the only 2 gen x dudes that are servers at my work hate each other but they’re exactly the same and they say stuff to each other like “you should kill yourself” and “where’s your son” [that he lost custody of] and all the 22 year olds are like :o and I’m like *head in hands* can you stop scaring the children and go back to complaining about rap music

I can’t sleep because I’m so stressed about abortion stuff I can’t post about!!! But omg!!! Can I just say—why the fuck can’t big institutions play nice with grassroots orgs?

today this guy spilled an entire glass of water and I had to clean it up and he said he’d tip me “really well” and I was like it’s fine accidents happen and then later he made a big show of handing me a $10 bill on a $45 check and I wanted to be like sir...... this is a regular tip

i feel great distrust towards people who talk about how much emotional labor they provide for others all the time
