“Not bad,” Izzy purred. She’d found her response rather interesting and close to her own likings, even. Her approval showed in the way her feline hues praised her. “Well.. I’ve already done one of the two things you mentioned and the other is really high on my bucket list. I’ll let you guess which is what, though.”

Rose beamed back at the brunette before tilting her head in a silent invite for her to take a seat, even though she didn’t seem to need one. “It’s nice to meet you, Nina. I’m Rose,” she introduced herself in return. “Not at all. It’s my first day, too. I feel you didn’t notice only ‘cause you’re a newbie as well,” the petite female added jokingly. “How’re you finding everything so far?”

“How bad do mosquitoes get at night?” Elena wondered as she sat on her towel, ankles crossed and palms pressed against the smooth, freshly-cleaned fabric to prop herself up so that she could stare at the beach before her. “’Cause I’m seriously considering sleeping out here tonight.” // @lirprb​

"So. If I got this right---which is usually the case---anything consensual goes around here,” the brunette began, head tilting on the side thoughtfully as her bright blue eyes scrutinized over the facial features of the islander across from her. “Which makes me curious.. What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to try so badly, but haven’t found the guts yet?” // @lirprb​

Rose was having a drink at the open bar, her one side leaning against the counter. While she loved having fun as much as the next person, she was a wallflower at heart. Someone who needed a bit of time to adjust and blend in. After spending her first day nearly on her own, when she spotted someone pass her by at the bar, she opened her mouth to invite them. “Hey,” her voice came out a second later as her brain fought to kick back down the nervousness in her stomach. “Would you like a drink? I could use some company right about now.” // @lirprb​

“When, huh? You seem as sure as I feel,” the brunette mused, her smooth tone being accompanied with a playful glint in her eye. She liked strong competition almost as much as women with self-confidence. “Well, I’ve always wanted to produce my own thing some day. Fifty grand would be a good addition to the budget.” With this year’s big break on the small screen, Izzy’s fame was rising along with her paycheck. The dream, of course, was making it on the big screen eventually but luckily, she lived in an era that made big names out of tv show stars as well.

“I mean, a little bit,” Rose shrugged. An easy smile formed on her mouth, letting the other know she found it no big deal either way. “Still, you should go for it. Besides, dorks are considered the cutest humans nowadays. I’m way more shocked you’ve never been to a beach before.” San Francisco was surrounded by beaches. She’d spent half her life around them. “Where’you from?”

Rose snorted out a laugh as soon as the blonde complained about the steamy situation at the canteen. “No, I get it. Guess when you’re in a fantasy you don’t stop to think about the discomfort your situation may cause,” she replied. Hazel hues glanced at the water bottle in her own hands before stretching it out to her. “If you’re not disgusted by my mouth.. You can have a sip from mine. I brushed my teeth in the morning and everything.”

“Sure thing,” Elena reassured the pretty female with a firm smile on her face. She signed for her to turn around in silence. “It sucks someone did that,” she commented, fingertips tossing the other’s mane over her shoulder before reaching for the ties. “Pretty sure that’s one of the few places you wouldn’t be judged for going topless, though. You holding it right?”

Elena’s body was laid on the sunbed nearby, her back facing upwards and her head resting on top of her joined hands. She was enjoying the warmth of the sun after the dive she’d took earlier, with the bikini strap on her back untied for an even result. “Absolutely anyone?” she repeated in an instinctive attempt to buy herself a couple more seconds. “I’d bring a pillow and Leonardo Dicaprio. There’s a bunch of ocean-related scenes I’d love to react with him. Hopefully he’d think ahead and bring a knife with him, though.”

The island was a paradise on Earth. There was no denying that. The only issue there was caused by Rose’s own mind. Nervousness and excitement tangled together in her stomach, forming a knot she didn’t know how to untie all by herself. Luckily, the invitation of an extremely handsome guy came like a lifeboat that gave her something specific to focus on. “Maybe... Where to?” she asked. It didn’t matter if he looked like a Greek god if he was about to go off to a golden shower competition of something.

Izzy had barely stepped foot on the island but it was affecting her nonetheless. She’d never been one to waste time trying to adjust: she just did. Within a couple days, the rest of the world felt like nothing but a buzz somewhere far, far away.. Especially when she was taking a night stroll by the beach, next to a gorgeous girl. She’d be lying if she claimed she was hoping for something to come out of it, too. When Morgan asked of her to unzip her dress, a smirk tugged the corner of her mouth. “You read my mind there.” The brunette stood behind her then, one hand resting on the small of her back as the other pulled the zipper down slowly. “’s there room for two, in that swim?”

Elena had assumed her nerves would be tied in knots upon arriving on the island, but thus far things were going well --- maybe because she had other things to occupy herself with, like finding her room and taking her luggage there. On the way, she wondered whether she’d find her roommate (and brand new couple) there. Her question was answered as soon as she pushed the door of the right room open and found a beautiful female sitting on the bed. “Hey,” she greeted back, her lips forming a warm smile. She couldn’t hide her satisfaction over the fact she was paired up with someone she found attractive on first glance. “Yup, that’s me. I suppose that makes you Sage,” she mused whilst dropping the luggage on the side and reaching out a hand to greet her. “It’s really nice to meet you.”
