after all this time i got sucked into a new fandom that might be interesting to you, hehe! welcome to my compilation of humanization designs from my tik-tok of some characters from DANDY'S WORLD
LET'S START WITH MY FAVORITE: Sprout!
since the character is literally a strawberry, i thought it would be really fun to make him strawberry blond. he's tall, with pretty broad shoulders and freckles not only on his cheeks but also on his nose. and he has a silly strawberry sweater. and on his "Salted Caramel" skin design he has cool earrings in the shape of caramel pieces!!!
of course, where would we be without doodles with him and Cosmo (he will have his own full-fledged art with design when i get around to it)
i love their sweet friendly dynamic so much
and another thing: my design for Sprout's "Star-Time" skin! many correctly noted that i made a noticeable hint at the Little Prince in his concept. i love how his star earrings reference his best friend's star earrings
let's continue! the second in line for design development was Glisten
in his i wanted to emphasize the image with a connection to ballet, but in a dual way. that's why he has a european uniform, but at the same time traditionally feminine elements like a bow and pointe shoes. i want to highlight his makeup separately, it was conceived as glass-skin makeup, in which blurred blush, eyeshadow and lipstick on a perfectly white face are fixed with a shiny film, which makes the face look like a porcelain doll. and yes, it can crack if a person "loses face".
i know he has two pairs of arms, but i didn't want to give them to him literally, so i resorted to associations. three pairs of limbs for me always signify a connection with insects and it just fits perfectly with such an element of clothing as a blanket on his shoulders. the inside of his blanket looks like the wings of a moth!
he has a birthmark that strongly contrasts with his pale skin due to albinism, forming the shape of a crescent moon, and his left eye is always closed and decorated with a vertical scar, which together form a semblance of a four-pointed star
and the last victim of my creativity - Dandy himself!
i wanted to give him the most friendly look, so his shapes are round and soft. and he is VERY curly! like a typical cupid. don't offend him
if i continue in the same spirit, there will soon be a second part and separately creepy humanizations of Twisteds. but you can watch their gradual development in my tiktok (I have the same nickname there, if that matters!!)
