The Calm Before The Storm

“My dad hasn’t spoken to me in awhile. Last I heard, he was drunk somewhere in a casino.” Ezekiel shrugged. “He must have fallen apart since Micah was taken away.” he admitted. “Rent me all you want.” he stood and scooped up his fox pup. 

“Yeah well he isn’t the only one.” David mumbled, sending the text to Killian and opening the cell door for the Barton boy. “My place isn’t big but you can stay in what I have unpacked in the spare room. The Telly just needs to be set up and you can watch cable or something.” David shrugged.

“Your guess is as good as mine.” Ezekiel sighed, not having it in him to express his dislike for David. It wasn’t going to bring his brother back, and it wasn’t going to fix this situation either. “They just threw me in here. I don’t know anything.”

“Pick up your fox and come on I am going to get you out of a cell for eight hours and I will find out what happened.” David insisted, pulling his phone out with his good hand. “You don’t even need to come with me, you could go to your fathers place.” The man shrugged, well aware of the dislike Ezekiel had for him.

Ezekiel had put up a fight before winding up in the cells. No one told him what happened, he was just picked up and told he was being returned. His initial instinct was either something happened to Levi or his lover didn’t want him anymore. The guards tried to drag him off and he fought every step of the way until he was finally hit really hard on the head to be knocked out. 

Finally he woke up, rubbing his pounding head. Luckily, his little fennec fox was still allowed and he loyally stayed by his side. 

“Nngh, my head is killing me.” 

David was doing his daily rounds, seeing if Michael was returned to the island. It was the only time he would leave the walls of his new villa, however a look of shock came over the man seeing not his love but his brother in the cell. “Ezekiel? Why are you in a cell?” David asked in confusion. 

“Sounds kinky, I like it. I think I might do that. I wonder what would happen if I got some hell inside my heaven.” 

“Then go do that and leave me be.”

“Well, I’ve been told my ass is basically heaven for dicks around here. Don’t you wanna get inside my heaven?” 

“I’m good, perhaps go tempt some of the Demons. I am sure they would love to fill your heaven with their darkness.”
