Certainly! All that we ask is that you make it somehow apparent that your character has moved to Seaspear, so that it would make sense for yours and other characters to meet and interact! That is, of course, if you’re going to be using the same blog.

We’re also taking this time to give a sort of heads up:

With Weehawken starting up for this year’s round of camping fun, activity on this blog and AU may slow down temporarily, as many Seaspear mods will be taking part in the Weehawken AU.

Activity on this blog will resume as usual once it has ended, however!

Thank you for being patient and please continue to be as we try and get things settled and ready. 

This is an update regarding the chat sessions. A good update!

After tonight, the Seaspear chat will be freely accessible during any day of the week! By default, the setting will be at the beach.

Any day that isn’t Saturday. Saturday is still going to be the one day we have password protected chats, where we have specific settings every week. Just to keep it special!

It should also be noted that certain holidays and events will have password protected chat sessions. We’ll make a post about that in advance, though!

If you would like to have the chat made private with a password for an event you have in mind (character birthday, etc), let us know! We’ll work something out.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please speak up! We won’t bite! We want everyone to be comfortable and happy. 

If you see anyone in any chat session that shouldn’t be there (randoms), or behavior that makes you or others uncomfortable, let us know here and we’ll take care of it!

Let’s tackle your questions one at a time, shall we?

What are the requirements to join the AU?Have an OC (preferably of the variety that are/appear human!)Give that OC a Seaspear blogBe respectful of othersRemember that this AU is for fun! 

How do you join the AU?Make your chosen OC a Seaspear blog. That’s it, really! You should also message this blog with the URL, so that we may add your OC to the Resident List and follow their blog!

How do you “play”?Send other Seaspear blogs Asks as your character, talk to other Seaspear mods and organize an RP, post drawings of your character, etc.. It’s just like owning any other askblog, really! It’s not difficult, but it takes patience.

What if no one likes you?That’s not the attitude you should go into any AU with, silly! But really, who cares? Do what makes you happy with your OC! 

How do you get started?Make that OC a Seaspear blog! Tell us the URL, we’ll add it to the resident list.Make a starter post on the OC’s blog, preferably with a pic of your OC.Use the suitable tags provided here.Send asks!

Hello residents and mods! 

Now that the New Year has mellowed out and everyone’s gotten back into the swing of things, we’ll be rolling out our weekly tinychats again! ♥

We’ll post the link and password to the chat every Saturday evening, roughly at around 8pm CST. 

So there will be a new one, silly!

There could certainly be a dance studio in town!

We totally understand! 

While we encourage everyone that’s participating in Seaspear to interact with characters outside of the AU, we also encourage everyone to find a way to keep things geographically sound. 

And many of the blogs already do!

However, if they don’t, then you really don’t have to follow that particular blog or interact with them? That’s really the only solution we can offer!

☆ Comix Zone = A mighty fine comic shop. Game nights on weekends.

☆ GameHype = For all your video game needs

☆ GLEAM = An all natural and organic cosmetic store. Think LUSH.

☆ Kale Yeah! = Health bar. Fresh smoothies, salads, anything healthy. 

☆ Paws & Claws = Local pet store. Bigger than it looks. 

☆ Rick ‘N’ Roll = For everything music, from CD’s to instruments. 

☆ SNIPS = Hair salon and barber. Has amazing coupons.

☆ Spirits = A costume store that also specializes in supernatural items.

☆ Thanks a Latte Cafe = A coffee shop with a wonderful ocean view.

☆ The Sand Dollar = Nothing over a dollar here.

☆ Tuckin’ Roll = Delicious sushi and deli bar.

Please note! There is a second half of the map in the works! The university will be included on the second half, along with other locations to live and work. This should be plenty to get everyone started, though.

Seaspear is actually located on the East Coast. Apologies for not mentioning that sooner!

While we are not affiliated with South Stitch, we can’t exactly control what blogs a mod chooses to have their character interact with. However! We understand that there could be some confusion with this.

Oh! Don’t fret about those applications, we did away with them. Much too confusing. 8′)

Instead, if you want your character listed, all you gotta do is send an ask with their name and URL.
