A man who learned that saving a life doesnât always happen in the OR.
Sometimes, itâs in the way you listen. Or the joke you tell. Or the time you stay a little longer.
Personality â đ
August is soft but bright and actually brilliant if you give him the opportunity to showcase it. Yes, heâs quieter than most other players in the game but when heâs speaks, people do listen. Not only that, heâs witty, sarcastic, compassionate and considerate. However half of the time he is confused or completely unaware of the fact he has no idea what is going on. Usually, heâs very friendly and focused though.
Heâs not the type to brag, but when he casually name-drops an obscure procedure or quotes a rare study, everyone suddenly turns their heads like: âWaitâwhat did Ridley just say?â
He has a good heart, so if heâs grieving but still tries to be hopeful.
He knows what itâs like to lose someone and still have to smile the next day. He knows what itâs like to love again with shaky hands. Even if it hurts so badly, where it feels like your heart is going to physically be broken.
Thatâs what makes him good â not just as a doctor, but as a person.
Heâs a hopeful romantic at times. Makes sense he found himself dating a few girls over the years. Even after heartbreak, he wears his heart just under the surface â not on his sleeve, but close enough that the right person might catch a glimpse.
Heâs most definitely the type to crack jokes in crisis situations. Not just that, heâs awkward yet charming with a smile that you cannot quite describe. Even so, heâs very nerdy when it comes to movies and shows he has seen.
Marvel, Star Wars, DC Comics, Glee, Heroes, and etc.
In the earlier years, August used to be the kind of guy whoâll compare your relationship dynamic to a Marvel duo and then shyly change the subject like he didnât just make your heart explode.
When it comes to music? You best believe August will be playing a bunch of different songs on his phone while in the Operating Room or in the car. Donât judge him!
Colleagues know heâs about to start a long surgery the moment they hear the music playing in the background. He claims it keeps his hands steady. No one argues.
â â â
Backstory â đïž
August grew up in what he calls a loving home. A father who was an attorney and a mother who was a doctor. His older sister was a wannabe fashion designer with a strong dream of becoming a mother and his brother chose to go into business.
His father, Andrew, wanted at least one of his children to become an attorney like himself because he knew it would be a good career choice. His mother, Margaret, wanted to make sure her children were able to have dreams and to have aspirations in life.
Even if they were the smallest thing.
Every single of the kids were incredibly creative and compassionate when it came to personality traits, but August was the most dazzling one in that category. The boy grew up singing in his room and painting his favorite things.
He was sure he would be an artist. That was until one of his cousins , April, announced that she wanted to be a doctor like her aunt, Margret, Augustâs mom. More specifically, a surgeon.
August didnât believe April one bit and thought she was completely bluffing. Everyone figured April was more fitted to be a baker or something. But April wanted to see what she could do, as August stood up and told her that he bet that even he could become a doctor.
Was it a challenge? Was it a bet? Was it a matter of getting under Aprilâs radar or something else?
All August knew that it was a gamble to make sure that he would see April fulfill that announcement. August himself, never thought of being in the medical profession, dealing with patients and seeing the gores of the human body wasnât his dream job.
Yes of course, August has always been clever, kindhearted and protective of those he cared for, despite his temper and lack of organization. Hell, heâs the same kid who will make his friends and family members feel alright, leaving himself as the last person to check up on.
Time went on, as he got older, August looked into careers. He began auditioning for singing chances, crafting his profile filled with drawings and painting for future reviews and such. The dude even thought he could consider voice acting too!
But the nagging visual of April starting to study and assembling a bunch of stuff for her medical school came into August view. He tried to ignore it, focusing on his own life and not think about it too often.
But for whatever reason, something sparked in August to try it. His siblings already knew what they wanted to do in life, meanwhile he was floating around with no idea what his future would be.
Cut to a few years later, studying and shadowing seasoned teachers, August came to Settle Grace to intern his first year. To say, it would change his life was an insult to the experiences he had been through.
Interned by Miranda Bailey, meeting his young and older colleagues such as Lexie Grey, Owen Hunt, Callie Torres, Alex Karev, just to name a couple. He shadowed Arizona Robbins for a while.
And when Jackson and his cousin, April, transformed over from Mercy West some time later? Things changed drastically as the group grew.
Those years, August felt as though he was having imposter syndrome, this was never his original intention to be a doctor but he did the work to barely pass the tests and get himself a white lab coat with his own ID.
He had patients test his nerves, questioning his ability to even sew up their wounds and listen to them, suggesting how they wanted a more accurate description of a doctor. Not a pretty boy who looked like he was waiting for his prom night.
He would get days where he was yelled at, shouted to go run errands instead of rounds, racing to get a shot at watching an surgery, get removed from someoneâs service and get placed in another.
There was a moment he froze during his first ever round of assisting someone during a general surgery. The patient was bleeding out from their side, as August forgot everything he had watched, as Bailey told him to step aside and let somebody else step in.
Hell, the man wanted to quit after a fight with the attendings and lower level players! He was ready to stay the whole day in an on-call room and ignore everyone, or straight up go home.
Then August would have the opposite reactions, single moms hitting on him or old ladies complimenting his hair, children in the pediatric ward wanting him to stay in their hospital room a little longer to just chat and even seeing good news appreciated by the families.
Doing a surgery with a fellow doctor he felt comfortable with, having music playing in the background, the conversations and minor complications from the patient being a relief to August. He just needed someone to take the time to listen and help him out with what he couldnât comprehend or communicate himself.
Moments like that made him feel like a good doctor. It was kindness, effort, and tiny glimpses of purpose that kept him going.
When August first started out he had no clue what specific area of expertise he would like.
Cardio, Plastics or Pediatric Care?
It helped that he was put under Yang or Teddy, Sloan and Robbins services as the years went on.
He REALLY considered PEDs cause of his friendship with Arizona and he adored the tiny humans, from babies to teenagers. He gets teased by the nurses because kids legit ask for Dr. Phin instead.
But he also loved watching a heart transplant surgery happen with Teddy and learned about the heart.
Hell, he found it fun and kinda awkward having a dynamic in Plastics with Mark Sloan and Jackson. Hell, Mark called them The Plastics Posse! Not everyday you get to give a lady a big ass or examine the bridge of someoneâs nose.
â Soon enough he realized that if he chose PEDs, he would get to still work on kids' hearts, bones and other organs. Not just that, choosing Plastics, meant he still got to make people feel better about themselves physically and mentally.
Imagine how he acted when he saw someone write down this on his chart -> August Ridley, Specialist in Reconstructive Pediatric Surgery with Cardiothoracic Elements. đïž
To this day, he believes thatâs a mouthful and an unbelievably wild idea.
However -> Once Mark had left and Jackson decided to keep the plastic community alive, August moved onto pediatric care for the chance to work with Arizona instead.
