Yo Zippy did another stream! There was a debate about pasta, it was pretty great. ALSO looks like they’re working on a scene Angel and Cherri bullying Pentious, as they should be! Here’s some (b l u r r y)screenshots, they also play the animation a few times at about 51:20

The artist Phuijl did a stream on Picarto about Alastor’s animation talking to someone. Maybe Charlie? 

Remember, is difficult for me to watch this streams in real-time, then, without a replay on youtube I cant do a gif of the animation, unfortunately.

You know him, you love him, the Radio Demon himself.

Died in 1933

In his late 30′s/early 40′s when he died

Some simple math, assuming he’s ~40 years old, gives us a birth date of ~1897, give or take a few years

Was a radio host and serial killer in life

Based in New Orleans, Louisiana

Kind of explains his connections with voodoo and stuff

Shot dead by a deer hunter, also makes sense because of the large deer population in Lousiana

Viv referred to his form as his “punishment”. 

The only symbolic thing I can think of is that he preyed on people in life, so he’s a prey animal in death?

“Manifested” in Hell “overnight” and rose to power at an unprecedented rate

“One of the most powerful beings Hell has ever seen”

Apparently the only mortal soul to harness that kind of power

Can shapeshift into many different forms, including a deer, and mainly does it to impress other demons

Almost 100% sure he is/was a cannibal, given that one speeddraw Viv did, and her citing a Wendigo, a creature closely linked with cannibalism, as part of his inspiration

Is asexual, and has no love interest

Probably has full control of radio media in Hell, seeing as he “broadcast his carnage” to make a name for himself, and I speculate Vox may have a similar thing with TV

Might also have some kind of projection ability, based on this screencap

Does not understand modern technology at all 

He died right before all the good stuff was invented, come on

Very competitive when it comes to games, he was stated in a stream to twist the rules so he would win “Jumanji style”

His mere presence can disrupt electronics and even reality. That might also explain him disappearing in the cap above

He would beat Venom in a fight

Alastor considers showing emotion to be a sign of weakness, which is why he’s always smiling.

If you do make him frown, you have seconds to live.

Doesn’t get pop music, enjoys jazz (he’s a New Orleans boy, what do you expect) and electro swing, because it’s most similar to the music he knows.

Ed Bosco also proposed “Minnie the Moocher” as a good song for him

Has a plot-related relationship with Lucifer, Ed also stated he’s the kind of guy who “knows everyone”

The hair tufts are indeed ears.

He does not like to be touched, at all, especially his ears

He can also apparently drive, but only like,1930′s cars based on that one storyboard of him punching Husk while Nifty looks on from the backseat

Opinion time

I am absolutely certain he has some ulterior motive for backing the hotel. If it’s somehow getting back to the world of the living to cause more havoc, taking over Hell, or just increasing the number of showtunes in Hell, we’ll get something good out of his involvement.

So this clip takes place after Lets Misbehave, obviously. Alastor is in the Hotel now and he’s talking with Charlie. In the background Angel and Vaggie Watch on and Angel does not know who he is

Vaggie makes a good point, why doesn’t he know who he is? He’s been in hell since 1947 and she’s only been there for a few years. He responds with humorously that he’s not big on politics. Vaggie then tells us the tale of the Radio Demon. Alastor showed up in 1933 as we know when he died but then he seemed to make quick work of the dominant overlords of Hell, that has ruled for centuries!! OVERNIGHT!!!

Apparently that kind of power had never been seen before in all of the history of Hell! And he even broadcasted his carnage over the Radio

That’s how he earned the nickname Radio Demon!! Now we know the origin of it now now here comes the moment I’ve been waiting for the reveal of the big bads of Hell!

I SEE YOU ROSIE!!! So Alastor, Rosie and all these others are the big bads of hell (sorry Sir Pentious XD) these are the demons with reputation with them, who are feared for very good reason. I wonder, what some of these demons have done, their backgrounds, oooo I can’t wait. Alsoooo

Husk and Alastor. How fitting they are together. I can’t wait to see their past touched on. Vaggie soon ends her story by saying they should not trust him. But Angel just shrugs it off calling Alastor “A strawberry Pimp”

This is the part that I was looking for even since I heard of Hazbin Hotel. The clip itself was amazing and hilarious.

Today, I’m going to give you my opinion about this crew of famous misfits. First we have Alastor, as creepy and fabulous as always, behind him is Husk and next to him who appears to be Nifty. I’m pretty sure they aren’t powerful like the rest, they are there because they are Alastor’s allies (before Husk quit). I mean, they are seen as shadows with a red aura, unlike the rest whose faces and bodies are visible.

Then we have Omnitraxus that guy with the skeleton head on fire and what appears to be a demon whose speciality/main mottif is love. Maybe a demon who inflicts pain and death using love? You know what the say: “Love makes you evil”. About the skeleton guy, I don’t know what he did, but I see that he is quite sophisticated, so maybe that’s something.

