“State your name and the reason to why you’re bothering me?” Narcissa asked unamused of being disturbed in her rare moment of peace. “If it’s not at least a seven on the scale of importance then leave”

“Holy fuc--move! MOVE!” she said, spells flying over her head, dodging the brutal spells and the falling cement of the stair banisters.

“Could you be a little more quiet? Some of us are trying to study in here, in case you haven’t noticed.” 

“Wow. Someone looks like they had a worse night than I did. I’m impressed.”

“I don’t know what you mean, but this drink has nothing to do with me not figuring out who you are. I blame the mask.”

“Prefect rounds are the absolute worst, nothing fun about walking through empty corridors late at night when I’d much rather be sleeping.”

“Okay, so question.” Hugo said turning to the nearest person, not taking into account if he was interrupting them. “How do I put this mask thingy on, you know, for the ball, when I have my glasses on? It won’t stay on. Not to mention, it makes me look super weird.” 

Edgar carefully touched his nose - which he was positive was broken - and winced from the pain. He took of his jacket, curled it up in a ball and put it against his nose and mouth to stop the bleeding. Everything hurt and he needed to sit down, the last thing he needed now was somebody worrying because of him. “Look, I swear I’m fine! It’s nothing, really..”