â â â
AUGUST TO THE SEASON 19 INTERNS â đ€
âLook. Theses are tiny humans with smaller organs than regular sized drunken men. Theses are kids who go to the movie theaters to watch their favorite characters shine, imagine that they are badass superheroes, and princesses who have talking animals as friends. These are parents who donât want their ears that donât make them look all weird and have issues in the future. These parents have so much love and compassion for their children, that they just want whatâs best for them. This isnât about what surgeries you will get or who is better than everyone else. Or trying to beat your colleagues! This is about teamwork and hoping for the best outcome!â
Summary: In other words, if Tony WASNâT the only father in Civil War

1. The Early Connection Between Steve & Stella âš
So, Steve and Stella meet earlier in this universe, and the relationship blossoms by 2013, leading to their marriage and first child, Bradley. This foundation of family is so important, because by the time we get to 2016, Steve isnât just fighting for his friends or his missionâheâs fighting for his family. And heâs not willing to let anything get in the way of his love for them. The fact that heâs already had Bradley by this point adds another layer of gravitas to the situationâheâs not just Captain America, heâs a father now, and every choice has more weight.
Steve balancing fatherhood, marriage, and being an Avenger:
This feels so grounded. Steve has always been a man of duty, but now, heâs juggling that with the very human responsibilities of raising a child, providing stability for his wife, and being the partner she deserves.
You really get the sense that being Captain America isnât just about saving the world; it's about being the protector of his own worldâhis family. And that makes his decisions, particularly in the heat of a global crisis, even more complex. Heâs thinking about the future, his legacy as a father, and his desire to be a present father.
2. The Accords: A Ticking Time Bomb in the Midst of Family Life đ
Now weâre in 2016. The Sokovia Accords come into play, and stress is at an all-time high. On top of this, Steve and Stella are expecting Kendallâso Stella is heavily pregnant and everythingâs amplified. The tension here must have been ridiculous. Imagine Steve, whoâs never exactly had the best control over his instincts or emotions, now dealing with this huge ethical dilemma. The Accords are literally about restricting what he does as a hero. But on top of that, the world is already fraying with Bucky's frame-up, and then thereâs Stella, pregnant, in the middle of it all.
The fact that Stella and Bradley are brought into the situation to potentially sway Steveâs mind just adds another layer to the tactical maneuveringâeveryoneâs trying to use his family against him in a way. But they canât because Steveâs love for Stella, Bradley, and soon Kendall isnât something that can be manipulated.
This is where Stellaâs influence on Steve really comes inâshe helps him balance his emotions and decisions because sheâs the one keeping him grounded. And Bradley, as Tonyâs nephew, really helps as a kind of emotional buffer to Tony, whoâs trying to push Steve into agreeing with the Accords. Tony just wants his own family and friends safe as well.
3. Stellaâs Early Labor & The Turning Pointâïž
Now weâre getting to the emotional gut-punch of this alternate timeline: Stella going into early labor due to the stress. Theyâre all stressed out since the day Ross came, period! This shifts everything for Steve. Heâs at a literal crossroadsâdoes he go fight for Bucky, try to clear his name and run off with his friend (who he feels so deeply responsible for), or does he stay and be the father and husband he promised to be?
Steve's choice to stay and be mature is SUCH a pivotal moment. He has to let go of some of his stubbornness. The self-sacrifice here is realâheâs always been the soldier who throws himself into danger without thinking twice, but this time, he chooses family. Thatâs a major turning point, and itâs such an interesting growth for Steve Rogers as a man. Heâs not just a soldier anymore, heâs someone whoâs learning to value the people he loves more than his duty as Captain America.
4. The Hospital Scene: Strategy, Support, and Family Unity đŻ
And then⊠in the hospital, in the middle of Stella's labor, Steve is studying documents and strategizing with Tony?! This moment is just epic. Picture Steve pacing around in hospital scrubs, baby Kendall on the way, and still strategizing to clear Buckyâs name and find a peaceful solution. Thereâs a combination of grief, love, stress, and determination in this scene, and itâs all happening in the backdrop of something as sacred as childbirth.
The fact that Steve and Tony actually sit down and talk things through instead of continuing the mindless fighting is HUGE. Itâs like a perfect blend of emotion and logicâthey finally listen to each other because Bradley (and soon Kendall) are both pulling them toward common ground. Tony canât keep fighting with Steve when heâs watching his nephew run around, loving Steve like a father. Tony is a father of two children himself, he should know! That bond pulls them both in the right direction.
Stella in labor, reading documents with Steveâitâs just like sheâs actively helping him figure out a plan while going through the most physically demanding thing in her lifeâtalk about a badass. Sheâs fighting for her family, fighting for her husband, and fighting for peace all while dealing with contractions. It just elevates her strength as a character to a whole new level.
Because Steve stays and focuses on a new planâbecause he doesnât just go off running with Bucky like he might have in the original timelineâhe and Tony actually start collaborating on how to handle the Accords in a way that doesnât tear the Avengers apart. Maybe Tonyâs able to see things from Steveâs perspective, and vice versa. The idea that they come together to think of an alternative solutionâwithout all the anger and fightingâfeels like the right course for them, especially with family in the center of everything.
In this universe, the Avengers donât fracture the same way. Yes, they have their differences, but because Steve wasnât too stubborn, and Tony wasnât too hurt to listen, they found a middle ground. Itâs a beautiful arc of both Steve and Tony learning to prioritize what mattersâfamily, integrity, and the future of their childrenâover their egos and pride.

Summary: one faithful night at Avengers Tower leads to a few friendly conversations đ
â
â
â
6pm on a Thursday night, thatâs when it started.
Nothing bad.
Just a little chilly evening.
Stella sat in the medbay, correction, she was standing in the medbay alone with her belly out and an ultrasound machine wired upright as she swirled the wand around her round bump.
Almost 9 months.
It didnât feel real.
Her and Steve agreed on two kids being enough.
Bradley and Kendall.
Perfect boys.
One in college and the other in elementary school.
Yes, they always imagine themselves with a big family, but with so many kids within Avengers Tower, along with their friends, two was enough.
They teased about having a daughter over the years, even joked or imagined the lovely idea, while snapping the other out of the idea.
Until, of course, a few romantic nights later, Stella found out they might be expecting and when Steve asked, if they should keep it or notâŠafter a long couple of hours
Well.
We can already tell what the next step was.
Cut to almost 9 months later, Stella was in her 3rd trimester, doing a self sonogram of the baby whenâ
âThere you are, honey.â Said Steve, as he stepped into the room. âIâve been looking for you everywhere.â
âWell, here I am, goodbye now.â Stella replied blowing him a kiss as she swirl the wand against her belly some more.
âNo, no, no, your not getting rid of me that easily. What are you doing?â
âIsnât it obvious?â
He rolled his eyes, âI mean, why are you in here and not getting ready for dinner yet?â
Stellaâs eyes were trained on the ultrasound machineâs screen as one hand was moving the mouse forward to get a better view of the world inside her womb.
