A lot of my friends are engaged, in loving relationships and have kids. Kids aren’t in my plan yet, maybe someday. Anyway… an ex of mine got engaged and I couldn’t be happier for her. It’s friggin adorable. What’s crazy is that she’s engaged to an old co worker (he floats at my job sometimes, used to work with him closely a few years ago). Not sure how they met but it’s weird to know someone from a different chapter from their life and now they’re together.

I’m 29 - I love myself. I have a good job and proud of how far I’ve come. Yeah, I had the major setback of having to live with my parents again, but I’m hoping to move out by early next year.

I can’t help but feel like I’m a failure. I have to remember that we all have different timelines and that’s okay. We’ll get to those chapters when we can

I’m watching the hunger games and it reminded me of my tumblr days back in 2010 and nerding out about how great this book was. Oh man and the fan fic 😂

I turned 29 Friday and life is going okay. I’ve been single for nearly a year, still working at the same place. I’m content with life except the romantic part. I can’t remember the last time I slept next to someone - I never got enough time to spend the night with my previous partner (complicated poly situation) so it’s easily been 2+ years.

I’m one happy person :)

She did ask me if I wanted to go pick out a collar for me to wear for her. ♥️♥️♥️ I obviously said yes.

Also, she’s the second person I’ve met with the same birthday.