Behind Nifty is Rosie. Oh, my lovely and deadly Mary Poppins doll, I honestly didn’t expect her to be with the Big Bads of Hell. Maybe she is also a Cannibal and maybe she kills and EATS her victims when she is making a show/musical, much like Alastor kills his victims in his radio show. Next to her is another demon that I can’t tell if it’s a she or he, but I like it’s hair.

Then we have those two birds. What I can say about them? First of all, they are gorgeous. Their designs are amazing. They appear to be part of a circus or a very expensive and over the top show. For some reason, they remind me of Jackie and Alanzo, a bird couple from Zoophobia. I hope they are a couple, or maybe siblings. Anyway, these birds show confidence, style and are there to stay and make a big impresion.

Then we have: The TV Dubstep! I thought he was only a joke from Twitter, but what can I say? Welcome to the Big leagues TV head! I can’t wait to see the interaction between him and Alastor. Although they are in the same group, they don’t like each other. Maybe TV head wants Alastor gone believing that long time ago “Video killed the Radio Star” but Alastor will have none of it. I think that he is a recent addition to the group (Dubstep was born in early 21 century, and is still popular since 2010) and my question is: What he did to be with the powerful ones? and… Is he going to be the one to make Alastor frown? (poor Radio boy needs a break)

It’s the bat demon!

Oh boy, sorry… It’s just… I love this guy. I knew he was trouble more than just a background character the first time I saw him. He is the living(?) representation of tall, dark and mysterious. I can understand why he is there, Charlie mentioned that he was a crazy guy in the Rainbow Song. He is holding a skull (reminds me of Shakespeare) so I’m 100% sure he was a serial killer, THE serial killer of his time period. I heard that the powerful demons were based on different types of music. Alastor is radio from the 30’s, TV head is Dubstep, so maybe he is… Opera? Gothic music? Idk. I’m so glad he is relevant, because that means we are going to know his name.

Forget that, we need to know the names of everyone. I can’t believe Viv made me scream BACKSTORY when I see the 98% of her characters. It’s crazy, in a good way.

At the other side of TV head, we have a woman that I’m sure is connected to Lilith, or maybe not. Her design is so simple yet so regal I can’t tell what’s going on with her.

And last but not less important, the dinosaur girl from the Rainbow clip. Now I’m just very confused. What did she do? Are her dinosaur friends her gang or something?  She looks so cool and young and…

And…

I need this Pilot

I need to know where this is going. How the gang of the most feared and (some) ancient beings are going to react to Alastor joining the Happy Hotel. Are they going to think that he’s gone nuts, or that everything is for his most ambitious and evil plan of all time?

I need to see how Sir Pentious is going to try and join them and fail because honestly, I didn’t see him in the group, not even as a shadow like Husk and Nifty.

Alright everyone we learned alot of information in that new clip. Let’s start with some basics. Those big bads of Hell. Now we can see that the layout of the demons is not random, they seem to be in an hierarchy of a pyramid of some sorts. Now from the video we know Alastor is very powerful, that’s why he is considered one of them. But in terms of the pyramid, he’s towards the bottom. And who’s at the top? The Dubstep or T.V Demon. Almost like “Video killed the Radio Star”. Perhaps these two are rivals or Alastor is striving towards his position and Rank. Not to mention we also see Rosie, which as we speculated was a big bad. But she seems to be a bit higher than Alastor but yet the two of them are on good terms and are friends.

Second take a look behind Alastor, who is that we see? Husk and Niffty. Notice that they are behind and or right next to him, with a similar color shade as Alastor. The reason for this is Husk as we know worked for Alastor, but now we can see Niffty might of as well. Why do you think the three of them are drawn together alot? It would make sense.

Third, let’s focus on Husk because we do see a lot of art pertaining to him in that video. Him and Alastor together. They were partners in crime, possibly Alastor’s right hand man. But maybe one of two things happened, Husk realized what they were doing was wrong and had a falling out with Alastor, or Husk did something way worse than whay he is in Hell for and left out of guilt. One thing is for sure, Husk for sure did some terrible things while working for Alastor

Fourth, Vaggie mentions how Alastor’s soul manifested over night. This is intresting because it poses some answers to how Humans arrive in Hell. Maybe when Humans die, they have to wait a while before arriving in Hell as their soul transfers over to their new form and arrive in Hell. But Alastor was so powerful, that he arrived there quickly and got to work. Literally.

Lastly, this is just a bit of intrest and intrigue. Alastor managed to topple Warlords that had been in power for Centuries overnight. What stopped him from going forward and taking over Hell? Perhaps Lucifer himself? Who knows. All we know is, now we know why the Radio Demon is to be feared
