He looked intense at the computer screen, he sighed. " looks like we need to go down at the crime scene.."
“No problem, sir! We can take my patrol car!” He grinned, closing the file.
He hurried out the door… then came back to peek at his boss.
“Where is the crime scene?”
He stood up and put a file in front of him. " here, read it.." He went back to his desk and continued working. " I would explain the case to you in person, but i'm quite busy at the moment"
Gumshoe took the file and opened it, shuffling through a few of the papers.
“It’s all right, sir! I got it.” He scratched the back of his head, reading through the case summary.
He sat down behind his desk and started getting to work. Once in a while he looked up from the computer, to make sure Gumshoe was in fact working.
“Uh… Mr. Edgeworth, sir? You haven’t… told me anything. Do we got a case?”
Edgeworth came walking back hitting him with a case file on the back of his head. "Get to work, or you'll get another pay cut.."
He hunched his shoulders and flinched forward.
“Y—Yes, sir! I’m on it, sir!“ …What was he supposed to do?

He was about to ask how she knew about his plans, but he shook the idea away. He knew better by now.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I try my best to keep Gumshoe in character, and it just kind of bugged me that in one RP a minor is suggesting that Gumshoe rape her and abuse her to fit in.
I can't... I don't like that stuff, even in RP. Gumshoe is loyal to the law. He wants to protect and serve, but not in that way.

I'm sorry, but my Gumshoe is canon; that means he will not rape or hurt ANYONE! He does tackle and rough up some criminals, but he will never rape or beat a child and woman, or even men that don't deserve it.