âDouble checking if everything is alright.â Stella remarked, briefly looking at his direction.
âHoneyâŠâ He began. âWeâve been over this, everything is fine. Youâre okay and so is our growing family. Dr. Cho did a check up on you this week.â
âI know, I know..just, I feel like something is off..besides, Dr. Cho ainât exactly skilled in OBGYN or General.â She recalled as she whined, âMaybe we shouldâve gotten Bruce or somebody else to do it.â
âAgain, weâve been over this. Bruce is busy, and your father isnât equipped for it. And well, uh, Thiago, is not comfortable being his sisterâs doctor. So Dr. Helen Cho was the best choice.â
âI knowâŠâ
âBesides, I donât think itâs right for you to be your primary care doctor for this matter either.â
Stella slumped knowing he had a point.
She hates when Steve has a good point and able to make sense of her situation, when she gets way too concerned or unsure about things.
And to think, he used to be the nervous one.
She remembers when he used to ask so many questions, read articles online, and even read those old school books on âWhat To Expect When Youâre Expectingâ.
Only for Steve to very quickly realize that every pregnancy is different and you can never be certain what youâre going into.
And he was right about that.
From their friends, like Rochelleâs twin pregnancy to Stellaâs very own.
âNow, mind telling me whatâs really going on. Cause I know youâre never this quiet.â Steve says putting the wand down and handing her a baby wipe to remove the gel off her belly. He continues, âSomething is wrong when youâre too quiet.â
As Stella wiped off the gel, she hesitates to say it, as she knew it wasnât something that she needed to say out loud exactly.
Since he obviously knew about their history together, and yet she wondered if he was thinking the same thing.
Stella shifted her gaze before slowly explaining her thoughts. She told Steve how worried she felt lately about the weeks leading up to birth of their 3rd child.
Because due to past events, something always happens.
With Bradley?
He was a few days overdue.
They had a birth plan, only for him to be born through a c-section, as he wasnât in the correct position and his size was slightly on the larger side.
He also came on a hot summer morning.
With Kendall?
He was two weeks early.
Which is common, cause many babies donât always reach 40 weeks and are born a tad earlier than that. But it was the way he was brought into this world.
In the middle of a civil war between their friends and family.
Of course, Stella felt a tad guilty and nervous about how this one would go.
Steve listened as he sighed and took his wifeâs hands within his hands.
He understood where she was coming from.
He had those feelings too, he just didnât always vocalize it as often as he should.
However, it was why he was a tad more protective and cautious of his wife this time around. Not because he was scared that sheâll break or get sick but just worried that sheâll hide behind a smile all day.
Every time she said she felt sick, insecure and or upset, he tried to make time to help her feel better.
âSweetheart, I wonât lie, you do have a good point.â He said softly giving her hands a little squeeze, âOur kids tend to enter this world in their own interesting ways. But Dr. Cho does her monthly check ups every time sheâs here and she says that weâre doing everything right.â
âBut what if something happensâŠâ She began, a slight pout on her lips.
âLike what?â
âI donât knowâŠanother civil war, Tony and the boyd makes another murder bot..aliens have their yearly attack..or we have to attend a special event..and then boom! Iâm in labor!â
He cracked a soft smile, âFirst off, Tony learned his lesson, I donât know about his and Bruceâs sons, they end up making something one of these days.â He hummed, âAnd secondly, every time you were in labor, you werenât alone.â
It was true.
For Bradley, she had Steve physically and Thiago in spirit.
For Kendall, she had Thiago, Rochelle, Bruce, Natasha, Rick, Tony, Pepper and even Thor showed up with gifts for the young one days later.
The whole gang showed up for that one.
Once Steve saw her chuckle, and crack a soft smile, he relaxed a bit.
âYou see? We got a whole bunch of people here. If anything, we should be worried, if we didnât have any.â Steve said leaning forward to press a soft awaited kiss onto her cheek. âCome on, theyâre waiting for us.â
She turned off the ultrasound machine as she inhaled sharply, breathing deeply as she closed her eyes.
Steve stopped in his tracks seeing the discomfort displayed on her face and rubbed her shoulder, wrapping an arm around her.
âYou alright?â He asked in a soft tone.
She sighed as her shoulders rolled down a bit and nodded, âYeah, Braxton Hicks..I had one this morning while at a meeting..â
âWhy didnât you say anything?â
âYou were working out with Natasha and Rochelle..â
âRight, right.â
He waited for it to pass before leading her out the door gently.
Once they arrived in the dinning room, that was basically connected to the kitchen, Liane, Scott, Thiago, Bucky, Ethan and Cassie were there already starting to eat.
Bucky claimed that Sam was out with Tony and Bruce working on some new wings in the lab, while they tinkered on new equipment.
Some of their friends and relatives were out tonight, meanwhile others were somewhere within The Tower enjoying themselves.
They greeted the pair as everyone dug in.
â
As the evening progressed, some friends joined the table then returned back to their respective floors within The Tower, while others left to tuck themselves in for the night.
Thiago had a long reading session with Scott, before heading to The X-Manison together.
Ethan went to get some rest after helping his and Lianeâs daughter, Bella, with homework.
Liane and Bucky remained with Steve and Stella to help tidy up while they chatted.
On the midst of a long evening, on the far along side of the building, stood a sniper watching The Avengers Tower, waiting for the next steps to call it in.
Stella was drying dishes mid laugh, âOkay, thatâs not how it happened!â
âReally? So you did overuse the self tanner where you came out toasted instead of sun kissed?â Liane teased chuckling.
âSay the girl who uses self tanning cream at the beginning of every spring.â
âWhat? I have to make sure that I look perfect by June.â
âPff, Steve canât tan right, he looked like a carrot if he does.â Bucky joked snickering, as his friend send him a glare.
âThe name is Captain America, not Captain Puerto Rico, Buck.â Steve remarked smiling.
âStill. Even if I can get a decent tan better than all of you guys combine.â
âWeâll see how that goes this year.â
âDonât sweat it, Steve, Stella married you for your face, not your color.â Liane added chuckling.
âAnd his ass.â Stella whispered laughing.
âI married Ethan for all his ass-sets too, girl.â
The blonde girl, Liane, winked, as Stella giggled.
âAre we just meat to you guys?â Bucky asked in mock offensive tone.
âNo, clearly Sam finds every part of you attractive.â Liane sass him as she grinned. âHonestly, I donât quite see it.â
âYour lucky your pretty and got fire powers, you know that?â
Steve shook his head and smirked, âAlright, alright, no more playground taunting for the night. If anything, Sam and Ethan finds you both irresistible.â
âYouâre just jealous youâre not the only cure blonde here.â Liane says smiling as she wiped off another plate.
