I realized it’s almost been a year since my life exploded into a million pieces and I am really proud of how I have reassembled it into something way better.

It was fucking hard as hell, and I can’t even count how many times I wanted to give up, but I am here, I did it.

There’s a few “When I get married, divorce is not an option.” Posts going around. While the statement and sentiment is all well and good it got me thinking. No one is going to set out to get a divorce. No one is going to say “To have and to hold until we don’t feel like it anymore” at their wedding.

People change and things don’t always work out. You never know what shit life is going to throw at you. Now I’m not advocating divorce, I’m just saying cute text posts aren’t going to keep your potential marriage together. Work your shit out. Communicate honestly and openly with your partner. Do the best you can. Shit happens though. People grow apart sometimes. Unfortunately that’s life.
