As though it's completely irrelevant that the cop who killed her was male, and that he had a history of sexual harassment and assault. As though it would have been just as likely for a female police officer to kill her under the same circumstances. No, this is just a cop problem, with absolutely no connection to the broader issue of male violence against women! In fact, how dare you suggest that there's a problem with male violence at all! This is a 'people' issue, and it's a total coincidence that the vast majority of people committing all this violence happen to be male.
