If a trans woman tells you her pronouns are she/her, it's inappropriate and offensive to call her "they." If a trans man tells you his pronouns are he/him, it's inappropriate and offensive to call him "they." If a trans person tells you its pronouns are it/its, it's inappropriate and offensive to call it "they." Same for users of neopronouns.

Using they/them for others is only appropriate if you don't know their pronouns or if you know that they use they/them. If you know someone uses other pronouns, they/them pronouns can misgender/degender that person.

the unjustified hatred i see for furries, therians, otherkin, endogenic systems, willogenic system, a-spec individuals, those who are alove, xenogenders, neopronouns, is just... it's awful.

Alterhumans are valid.

Systems of any origin are valid.

A-specs are valid.

Xenogenders are valid.

Neopronouns are valid.

If you don't understand it, that's fine. Either try and understand it or just move on. If isn't hurting anyone... so what?
