ENFJs are natural-born leaders, full of passion and charisma.

With a natural confidence that begets influence, ENFJs take a great deal of pride and joy in guiding others to work together to improve themselves and their community.

People are drawn to strong personalities, and ENFJs radiate authenticity, concern and altruism, unafraid to stand up and speak when they feel something needs to be said.

They find it natural and easy to communicate with others, especially in person, and their Intuitive (N) trait helps people with the ENFJ personality type to reach every mind, be it through facts and logic or raw emotion. 

ENFJs easily see people’s motivations and seemingly disconnected events, and are able to bring these ideas together and communicate them as a common goal with an eloquence that is nothing short of mesmerizing.

The interest ENFJs have in others is genuine, almost to a fault – when they believe in someone, they can become too involved in the other person’s problems, place too much trust in them. Luckily, this trust tends to be a self-fulfilling prophesy, as ENFJs’ altruism and authenticity inspire those they care about to become better themselves.

ENFJs are vulnerable to another snare as well: they have a tremendous capacity for reflecting on and analyzing their own feelings, but if they get too caught up in another person’s plight, they can develop a sort of emotional hypochondria, seeing other people’s problems in themselves, trying to fix something in themselves that isn’t wrong.

Signs you might be testing someone’s love:

Ignoring their texts to see how long it takes for them to reach out.

Picking fights or withdrawing just to see if they’ll fight for you.

Dropping hints instead of asking directly for comfort or support.

Feeling disappointed when they “fail” a test they didn’t know they were taking.

The problem with tests is they often backfire and your loved one doesn’t know the rules, and you end up feeling even more unloved.

How to stop testing and start connecting:

Notice the urge. Pause and ask yourself: Am I wanting reassurance or connection?

Name the need. Instead of creating a test, say it out loud: “I’m feeling insecure and need a little extra love today.”

Choose trust over fear. Give your loved one the chance to respond without jumping through hidden hoops.

Ocelot: The Soviets must be forcing the prisoner to lead them to the Honey Bee. You could let them find it and then steal it back from them.

Ocelot: [slightly irritated] Where did that Hamid survivor go? We need him to tell us where the damn target is…

I love the difference in Ocelot and Miller’s radio advice because Kaz is like an angry yappy dog barking KILL KILL KILL until the minute someone is in perceivable distress. Like ugh you gotta help this Hamid survivor don’t just leave him there to suffer! Meanwhile Ocelot is all: Boss, how about you step back and let the Hamid guy lead the Soviets to the weapon and then steal it from them lol, that could be fun. Ocelot seems to understand suffering and atrocities on an intellectual level [“just a hollow symbol in a place like this,” “morbid cynicism but it gets results” etc] but he has like, absolutely no concept of empathy in practice and is only able to think in terms of “this action will help Snake” vs “this action will not help Snake.” He’s trying very hard to come off as extremely nonthreatening and trustworthy to Venom but he’s like. Larping (everyone in da comms room gets a chill up their spine but they can’t figure out why*). And I just love that Kaz has a tough exterior but can’t help having a soft touch (wanting to rescue animals, prisoners; game over if a child dies on your watch, etc).
