“Seriously? Look, people ate other people and it was a blood bath. Like, there were literally people bathing in and drinking blood. It was disgusting.”

Deeks chuckled sitting up on the couch. “I don’t think I’ve slept in days.” Sure he’d napped but that didn’t count. He had made Callen’s catnaps look like child’s play and the nightmares from Siderov were still causing him some distress. “Whiskey.” The response was fast. Screw the hangover he’d have later. Hetty had given him the day off unless a case presented itself.

The blonde nodded, the disappeared off into the kitchen. She considered pouring him a glass, but decided it was best to just take the whole bottle. Quinn poured herself a glass of wine, she really didn’t feel like getting into whiskey, and got a glass for him, then tucked the bottle of whiskey under her arm and made her way back. “Here, thought I’d just bring the whole bottle. Saves you or me from having to keep getting up.” she told him, placing the items on the coffee table before sitting down on the armchair. 

“As long as it’s comfier than Kensi’s couch I’ll manage. Thanks. It’s been a long three weeks.” He face planted the couch wanting to just curl up and not exist for a while. Three weeks undercover wasn’t the worst he’d had but it was still grinding on him. He’d only been back at work a few weeks and already the darkness of the job was taking hold again.

Quinn shut the door behind her, then turned and walked further into her apartment. “I’d ask if you wanted to talk about it, but you look far too tired for words. So, want a drink?” she asked, “I have wine, whiskey, or absinthe if you really wanna feel terrible in the morning.” 

“LAPD bust only just wrapped up. I had to go through processing to seal my cover before they let me go. Can I crash here? I don’t have a ride home as my LAPD issue car was kinda flambéed.”

“Sounds rough. Sure, you’ll have to take the couch. But I don’t offer room service. Come in.”
