“like i met the doctor, from doctor who, or captain america.” spencer explained. “it makes you consider your own knowledge of your life, you know? a deep philosophical thought as to who you really are, on if you’re just from someone else’s imagination.”he winces, “now i have a headache.”

“That’s what I’m trying to do at least.” She had to get home. “Is that a thing around here? Complaining about this place?”

“True.  We could have our memories lost and live a lie.” 

“you trying to say something?” gilbert arched a brow, frown curling his lips, “not much of a lie if it’s all i know.”

“Well thanks,” she chimed with a smile. “Katherine, it’s a pleasure.”

“ Maybe that’s why you’re the only one not complaining, “ he grins, taking another bite from his sandwich. “ If you’re used to it and all. “

Hearing the words leave the other, Bellamy dipped his head in few slight nods of agreement. He still wasn’t sure what to make of how earth changed in last six years, but it sure as hell beat what it was like in the weeks leading up to Primfaya. “I wouldn’t say it’s normal, but it is a hell of a lot better here than where I’m from” The words weighed at him heavily.

“Josh,” he replied as he quickly walked beside him. “What are you looking for specifically?”

“collar, litter box, and food and water bowls, as well as some softer cat food.” he explained, “probably a toy or two.” ezekiel explained.

a small frown formed on his lips, easily remembering the doctors and other strange weirdos in his best friend’s city, especially around the arkham asylum. thank rao that metropolis had less… uh… what’s another word for loco? 

     “ changed in what way ? like mentally or          physically or ? d’ya know the name ?… sorry           ‘bout asking a lot, just really curious and          hoping that its not some doctors i know.          they’re creepy as hell. ” 

“depends on the person. i’ve seen people with wings who didn’t have them before, or those who are de-aged.” he explained, “other’s lose more memories or gain some back, it varies.” he explained, “his name is doctor hugo strange. anyone with that last name seems a bit bad to trust.”

“Dude, I thought I lived here too, are you really sure about that?”

“not sure where else i would have lived.” gilbert said, rolling his eyes. “ wait, what do you mean thought?”

As the other male spoke Bellamy quirked his thick eyebrows upward, with a expression of perplexity stretching itself across his face. He was’t sure if the other male was joking or being serious. “Magic?” The  question left Bellamy’s mouth in a tone of uncertainly with his dark hues keeping a hesitant glance on the other. If there was one thing Bellamy had learned from the grounders, it was not everyone is to be trusted but he was hungry,so for the moment he’d go along with it.“ Alright fine. Let’s go.” He mused in  a low tone. 

“it was arthur c. clarke who said ‘any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic’, which holds true to this place -- scintific explanations fall short, leading me to believe it is a magic or psuedomagic force that is at play.”

“Well I’m going to get to the bottom of it,” she decided. “I’m a reporter, finding things out is in the job description.”
