Believe it or not, I actually wasn’t about to give you one. I was simply saying that it wasn’t your fault we didn’t win.

I wouldn’t say that’s necessarily true, but it seems kind of ridiculous to pin a loss on just one person. Then why is everyone blaming you? 

Of course, Sebastian Smythe is the only person in the glee club who isn’t a loser.

It’s not. but it’s not totally anyone else’s fault either. And that’s exactly what I was saying but third is in the top three. It’s still an accomplishment. But need I remind you that you’re one of those ‘losers’ as well?

Hm, that’s not entirely true, at least not from what I remember. You always seemed very...cheery in my presence at Noah’s place.

There’s no one to blame for us placing third, and even if there was, you aren’t the only one who is totally innocent in this. Besides, placing third is miles better than placing twelfth. I’d obviously rather get first place but third is better than nothing. We were in the top three so it’s still an achievement.

It’s totally not my fault. And yeah, third place fucking sucks, and not in a good way, but at least we weren’t very last. Then again, you can only get so far with all the losers that are in this club.
