Hi! I'm Dylan, I'm nonbinary/genderqueer/agender/genderless/gendervoid, and my pronouns are they/them. I'm not transfem or transmasc, I'm transneutral/transnull, and my ASAB/AGAB is nobody's business. I'm also intersex, pansexual (primarily t4t), polyamorous and very in love with my girlfriend!
I'm in my 30's, and I've been out as trans for 20 years. Trans solidarity and trans unity are incredibly important to me. Trans women and trans men and other nonbinary people are my comrades, friends, family, lovers, teachers, and neighbors. I may not personally like every single trans person, but I will fight for all of our right to gender liberation and self-determination.
I'm fine with minors following my blog and interacting with my posts and sending asks, but please do not privately message me unless you are 18 or older.
Cis allies are welcome to follow/reblog my posts, I just ask that you be respectful when engaging.
I'm Jewish. Antisemites are not welcome here. I support peace as a universal principle and all I want is a world where every child goes to bed in peaceful safety and wakes up unharmed to a life in which all their needs are met and opportunities await them (I want this for adults as well, human life matters at all ages). I click daily to help the people of Palestine through a verified UN agency, and you can too! [click here to redirect to Arab.org]
If you don't understand something in a post I've made or reblogged, you are welcome to send a (respectful) ask for help understanding the meaning or perspective of a post.
An incomplete list of some of my core beliefs below cut. If these views offend you, this might not be a blog you want to follow.
I support:
✅️Trans people whether or not they experience dysphoria, and whether or not they want to (or can) medically transition
✅️Multigender and genderfluid people
✅️Users of neopronouns and it/its pronouns
✅️People who detransition without becoming transphobic
✅️Intersex people, whether they are trans, cis, or identify outside of the cis/trans binary
✅️People on the asexual and/or aromantic spectrums
✅️Good-faith queer identities even if they are "contradictory"
✅️Intersectional trans-inclusive feminism
✅️Sex workers and decriminalization
✅️Kinks shared between risk-aware consenting people of peer age (i.e. between adults, or between minors of peer age)
✅️Body positivity (or neutrality for those who prefer that framework). Body traits should not be stigmatized or mocked, even if the person in question is awful. Insulting the body traits of awful people also insults people who aren't awful with those traits. Awful people should be criticized for the reasons they are awful, not for body traits. That includes not mocking weight, or penis size, or wrinkles, or gray hair, or teeth, or body hair, etc.
✅️Fiction as a safe way to explore themes and ideas, including things that would be terrible in real life, like unhealthy pairings or violence or abuse etc.
I oppose:
❌️Transmisogyny, exorsexism, anti-transmasculinity, and intersexism
❌️Bioessentialism and gender-essentialism
❌️TERFs, SWERFS, and all other radfems
❌️JKR and remaining an active fan of her work after learning about her violent transphobia. Supporting her work supports her transphobic attacks on trans people's rights because she uses the money and fame it brings her to lobby against trans rights.
❌️Transmedicalism/"truscum" ideology
❌️People who become transphobic when they detransition
❌️"Radqueer" ideology and harmful "transIDs"
❌️Racism, antisemitism, anti-Romani bigotry
❌️Bigotry in general
❌️ICE and all other fascists
❌️Censorship of fiction, including fiction that explores themes of harm and unhealthy pairings. Fictional characters are like toys we play with, and fiction is safe tool for exploring scenarios that would be terrible in real life, because it's pretend.

