- Snape is a part of the Potions, Dueling and Slug club. - Born to a witch mother who comes from the Prince family and to a muggle father. His father had left during his mother, Eileen, was pregnant with Severus. She loathed him for this and taught her son that muggles were no good. Sev didn't really believe this to be true, though the thought was always somewhere at the back of his mind, but how could he believe Eileen? She was not a good mother - she got drunk every night and her boyfriends mistreated her and Severus. That was until Severus came to Hogwarts and started hanging out with the purebloods, he started believing that maybe muggles and muggleborns were bad. Then he lost Lily, his dearest and only friend and now, Severus doesn't know what to believe anymore. - Severus finds it really hard to make friends and the thing is, he doesn't want to. He was perfectly happy with having just Lily until he started hanging out with the purists, though he wouldn't really consider them friends. - Seems very awkward and strange to most people. Deep down he is very emotional, but on the outside Severus shows nothing. This is his way of protecting himself - isolating himself from others and burying his feelings deep down inside of him. - Has unusual interests and can't find common topics with most of his classmates. - Quite intelligent - learns quickly, has excellent grades in most of his subjects, especially gifted in potions. - Cannot stand fickle, incostant or lazy people. He always pushes himself to the limit and tries his best, so he expects everybody else to do the same. - At the end, all Sev wants is to be loved but he doesn't know how to let people love or care about him as he tends to push everybody away.
