the side. “Hello.”
“Where’s your owner?” Harry asked.
“I left him somewhere behind those trees over there,” it hissed.
Harry frowned, the snake was implying that its owner was somewhere in the Forbidden Forest.
“What is your owner’s name?”
“Potter.”
Harry’s head shot up sharply and he quickly got to his feet. “Malfoy.”
Draco stood in front of him, a hand lazily tucked into his pockets. “You couldn’t find me so you decided to pester my pet instead?”
Harry clenched his fists. “Why were you in the Forest?”
Draco raised his eyebrows. “I wasn’t.”
“Liar.”
Draco took a step towards Harry. “You don’t know what you’re on about.”
“I talked to your snake, Malfoy. It told me you were in there.”
“She,” Draco corrected.
“So you’re not denying it?”
Draco tsked. “You don’t have any proof. Besides, it’s not like you’ve never been in there before.”
“I was there against my will.”
“I find that hard to believe.”
Harry tightened his jaw. “You shouldn’t go in there. It’s dangerous.”
“Why do you care?” Draco spat.
Harry frowned. “Do you want to get hurt?”
“Maybe.”
Harry watched as Draco crouched down and let his snake climb up his arm and wrap herself around his biceps.
“Goodbye,” the snake said to Harry.
“Bye.”
Draco glanced down at his snake, a look of disapproval evident on his face. “What are you telling her?”
Harry took a step back. “She was just saying goodbye and I responded. I’ll see you around, Malfoy.”
“Sadly so.”
Harry turned away from the blonde boy and his green snake, and continued on his way up to the castle.
Draco stared after him, rubbing a thumb over his snake’s head as he did.
-
“Where’s Draco?”
Harry had found Draco’s snake again, this time he was slithering around on a window ledge in one of Hogwarts’ many halls.
“He went to the library.”
“Would you like me to take you to him?”
“Yes, please,” she hissed, gingerly climbing onto Harry’s outstretched arm. He felt her tightly wrap herself around his wrist.
Harry made simple conversation with the snake. He found that Draco had named her Imperia, had gotten her for his birthday, and that she liked to move around the Slytherin common room when everyone else was asleep.
They’d reached the library, and Harry quietly made his away around the shelves, looking for Draco.
“Malfoy,” he said when he found a pale skinned boy bent over a few pieces of parchment paper laid out on a desk.
Draco twisted around in his seat, and his eyes instantly found his snake. “You found her again.”
“She’s kind of hard not to notice.”
Draco stood from his seat and walked over to Harry, carefully unwrapping Imperia. “She likes exploring the castle on her own.”
Harry breathed out a short laugh. “I can tell.”
Draco glanced at him.
Harry’s smile disappeared off his face. “I’d better get going.”
Draco nodded stiffly.
Harry didn’t move.
“I was working on my Potions essay,” Draco said, and Harry’s eyes followed Imperia’s green scales as she climbed up to her owner’s shoulder and settled there.
“I haven’t started on mine yet,” Harry confessed.
Draco said nothing. He was no longer looking Harry in the eye, choosing instead to focus his attention on Harry’s dark hair. “Your hair is horrid.”
“You can’t hold one civil conversation, can you?”
Draco shrugged. “It’s just you, really.”
“Because you hate me,” Harry stated.
“You’re not as dumb as I’d thought.”
“Well, it is common knowledge.”
Draco hummed in agreement, caressing his snake subconsciously.
“I’d better get going,” Harry said. “Goodbye, Imperia.”
Draco heard his snake hiss back, and felt a pang of envy hit his chest. He wished he could talk to his own pet, but Potter seemed to have everything Draco wanted and he hated it.
“Potter.” Draco smirked, but his heart wasn’t in it.
Harry watched him, his green eyes roaming over Draco’s sharp facial features. “Why do you do that?”
Draco wanted to blink, wanted to frown, but he managed to keep his expression as neutral as he normally did. “What?”
“That. You just purposely make me want to hate you and I…Forget it. I don’t know why I’m-”
“Then don’t,” Draco said, cooly, because he didn’t know what else to say.
Harry sighed, running his fingers through his hair.
Draco watched, transfixed by Harry’s curls and how easily they fell back in their unruly place as soon as Harry let go.
“I’m going to stay here,” Harry said, “work on my essay.”
Harry walked past Draco and slid into the seat beside him, pulling out his writing equipment.
Draco turned around and went back to his own desk. “Why here?”
“Shh, I need to focus.”
Draco parted his lips, but decided against it. Again, he watched Harry. He watched him scratch the point of his quill against paper, watched him fill up the page.
Harry lifted his head and arched his back, stretching.
Draco quickly looked away and turned to his own work, but found he could no longer concentrate like he had before Harry blimming Potter showed up.
-
“We can’t keep meeting like this, Potter. People will start thinking we’re friends.”
“I assure you, that there are things much worse than people assuming we like each other.”