Stella chuckled as she rubbed her belly feeling a few kicks and along with another Braxton hick. She inhaled sofly as she pushed back it, as it passed shortly after.
âYeah, just getting Braxton Hicks..this is the 3rd one this week.â Stella explained casually.
âAre those like small period cramps?â
âSorta..some people say itâs like passing a kidney stone, similar to period cramps.â
Liane held back a smirk as she joked, âSo that means Ethan has gotten to experience period cramps?â
Bucky covered his face and rolled his eyes, âRemind me how we managed to let her be friends with everyone again?â
Steve patted his back chuckling, âLet it go, Buck. According to you, Tony is worse.â
âTony annoying, Liane is considered charming.â
Suddenly, the sound of popping hit a few ears.
Pop, pop, pop!
Along with heavy footsteps from a distance.
âJarvis?â Steve asked looking up at the ceiling in hopes the AI answered him.
âPlease tell me itâs just Magneto coming over to visit his grandchildrenâŠâ Stella murmured steadily.
Liane shook her head, âNope..he wouldâve called me or Ethan. Actually no, Charles calls, Erik just shows up tells us heâs coming and appears unannounced âŠâ
âLadiesâŠâ Bucky scolded them.
The doors to the elevator slid open as in walked Rumlow and a two goons.
Zolaâs men.
5 people in general.
Brock Rumlow smiled seeing the picture in front of him, as his eyes turned to Bucky and Steve.
Steve stood in front of his wife, as Bucky stood between Stella and Liane.
âWhat happened, Cap? Not happy to see me? I thought we were pals.â Rumlow spoke looking at him and then the others.
âI thought exposure to the booming took you out.â Steve questioned.
âWasnât it Wanda who threw him up into the airâŠ?â Liane recalled.
âFunny how you people forget the fact that remains of Hydra. Cut off one head, and two more grows back.â Rumlow says smiling. âCongratulations, by the way.â
âWhat do you want?â Bucky asked him.
âHarsh, Bucky. We go way back, I assume youâll be nicer after teaming up with the heroes.â
âDefine your definition of nice.â
âLook. Iâll cut straight to the chase, as to why weâre here. The kids.â
Stella wrap an arm around her bump as she stepped back pressing the button underneath the kitchen counter to silent alert the others in the tower they got unwanted company.
âOver my dead body.â Bucky snarled.
âBuck.â Steve began turning his attention to Rumlow. âItâs not gonna happen. Youâre not taking any of my children away again.â
â3rd timeâs a charm, Cap. We had Bradley hostage but The Winter Soldier rescued him and Kendall got lucky. But for your unborn baby, now that could be good use for Hydra. Especially if we get back our old friends.â Rumlow explained pointing his hands towards Liane. âLike Fire Girl over here.â
âIâm never gonna go back there.â Liane stated as her eyes turned a blazing flash of purple. âBesides, Stella got magic, she is protected.â
Stella gave a brief look to her husband.
Yes, she has magic, a sorceress, as she casted a spell over my jewelry to keep her safe. However, pregnancy tends to dampen her powers and keep her more vulnerable than ever.
â

masterlist
âB-R-A-D-L-E-I-,â
âWait, wait.â Dean shook his head, holding his hands up to stop his sonâs spelling. He set his pen down, taking the list of Maxâs classmates into his hand. He squinted at the paper. âYouâve got to be shitting me.â He mumbled.
âLanguage!â You chimed out from where you stood at the stove at the same time as Max had. It was a cute little thing that the young boy had picked up on, you scolding Dean for his swearing around your son. Well, it was cute up until he had begun to say it to you, which he did frequently when you thought he was in a different room.
âDo these parents think theyâre God or somethinâ?â Dean grumbled, ignoring you two. You sent a scrunched-nose smile to your son, sending him into giggles. âYou canât just make up names.â
âDean,â you sighed, waddling over to the man with your hand on your stomach. You were seven months pregnant, but you still felt like you were going to burst at any second. You leaned down to look at the paper in his hand. âBradleigh is a name.â You told him, raising your eyebrows at him. He rolled his eyes playfully, pointing to the name.
âNo. Bradley is a name, Bradleigh is not.â Dean argued, changing the infliction of his tone as he spoke to make his point known. This wasnât the first time he had a problem with something in Maxâs class. At the beginning of the school year he had a very heated email-argument with third grade teacher about the proper snacks to bring to school. Mrs. Bronahan didnât seem to enjoy the cupcakes Dean would send when it was their turn for snack day.
âWell it is now.â You decided, placing a kiss on his cheek before penguining your way back to your soup.
âEw.â Max groaned at the romantic gesture. This was a new thing he was doing, finding it gross when you showed any ounce of love toward your husband. You only narrowed your eyes at him, causing him to go into another bout of giggles.
âIâm just sayinâ-,â Dean began again, but you cut him off.
âHow about you finish those valentines that were supposed to be done last week instead of complaining about how the Millers chose to name their children?â You chided, throwing some seasoning into the pot in front of you. Dean frowned, still looking at the list.
âYeah Dad.â Max chimed in. He was ever the Mamaâs boy, always taking your side unless Dean had bribed him with ice cream for dinner. You smiled at your boy.
âThank you my love.â You spoke while scrubbing at some of the dishes in the sink.
âHey now, we tried to do them last week, but Mr. I-need-a-special-card-for-Valerie was distracted.â Dean defended himself, jabbing a thumb at Max. The boy flushed red and tried to hide his face. Valerie, a girl in his class, was his crush-of-the-month. You loved your little boy and his sweet intentions in trying to impress the girl.
âI was not!â Max exclaimed, grabbing a heart-shaped sucker from the pile in front of him. Dean swiped it out of his grasp.
âWere too. And those are for your classmates.â Dean chided while placing the candy back in the pile. Bullshit, Dean had been snacking on them himself just the night before. You remembered his red lips and sugary sweet kisses. You made your way back to the boys and handed Max the candy back before taking one for yourself.
âThanks Mama.â Max squeaked out before shoving the sucker into his mouth. Your heart jumped at the name. Recently, he had been set on calling you âMomâ instead of his usual âMamaâ, but there were still times he slipped up. You didnât want him to grow up. You wanted him to be your baby forever and keep him right where you could make sure he was safe.
Dean gave you a stink eye, but there was no heat in it. He knew better than to argue with his pregnant wife. You popped your own sucker into your mouth, letting the artificial cherry melt onto your tongue while you rubbed Deanâs shoulders.
âWhatever. Letâs get back to it, man.â Dean relaxed into your touch, giving Max the class list again. They worked in tandem, Max spelling each of the names with minimal criticisms from Dean and his Sharpie.
Once they were finished -- it really hadnât taken that much time, there were only twenty kids --, Dean twisted his head up to look at you. You smiled down to him and the twinkle in his eye told you he was about to say something cheesy.
