I make it a point to raid charity shops wherever I travel, which yielded a metric shitton of discs from Newport* - in St. David's Hospice Care alone I bought enough CDs and cassettes to make the poor volunteer lose count twice.**
Moreton-in-Marsh has no wi-fi, mobile phone service, and slim pickings when it comes to charity shop CDs (Acorns Children's Hospice had a single shelf of classical music, and Helen & Douglas House didn't have ANY) but what it lacked in quanity it more than made up for in quality.

The month was November 2000, and Select magazine had a lot of rare shiny tracks they were very excited about - all but the unpretentious Kathryn Williams, Trail of Dead and Slipknot are either "rare" or "exclusive". I will however allow Select this bit of utter wankery, because the whole tracklist slays.
