Damn, I can’t find a gif that totally shows it, but yes, yes she did. There was hair pulling and scraping of nails against napes of necks. But also, look at him. He is trying to devour her whole. So yeah, it was kind of a super intense kiss for both of them for so many reasons.

Thinking about how Talbot never got the chance to be unprogrammed like they were, about how attached he already was to Coulson. Thinking about how he and Coulson would've been almost literally attached at the hip if he'd had the chance to be unprogrammed, if he hadn't infused himself with the Gravitonium and gone insane trying to fix his mistakes.

This was me when I realized that, according to the MCU Timeline, Agents of SHIELD season 2 ep 3 (the Donnie Gill / Hydra episode) happened on September 26th, 2014 and the next episode happens on JANUARY 12th, 2015?!?! I've been re-writing season two with a Ward redemption arc and following along the episodes as my guide and now there's a big huge gap?!

Steve tightens his shield, glaring at Thanos, ready to get back into the fight, when suddenly his comm link crackles to life.
Steve shakes his head, not believing what he's hearing. Suddenly, the link is clear as day.
"On your left."
He turns to see a portal, and out walks the king of Wakanda and in flies Sam Wilson. More portals appear, and everyone has come back. Stephen Strange walks out of the final portal and Wong quickly finds him.
"Is that everyone?" Strange asks
"What, you wanted more?!" Wong says indignantly.
As Scott Lang crashes through the rubble, releasing Rocket Raccoon, Smart Hulk, and Rhodey, Steves comm link crackles to life once again.
"I was sad to see we didn't get an invite. Mind if we crash the party?"
Captain America's eyes widen. That voice belonged to a dead man. He raises his hand up to the comm. "Coulson?"
"Yeah, and some friends."
Suddenly the ground starts to shake, and a woman seems to levitate safely to the ground. "It's clear here, AC." She says through the comm. A loud whirring is heard from above, and a helicarrier descends on the battleground.
"You didn't think we'd miss this did you Cap?" Coulson said, climbing down from the helicarrier.
"Truth be told I think we all thought you were dead."
"I knew he was still alive." Tony said
"Let's cut the chit-chat, we've got half a universe to save." Agent Mackenzie says gruffly.
"Avengers! Assemble."

Writing is a process that often undergoes heavy edits… that includes responding to feedback.
I had no idea this post would resonate with so many people. I let my vitriol surrounding several comments I received on a recent update get to me and it spilled out into .gif form and it’s now morphed into the most widely shared thing I’ve ever posted. So many comments and tags have said things along the lines of, “This was why I quit writing” or “This is why I hate writing fanfic.” And that’s soul crushing to hear, but I can relate.
But while there are some crappy and entitled readers, there are also many brilliant ones and I’m so grateful for them. The huge response to this post made me go back and skim through the comments on my old stories, and comments like the one below are about half the reason some of those stories got finished, even if it was months later.
Comments like these are so rare, but when they do come up, they leave me staring at my computer screen, drumming my fingers on the keyboard, struggling to convey my feelings about how their words have touched my heart. These are the comments that take the longest amount of time to respond to and the ones that cause me to wear out my backspace key the fastest.
It’s easy to complain, but it’s literally just as easy to praise, so I just wanted to take a moment to recognize all those dear and dedicated readers who have propped me up when I wanted to quit. Readers like you are why I keep writing, and why I even feel honored to do it on rare occasion.
And fellow writers, keep your heads up if you can. :)
The first type of comment breaks my heart, both as a writer and a reader. It’s why I’ve been tempted to quit a few times, in the rare moment when I’ve gotten them.
The second type is seriously the best and I try to leave comments, even short positive ones, for almost every fic I read and enjoy.
Grant Ward was not a monster by birth, but a monster born of abuse and maltreatment. Anyone Grant ever tried to get close to only ever used or abused him. Christian. Garrett. Every single member of the original team.
Anything past s1 wouldn't of had happened if someone would've extended a helping hand towards Grant after Garrett's death. Grant deserved love and peace, not abuse and hatred.