âYou know,â he began, his hand wrapping around yours, âIâm a sucker for you, honey.â He finished the saying that had been printed on each sucker wrapper and kissed your knuckles. You laughed softly at him.
âGross!â Max exclaimed, looking away from the two of you. You ignored him and placed a kiss on your husbandâs lips. Dean chuckled at his son, shaking his head.
âOne day youâre gonna be kissinâ your wife, kid. Maybe even Valerie.â Dean teased, poking at the young boyâs side. Max covered his face with his hands, but you still caught the sheepish smile.
âI love you both.â You mumbled and leaned into Dean, his fingers lacing into yours. You were happy. This was your family, and even with all the small flaws, you wouldnât have it any other way.

Background: Jordana, known as "Echo," is a skilled medical doctor in the squadron. She earned her callsign due to her exceptional diagnostic skills and the ability to provide vital medical support during missions. Her father was a renowned military surgeon, which inspired her to pursue a career in medicine.
Personality: Compassionate, charming, level-headed, and dedicated to her patients' well-being.
Lifestyle: Echo leads a fulfilling life, both personally and professionally, and is committed to her role as a doctor.
Nicknames: Her colleagues often refer to her as "Jorâ or âJordanâ
Extra information: What she loves the most is getting get nails dirty and behind the wheel of a car or plane, ever since she was a child she was fancied by the way Navy pilots took the skies and feel like nothing even better once theyâre above the clouds. That feeling of watching the world spin around while your frozen to your seat in the air and the adrenaline you get afterwards. ïżŒ
She was flying for a while in the late 90sâearly 2000s, when she saw plenty of pilots become jet washed and she didnât like it one bit, hearing stories about plenty being injured on the job and not a lot of staff on board, so that resulted in her taking up a medical exam. A few short months later, she started working alongside nurses and doctors to help nurse pilots back to health. Which is where she met Captain Maverick Mitchell, as he was injured after flight testing and sent to the medical wing of the North Islands to get check up, he was charming and thanked her for cleaning up his wounds.
With a smile Jor told Mav, âYou gotta be more careful next time, Captain.â Maverick just grinned and nodding, saying heâll try to best more cautious even though sometimes tells him, he will be back in this medical wing a few short months later. And he was right, meeting Jor again as she was sewing his wounds near his eyebrow. That time, he brought a friend who got hurt with him. Wraith. So she had two patients to nurse back to health, thankfully they werenât that badly affected from the crash. Just a few cuts, bumps and bruises.
It didnât take long for Jor to meet the rest of the 86 crew members, as Hollywood, Wolfman and Slider would make appearances at the hospital along with their friends Iceman, Buzz, Valkyrie, Sunset and others. Sometimes it was for checkups, other times to see some of their friends at the clinic but sometimes they just liked hanging out with the staff. Mainly because they were good people.
Captain Apollo "Mack" McClearyđ
Callsign: Mack
Age: 42
Background: Mack, known simply as "Mack," is a control room operator. He earned his callsign due to his impeccable skills in managing communications and mission coordination. His precision and reliability make him an essential part of the squadron.
Personality: Analytical, total sweetheart, humorous, reliable, and a natural problem-solver.
Lifestyle: Mack has a steady and disciplined lifestyle, often working long hours in the control room.
Relationship Status: Mack is married to his high school sweetheart.
Nicknames: His colleagues affectionately call him "Mac."
Extra information: Apollo has been in the multiple square areas and has been working ever since he started back in 2005 in the Navy, wanting to be apart of Blue Angels and be behind the controls. He has always been one to have honest honor and respect towards everyone around him, putting his trust and thoughts into pilots he believes who can take the heat as he navigates them from the operations center. Such as Iceman, he would give all his attention and follow his leadership, as he stands back in the frontline of the control room sending up to the skies.
But it also gets him into a lot of trouble, due to him listening to Maverick during the Darkstar Project for Mach 10! Apollo knew it was supposed to be canceled that day, but a part of him though they gone so far into the process of making a jet that can go hypersonic it was worth a final flight according to Maverick. So Mack and his team got to quick work setting everything up in the control room launching Maverick into the air as he commuted with him from the ground reaching Mach 10âbut it cost him and Hondo in some trouble with Admiral Cain afterwards. Even though, Apollo got into some trouble he was secretly grinning due to the fact that they achieved that purpose for the project, running home to his high school sweetheart to tell them to the good news.
Afterwards, Hondo gave him a call telling Mack he would be sent to Top Gun to help manage communication and mission coordinations. He was humorous about the fact that he would be returning back to North Island. But he always knew that he would never have a bad reputation there, since one of his friends/lieutenants Fanboy Garcia and Payback Fitch would be sent out the same mission too. ïżŒSo letâs just say things got interesting when he saw how The Dagger Squad decided to challenge Maverick, because Mack was waiting for every single one of them for their push-ups with a smirk.
Mack had his arms crossed and said, âIt was all shits and giggles, huh? Drop down and start giving me 10 then weâll raise it to 20.â All the Daggers glared at him, dropping down giving him 20 push ups as Hondo grinned counting them.
Naomi "Nova" Reynoldsđ»
Callsign: Nova
Age: 28
Relationship Status: Single
Background: Naomi, known as "Nova," is a bartender who owns a popular bar near the naval base. Her callsign reflects her vibrant and outgoing personality, which lights up the atmosphere in her establishment. She serves as a source of support and encouragement for the Navy personnel and fighter pilots who frequent her bar.
Personality: Charismatic, welcoming, and known for her sense of humor.
Lifestyle: Nova enjoys a social and active lifestyle, always looking to bring joy to those around her. But she also sassy, knowledgeable due to being a bartender so she knows secrets, and loves karaoke.
Nicknames: She's often referred to as "No" by her regular customers. The women know the rules for the bar set by Penny Benjamin, so she doesnât have a problem telling people âNoâ, or âNo roughhousing, take it outside.â
Extra information: Naomi never really knew what she wanted to do in (still doesnât to be honest), as she always has dreams and aspirations for things but as time files so quickly it feels like those ideals werenât coming as fast as she wanted. As Naomi always said she wanted to be a writer, a musician of some kind finding herself making stories and music, then posting them on social media for some sort of attraction. One afternoon, at The Hard Deck she decided to take a chance singing on the small stage with her old guitar and caught a few eyes.
Penny, the owner of the bar saw how nice of an impression she made on the crowd and offered her a chance to sing whenever she wants. She even asked if she was open to working at the bar as well, Naomi didnât mind it at all and agreed to Pennyâs offer. Training under her and practicing bartending. And to be honest, Naomi loved it!
Working at The Hard Deck made her smile, let her have some fixable schedules since she had an active lifestyle and socialize with brand new people everyday. It resulted in her meeting some friends such as Lucky Kenner, who she already met before she started working there, and the rest of the Daggers. Anyone who walks into the bar, sheâs always the first one to greet them at the counter with a smile pouring drinks and taking orders. They would say sheâs a sight for sore eyesïżŒ with an encouraging enough smile.
