I can imagine a life without you, but it seems impossible dreary, imperfect, unhappy.

When you love someone passionately, you simply cannot get enough of them. No quantity will ever suffice. The prospect of a never-ending supply is comforting. And, the prospect of a permanent absence is a tragedy. Never jeopardise a connection that you will spend a lifetime trying to rediscover.

You can never control who you fall in love with, even when you’re in the most sad, confused time of your life. You don’t fall in love with people because they’re fun. It just happens.

Someday you’ll find someone special again. People who’ve been in love once usually do. It’s in their nature.

I wonder if, as you get older, you stop missing people so fiercely. Maybe growing up is just focusing on what you’ve got, instead of what you don’t.

I’ll never be able to look at your face without loving you.

You are not broken. You can love and be loved, despite what may feel like the eternally brutal nature of the world. Even when you’re drowning and so far under, there is always time to reach for someone who will teach you how to breathe again.

Because with the right person, sometimes kissing feels like healing.