I just think every trans person who has come out as an adult needs to spend more time thinking about the experiences of people who came out as trans as youths and the ways in which trans youths are subjected to gendered violence for trying to come out in ways that trans adults literally never are because children and youths are treated like property.
I agree that the community needs to pay attention to the struggles of kids who come out as trans (like me, I came out as a young teen). It's so important!
But I do want to point out that it's not quite accurate to say adults who come out are literally never treated the same way, because many disabled adults are likewise treated as property without autonomous rights. There are disabled trans adults who can't transition because their caregiver(s) who are in charge of their medical decisions don't think the disabled adult is capable of actually knowing their own gender. I've worked with several people like this in my job.
Trans youth and disabled adults deserve dignity and autonomy!
i thimk trans women and trans men and nonbinary people and everyone whos not cis should all love eachother forever and embrace eachother and listen to eachother and protect eachother. we should all be eachothers' shield
"nonbinary people are included in every orientation" doesn't mean "all nonbinary people are included in all orientations", it means "there are nonbinary people who feel comfortable being included in different orientations". i for one am not included in your straightness, lesbianism or gay male attraction because i'm not male or female lite. i'm not included in anything associated with or centred around binary gender.
when you use it to mean "all nonbinary people are included in all orientations" you ARE erasing nonbinary people by basically saying we are whatever gender fits someone's orientation, rather than someone's orientation maybe being different than previously thought or simply having exceptions.
there are nonbinary ppl who feel included in all orientations. there are nonbinary ppl who feel included only in queer orientations. there are nonbinary ppl who feel included only in orientations that are associated with loving women. there are nonbinary ppl who feel included only in orientations associated with loving men. there are nonbinary ppl who only feel included in multi-gender attraction. there are nonbinary ppl who only feel included in orientations that explicitly include us. there are nonbinary people who only feel included in lesbian, straight or gay attraction from other transgender and nonbinary people. there are nonbinary people who decide on a case by case basis.
LET US HAVE NUANCE. stop flattening us into whatever fits your narrative. we're not a blank slate you can just project things on.
if you're straight and attracted to me, you're either not as straight as you think or i'm the exception to your straightness (like for my partner), but i am NEVER included unless you view me as basically a woman or basically a man. the same is true for gay men and lesbians for me.
i get to decide what includes me and what doesn't.
I think it should be considered a form of degendering to try to divorce trans people from their gendered histories. My gender doesn't make sense without the fact that I was a little boy, or something like it, before I was a girl and a woman. If you were always a girl, thats awesome, but a lot of people project their dysphoria onto me when I try to talk about my own fucking life. If you think talking about having been a boy makes me less of a woman, that is degendering.

I've seen people say "not medically transitioning is already accepted" and while I do think that as a trans person who does not desire medical transition I have privilege in the form of not needing medical care that is viciously gatekept and under threat of being fully restricted - I think that if you really think that a non medically transitioning trans person is really actually a widely acceptable thing you must live in an alternate dimension, or are purposefuly being stupid
the "acceptance" in my experience usually boils down to "I'm so glad that you stayed a female man/male woman instead of attempting to change your sex" which is just transphobia aimed at both parties of trans people and a good fucking deal of people are not going to even have that faux acceptance
there is no form of transness that is truly widely accepted, once again I wonder how many people think that non medically transitioning trans people are just basically cis people
trans + doesn't need medical transition: not allowed to be seen as trans
trans + needs medical transition: not allowed to have the healthcare
it's almost like the only acceptable trans person is one whose trans identity isn't actually real and who doesn't need transition healthcare. so... a cis person.
hey. i think everything that happens affects all of us actually. and that goes for the good and the bad.
when something bad happens to my transfem and trans woman sisters, i’m livid.
when something bad happens to my transmasc and trans man brothers, i’m fuming.
when something bad happens to my nonbinary siblings, i’m furious.
when something bad happens to my intersex siblings, i’m enraged.
when something bad happens to my gender non-conforming siblings, i’m seeing red.
because when one of us loses, we are all losing. none of us win when trans women are demonized in the media. none of us win when trans men are erased from history. none of us win when nonbinary people are brushed off and othered. none of us win when intersex people are excluded until it’s convenient. none of us win when gender non-conforming people, of any kind, are mocked.
but when my transfem and trans woman sisters are smiling, i’m smiling right with them.
when my transmasc and trans man brothers are laughing, i’m laughing right with them.
when my nonbinary siblings are living, i’m living right with them.
when my intersex siblings are excited, i’m excited right with them.
when my gender non-conforming siblings are happy, i’m happy right with them.
i’m happy, because a win for them is a win for me, and you, and all of us. and we desperately need some wins right now.
I love trans women, trans men, trans neutrals, non binaries, agenders, genderfluids, bigenders, genderqueers, it/its users, neo pronouns, transfems, transmascs, transfemmemascs, intersex people, , gnc people

As a genderqueer woman who was AFAB, I will always feel safer sharing gendered spaces with trans women than with TERFs/transphobes. I have never once in my life seen a trans woman do anything inappropriate in a gendered space, but I've lost track of how many times I've been harassed by TERFs/transphobes in those spaces because I'm GNC. One that especially stands out was the middle-aged woman in the bathroom at the grocery store who demanded I show her my genitals to "prove" I'm a woman. There is nothing feminist about gender policing.
Shout out to trans fems and trans women who feel ties of any kind to the mlm/gay community or identity! You deserve to be welcome in mlm/gay spaces if you choose AND to have your femininity, womanhood, and/or identity respected. Your complexity and wholeness in identity deserves respect and appreciation.
Today is a good day. A trans girl is trying on a skirt for the first time. She is growing out her hair and toying with a new name and asking her friends to try out she/her pronouns for her. It’s always a good day when the world gains a new trans girl. Remember this.

now some of you might be wondering why I, a very loudly transgender type of girl, might reblog transmasc joy posts. That is because I love seeing people happy and actualized :]