Jeremy "Renegade" Turner đ
Callsign: Renegade
Age: 47
Background: Jeremy, known as "Renegade," grew up in a family with a military tradition. His father was a Navy pilot, and he followed in his footsteps. His callsign reflects his tendency to sometimes push boundaries and sometimes take unconventional approaches during missions, often against orders. Makes sense how he ended up with Maverick as a friend.
Personality: Adventurous, sarcastic and snarky, witty, a bit rebellious, and unafraid to take risks depending on the situation.
Lifestyle: Renegade is a single pilot who leads an adventurous and sometimes unpredictable life, as heâs always sent on missionary work to go undercover and investigate tasks for the Navy. Sometimes it makes him question his line of work and wonder whenâs retirement for him again.
Relationship Status: Single
Nicknames: His fellow aviators often call him "Ren" for short.
Extra information: Due to him messing around with Maverick and his gang so much, it makes wonder if he needs new friends, then he remembers Iceman and Wraith are there then he feels a little better. He thinks heâs sarcastic, stubborn as hell and snarky until he met Icemanâs wife Daredevil also known as Hazel, who nicknames him Hawkeye as a joke.
Ren has been working on and off duty for years, everytime he thinks heâs off the hook or thinking retirement is on his wayâBAM! Heâs given new duties to watch over new records and recruits for TOP GUN, which in his opinion ainât so bad. He actually liked the new fresh faced students at TOP GUN, being so young and spirited in the way they fly. Some are way cocky for their own good where they get in trouble with their superior officers ïżŒmeanwhile others are trying to keep an low profile and just learn from their own actions.
Ren being well..Ren, always try to get under their skin and see what theyâre made of, in small manners. Like letâs say heâs talking to another person and a student is running in the halls, he tells them to not do that but they wonât listen. So in result, Ren would lean a foot outwards causing the student to trip and learn to not run in the hallway. âOops..i said watch where your going!â Ren said with a little smirk.
Sometimes Ren gets dragged into the craziness of Maverick Mitchell and the others plan. Such as when he was given the role to return to Top Gun as an independent counsel with Hondo and Hazel, having to watch over the team of returning recruits for the highly competitive mission. A few of them, he trained himself being their co-instructor years back, being Payback, Phoenix, Yale and Harvard. Even met Halo once during her classes.
Ren was in charge of being the one up in the far skies and taking notes of the crews flying skills, measuring their speeding length as they went along. Having everything ready for pre and landing as well! Like said beforehand, Ren has a tendency to not always follow orders and end up regularly regretting it later depending on what it is, pushing a few boundaries when it came to Admirals. So in result, he was the one to open the hard deck without Admiral Cycloneâs permission for Maverick to fly and even a few other things.

Romance â đ
Terrance has known flirtation and fleeting affection in his youthâlight crushes, whispered promises, and moments that almost became something more.
But as he grew older and life pulled him down more winding paths, he chose solitude.
Heâs been single for some time now, quietly prioritizing duty, healing, and the quiet magic of ordinary days over the rush of romantic love... for now.
âđ â
Titles heâs taken on: Dust Keeper, Knight, Thief, Magic User
â His most notable title is: Terrance đ
Once, he was known throughout Pixie Hollow as a Dust Keeper Sparrowman, one of the few entrusted with one of the realmâs most sacred tasks.
Each morning before the sun rose, Terrance would awaken to distribute Pixie Dust to the fairiesâan essential ritual, as every Never Fairy requires at least a teacupâs worth to fly each day.
But Terrance wasnât just a steward of magic. He trained alongside the Scout Talent Fairies, earning his place not just as a dustkeeper but as a knight in spirit and skill. He learned to protect, to lead, and to fight with both precision and honor.
Even without wings, even far from Pixie Hollow, those instincts remain. He is a protector firstâusing magic only when needed, and trusting in skill, cleverness, and heart above all else.
â
â đ â
â
đł Origin Story:
Terrance was once one of Pixie Hollowâs most loyal knights â a Dust Keeper of high skill and strong heart.
Trained to protect and serve the Fairy Council, he carried not only pixie dust, but the burdens of quiet responsibility. He believed in Blue, once. He believed in her vision of order, light, and righteousness â until he saw what that ârighteousnessâ did to others.
He watched as Blue punished Tinker Bell for a simple act of compassion â helping a lonely young Regina find love. He spoke up. He begged Blue to reconsider. He was ignored.
Still, Terrance held his post. Until the day he didnât.
While wandering the Enchanted Forest, still on duty, he stumbled across an abandoned cabin... and inside it, a baby girl â barely two, crying and alone. Using illusion magic and fairy dust, he retraced the last spell cast. Her mother had passed into the stars. Her father was long gone. No one was coming back.
And so, Terrance did what he always believed was right: he stayed.
He stole fairy dust to care for the child. He protected her. Named her. Loved her.
When he returned to Blue with the truth, she already knew.
The child, she claimed, was destined to grow up in the woods, to be shaped by solitude and lessons of fate.
Terrance had interfered.
He was no longer âobjective.â
He had stolen pixie dust.
Terrance argued â that he was a knight, a guardian, a Dust Keeper sworn to help those in need. That he acted with kindness, grace, and compassion â the very virtues Blue preached.
She agreed... and still, she punished him.
Stripped of his wings. Cut off from Pixie Hollow.
But curiously, his illusion magic remained â as if even the rules couldnât touch the one part of him that came from love.
From that day on, he was no longer Terrance the Fairy.
He became Simon Terrance Artemis â human, grounded, and fiercely devoted to the little girl he now called daughter.
He raised her in the wild, quietly, lovingly. He taught her swordplay, ethics, how to read the forest and people.
He called her Grace Erin Artemis, for the qualities that had shaped his choice that day: grace, courage, and quiet strength.
He called her âGracie.â And she was his everything.
â
â đ§ș â
â
đȘâ Magic & Abilities
Illusion Magic:
A subtle, visual-based form of fairy magic. Simon can project sights, cloak his movements, or create protective mirages. But his powers fade when he grows weary or loses hope â a reflection of how magic is tied to faith.
Combat Training:
Once a fairy knight, always a fairy knight. Simon is a skilled swordsman and tactician, trained to defend with both blade and strategy.
Dust Sense:
Though cut off from the supply, Simon can still âfeelâ the residue of pixie dust in places, like warmth in the air or echoes in time.
Empathy for the Outcast:
His greatest power may be his heart â the ability to see worth in the forgotten, the cursed, the unloved. Itâs what led him to Gracie.
đ The Rift With Blue
Simon does not hate entirely Blue â but he no longer trusts her.
To him, she represents everything broken in the fairy order: rules above mercy, fate over freedom.
She punished Tinker Bell. Then she punished him.
Her refusal to bend cost lives, love, and wings.