Draco wrinkled his nose, taking Imperia from Harry’s arm. “Liking each other? I never said anything about that.”
“That’s what friends do, Draco. They like each other. It’s the whole point of being in a friendship.”
He tilted his nose up, as if the idea of liking anyone was beneath him, beneath any Malfoy.
This time, Harry had found Imperia near the dining hall, long after dinner. Draco was just around the corner when they found him.
“Whatever you say, Potter.”
Harry wanted to slap him.
Sure, he hated Draco, despised him even, but he was bored. He was bored of the whole act. He wanted to get over it because…Just because.
“Malfoy, wait,” Harry called out after Draco took a few steps away from him.
“What?”
“Walk with me?”
Draco raised one, single eyebrow. “Scared, Potter?”
Harry shivered. He’d heard Draco say that line before but he couldn’t remember when.
“No,” Harry replied. “I want to talk.”
“Talk?”
“I believe that’s what I said.”
Draco narrowed his eyes at Harry, but took a few steps towards him anyway.
Harry’s breath caught.
“Talk, then,” Draco said, towering a few inches over Harry.
“Not here,” Harry blurted out. “C’mon.”
Draco made a show of reluctance as he followed Harry by his side.
“Where are you taking me?”
Harry bit his tongue, swallowing harshly, because he could suddenly feel Draco next to him. “I don’t know yet.”
Draco smirked. “Lost?”
They’d been walking for a while by then.
“No.”
“Right. The Chosen One doesn’t get lost.”
“Don’t call me that,” Harry bit.
Draco tilted his head. “Why not?”
“I just don’t like it,” he said, tugging at the loose strings on his robes.
“Of course.”
Harry turned to him. “What is that supposed to mean?”
Draco smirked again, and Harry just wanted to get rid of it. Somehow.
“You pretend like you don’t like it, just like everything else. Like you’re humble. As if you don’t like the attention.”
“I don’t,” Harry snapped. “Why would I like it?”
“Potter, everyone knows who you are.”
They stopped walking at some tight, dimly lit corridor. “And that sounds appealing to you?”
“Yes, frankly, it does.”
Harry shook his head. “It’s not like I did anything. People know me because while my parents lay dead in our home, I stayed alive. You’d like that, Malfoy? If you grew up knowing that you would never see your parents again? Questioning yourself? Wondering why they left you. Why you couldn’t have gone with them.”
He pushed a hand against Draco’s chest, who’d quickly taken a step back.
“What, changed your mind?” Harry seethed, taking another step towards Draco.
Draco’s back hit the wall behind him. He had nothing to say.
Harry’s face was inches away from his. Centimeters. “I thought so.”
Draco felt Harry’s warm breath hit his skin and he shivered involuntarily.
Harry frowned. “Why won’t you say something?”
Draco swallowed. “I won’t use that name anymore.”
Harry’s shoulders relaxed, but he was still frowning.
Draco noticed with a sudden jolt that Harry was staring at him. His eyes were on his lips. Draco’s lips.
He sucked in a breath.
What was he doing?
Draco’s eyes fell to Harry’s own lips.
He’d looked at them before. He’d envied how smooth they always looked, how incredibly pink they were.
They were paler now, and Draco didn’t know why.
He wanted to lean in anyway. He wanted to feel Harry’s lips anyway, because why the fuck not?
“Malfoy,” Harry whispered. “You’re staring at my lips.”
“I know.”
“Why?”
“I don’t know, Potter. Do you want me to…?”
“No, I…I want to do it.”
Draco swallowed, licking his lips. “Okay.”
Harry’s eyes were hooded.
He moved closer towards Draco, pressed his knee between his long, slender legs.
Draco bit his lip, trying his best not to give in. Not this quick. No, he’d spent too many years…
“Draco,” Harry said.
“What?”
“I wanted to test it out.”
“Oh.”
Harry looked away. “Kiss me, Draco.”
“I thought-”
“I changed my mind. I don’t know what I was-mph.”
Draco’s lips collided with Harry’s harshly, his fingers instantly finding his mop of curly hair.
Harry moaned against his lips, pressing Draco harder against the wall.
Their lips parted, and ever so slowly, their tongues met.
And they were full on snogging.
Draco’s head would not stop spinning.
He was snogging Harry Potter.
“Fuck.”
“Harry…more…”
He was snogging Harry Potter and he was enjoying it. Hell, he was literally begging for more.
Harry slid a hand beneath Draco’s shirt.
“Harry, stop. Not here.”
“You’re supposed to be the Slytherin here.”
“Shut up.”
Draco pulled him in for another kiss, this time making sure to nip harder at Harry’s bruising lips. This time, he let Harry’s fingers press against the skin underneath his shirt.

Imagine the look Draco gives you when you meet at the train returning from your summer vacation. He would stand still for a moment, looking at you but then he wouldn’t be able to hold back a smile anymore and pull you into a warm hug. “Hey there, little one. I missed you”