She is willing to come up with solutions and ways to improve the quality of the work, only when she sees fit.
Even worse? Lying and pretending to be the most good fairy in the area, as she believes that certain people shouldnât be given a chance. It led to Tinker Bell losing her wings after trying to help a young Regina, yes she stole dust to do it, but her intentions were strictly good.
Simon However?
He believes in choice and chances, but chosen carefully â and that true goodness includes the courage to defy the stars. Who hasnât messed up and got lost many times in their lives? Who hasnât made wrong decisions out of fear and anxiety? Or the intentions are good but the actions were wrongly made?
But like he said, choose carefully. Because there are people who are worth many chances and opportunities when you know itâs true, but others arenât.
â
â đ§ș â
â
đ€ â Personality Snapshot
Noble & Quietly Fierce: A protector to the core. Simon acts with integrity, not pride.
Wounded but Standing: Losing his wings hurt. Being human was harder. But he remains on his feet.
Sarcastic Under Pressure: If heâs cracking a joke? Heâs probably mid-duel or mid-crisis.
Gentle Father, Reluctant Hero: All he wanted was to keep one little girl safe. Now he might change her whole story.
Romantic in Secret: He wonât admit it, but he used to leave flower crowns at Tinker Bellâs doorstep.
Quiet, Thoughtful, and Guarded: Years in Storybrooke â especially living as human after Blue Fairyâs betrayal â softened him, made him quieter, more introspective, and sarcastic as hell. The loss of his wings wasnât just physical; it changed how he trusts, how he loves, and how he fights for what matters. Though kind and helpful, Simon no longer trusts as easily as he once did.
đČ Symbolism & Themes
The Fallen Knight: A classic archetype â but with a twist. His fall wasnât from pride, but from love.
Fatherhood as Redemption: He wasnât born a father. He chose to become one.
Grace After Exile: Even cast out, even broken, Simon remained kind â and thatâs the real power of grace.

A Cup of Tea, a Stitch of Fate â âš
When Terrance lost his wings, he thought he lost his purpose. No longer a fairy knight, no longer one of the realmâs silent guardians â he became Simon, a man cloaked in shadows of memory and magic, now thrust into the mundane rhythm of fatherhood. But where magic once flowed, he now found grace â in the giggles of a curious child named Gracie, the daughter he raised not by blood, but by choice and miracle.
Trying to navigate his new life as a father in this strange in-between world, Simon crossed paths with another man whose eyes held the same haunted glint of loss â Jefferson, once the infamous portal jumper known as the Mad Hatter. The two met when their daughters â both, oddly enough, named Grace â ran into each other in the woods and instantly clicked. The coincidence was enough to make Simon blink twice, but it was Jeffersonâs quiet kindness and stitched-up sorrow that truly struck a chord.
Jefferson had given up his dangerous life of realm-hopping after his own poor judgment cost Grace her mother. Now he stitched hats instead of portals, selling his wares at the market and patching up his daughterâs clothes with the same threadbare hope he used to mend his own mistakes. Simon, meanwhile, performed little magic tricks for coin and dignity, still unsure of how to plant roots in this new soil.
Over cups of tea while their girls played in the clearing, Jefferson and Simon found something unspoken yet unbreakable â a bond forged not through shared pasts, but through present efforts. Two broken men, trying desperately to be whole for the sake of the little girls who called them Papa.
And then one quiet afternoon â a neighbor watching over both girls while their fathers worked â something strange and fateful happened.
Gracie, ever curious and full of spark, wandered further than she should have. She spotted a cottage nestled deep in the forest, unfamiliar and oddly inviting. Inside, the home was warm and worn: three chairs, three bowls of porridge, three beds. Toys scattered about, hand-stitched blankets folded with care. Her golden hair caught the light as she stepped inside with wide eyes and soft steps.
But then â the bears returned.
A low growl rumbled from Papa Bear as his large frame loomed in the doorway. Mama Bear stood defensive, ready to protect her cub. But Baby Bear... stepped forward, ears twitching, nose sniffing the unfamiliar scent of the girl with golden curls.
Gracie froze, fear painting her features â but instead of running, she bowed her head and whispered, âIâm sorry. I didnât mean to come inside. I didnât touch anything. I was just... curious.â
Papa Bear growled again, but his voice held less venom. Mama Bear narrowed her gaze, uncertain. And then Baby Bear reached out a paw â not to claw, but to press gently into Gracieâs open palm. A silent nuzzle, a trust offered and returned.
Something shifted in that moment.
Gracie didnât eat the food. Didnât break the chairs or sleep in their beds. She wasnât greedy or careless. She was just a child â very curious, kind, and lost in a world she didnât fully understand yet.
And so the bears let her go.
Gracie returned to the neighborâs home breathless and bright-eyed, the story tumbling out between bursts of laughter and wide-eyed wonder. She didnât know it then, but that strange afternoon would plant the seed of something more â something legendary. A tale that would one day echo through storybooks as Goldilocks and the Three Bears â but not quite how the world remembered.
Because this version? It wasnât about breaking in or stealing.
Yes, she screwed up by leaving the neighborâs yard and almost getting completely lost. But it was about being seen, being spared, and being loved â even by those who were meant to fear you.
And that, perhaps, is the real magic.

đ„ â CURSED MEMORIES & BURIED TRUTH: Life in Storybrooke
In Storybrooke, Terrance no longer exists. He is Jonathan Hall nowâa quiet, deeply thoughtful antique shop owner with a tragic past that even he believes.
According to his cursed memories, Jonathan lost his wife in a fatal car crash alongside his best friend one rainy night, leaving him to raise their two orphaned girls: his daughter Emily and his best friend's daughter Paige, whom he considers family. The girlsâsweet, clever, and inseparableâknow him as a gentle yet guarded single father, carrying the weight of grief and responsibility on his shoulders.
What he doesnât remember?
That his name is Terrance, a once-fairy-turned-knight who swore loyalty to protect others after losing his wings, and that those little girls are actually Gracie Erin, his real daughter, and Grace, the daughter of his best friendâJefferson.
â đđ§șâšâ
đ° â LOST IN TIME: Jeffersonâs Curse
Meanwhile, Jeffersonâtrapped in a grand, lonely house on the edge of townâremembers everything.
He lives outside the rules of time in Storybrooke, cursed with full memory of who he was and what he lost. He watches, day by day, as his daughter Graceânow Paigeâgrows up in someone elseâs home. But he doesn't hate Terrance for it.
If anything, heâs grateful. In a strange, bittersweet twist of fate, Jefferson finds some comfort knowing the man raising his daughter is someone he trusted with his life.
Of course⊠he watches them through a telescope đ from his window (yes, creepy but tender).
â đđ§șâšâ
đ« â THE PAST BEFORE THE CURSE
Before the curse, when Regina offered Jefferson the Wonderland job, Terrance had a bad feeling in his chest about the whole ordeal. He seen from experience how certain players are treated by people in particular positions, especially someone like The Evil Queen. He knew Regina in the far past wasnât the worst person alive, she had her best moments and her darkest that led to this very point.
In response? He even offered to go in Jeffersonâs placeâbut the Queen didnât want a knight. She wanted the man with the hat. Jefferson entrusted his daughter Grace to Terrance just for the day⊠but that day became forever, and he never came back. Terrance, already raising Gracie Erin, simply raised Grace tooânever knowing the heartbreak behind it.
But deep down, both girls knew the truth.
Now in Storybrooke, Jonathan lives with a phantom grief over a wife and best friend he never truly had, while Jefferson lives with real grief, remembering every choice he made.
And the girls? They just know love.
Until a certain blonde in a yellow bug rolled into town one night with the mayorâs son and changed the course of the game forever.

Pairing: Steve x Stella, Bucky x Sam, Liane x Ethan

Earth - 199 đ

Days past since the battle with finding Lokiâs staff, among other things. Coming in contact with Wanda and Pietro was one of those things. The team decided to celebrate, have some fun. But there was Stella, still dressed in a lab coat, holding a iPad and looking over Clintâs scans as the man was healing up.
As Dr. Cho and Bruce put it, Clintâs body was creating tissue without realizing.
Never mind once minded parties, hell she loved them. But after the encounter a few days ago prior with Loki, and then the one with Wanda and Pietro? Not just that, seeing teammates bruised and hit pretty hardâŠit wasnât odd for her to want and stay monitoring the match instead.
Maybe it was an old habit she picked up from her years in the medical field. Who knows?
She turned around to see Steve Rogers standing there, leaning against the doorway, and replied, âYou do know that Clint was hurt less than a few days ago, right?â
He chuckled and pushed himself off the wall, walking over to her as he nods, âHow could I forget, I was there. But honey, heâs healing. Heâs okayâŠthe question is, are you?â
She shrugged in response and let out a shutter breath, âI guess..I just wish that the team would be more transparent and careful out there..I can heal up wounds on the fly, or blast away an incoming opponent. But the real injuries, those take time to heal and recover fromâŠI should knowâŠI wish we were safer..that the world would be safer..â
Stella hides that behind a smile and a joke, however when you catch these moments, you can see how deeply she feels about the team. She hates seeing them upset or even in pain, wanting to cast a protection spell if possible. But she knew that wasnât the way.
After a moment he speaks, âI think you are looking too closely into this topic tonight. I understand where your concern came from and I feel the same way, but we just have to be more careful next time. Have each otherâs backs.â
âI just hope that want all of us to catch a break soon. I donât want the next time one of us are out there to be our lastâŠâ Stella responded, implying something deeper.
He understood what it meant and simply nodding, pulling her into a light embrace as she wrapped her arms around his waist, sighing deeply. As always, the team will do better, and do it together.
When it came to parties, Stella was always one for drinks and dancing, dragging others to the dance floor. Who can blame her? But ever since the accident years earlier that was a post-party event, where she was dressed in the finest outfit she owned turned into a fatal mistake causing her skin to be torn, a few broken bones, and bleeding from her arms.
Her body never fully recovered after the attack. She never felt as pretty and as dazzling in her surroundings again.
But tonight was her only chance to drop her shoulders, throw on a dress, and no need to worry about her losses. Yeah, sure, her skin was not as smooth or even clear from damage over the yearsâbut she felt alright.
It also helped that her soon-to-be husband and her friends, supported her all the way. So far she felt absolutely loved and appreciated, even beautiful in her own right.
She found herself at the bar chatting with Maria Hill, Tony, Rhodey and Thor downing her drink. Rhodey was telling a War Machine story but it was kinda lame the way he said it, but they all looked at him in amusement.
âSo no Pepper? Whereâs Nat?â Rhodey asked.
Maria blushed next to Stella and answered, âUhh, Nat is around here somewhere I think..â
Stella whispered in her ear as she teased, âYouâre buttons are a little undone.â
âShhh!â
âHeheh!â
Stella smirked, âWhere about the ladies, gentlemen?â
âUh, Potts got a company to run. She got busy.â Tony answered sipping his drink as Thor told them how Jane is about to win a prize soon.
It resulted in a âMy girlfriend is better than your girlfriendâ match. Rhodey, Maria and Stella shared knowing looks.
âYeah, yeah, they must be busy. Cause they hate seeing you guys getting together.â Maria teased before faking a cough, âTestosterone!â
Rhodey and Stella snickered walking away together with the top agent, leaving Thor to add, âJaneâs better.â
âHell yeah she is!â Screamed Melissa was across the room, randomly.
Stella found bouncing back over to the bar, grabbing herself some peanuts and dried cherries that they were serving. For whatever reason, she had a hard want for that specific snack tonight.
She chatted with Liane at the time, when she did. Stella noted how the blonde was trying to mandate her drinking for tonight, with a mix of snacks and drinks.
Or as Liane put it, âI donât want to embarrass myself in front of Ethan!â
âRelax! If he hasnât run away yet, then he wonât start now.â Stella replied munching on some strawberries that Liane handed her.
âUgh! I know that, but I want to build a life together with him someday and with all the shit going on? I want to make myself as happy and healthy as possibleâŠI want what you and Cap have.â
Thatâs when Stella smirked, âSay that again.â
âOh shut up.â Liane replied teasingly.
She was downing a small handful when somebody came behind her, noting it was a brunette man with tattoos, tone arms, and wearing black pants to match his red button down. He held a glass of scotch in his hand.
âHello ladies.â He greeted them with a smoking grin. âRyan Bass.â
Stella and Liane greeted him in response in kind manner.
âWould you ladies like to come with me and take a ride over to the dance floor?â He asked them.
Liane shook her head, âUh, no thanks.â
âWhy? The infamous Liane Felton has two left feet?â
Stella spoke up, âNo, because she be on the dance floor with her boyfriend.â
âI donât see him.â He said with a smug expression, looking around.
âTurn around.â Said a voice that clearly belonged to Ethan. Ryan looked over his shoulder, seeing a good looking man that could play freaking Prince Charming and use enchant your own with a smirk.
Liane particularly made heart eyes at him, smiling as she looped her arm around his neck. Liane smiled, âHi, sweetie! I missed you. This man was asking if I can dance with him.â
Ethan, who was always the sweetest man in the room, narrowed his eyes up and down to Ryan before saying, âNo.â He looked at his beautiful Liane with a softer expression, âYouâre dancing with me.â
With that, the couple left.
Ryan turned his gaze back to the other lady who stayed leaning against the bar, chewing on some peanuts and dried cherries, and said, âThat leaves you with me. Whatâs your name, beautiful?â
âEstella.â Stella replied giving him her name, staying quiet.
âOoh âEstellaâ, like the star?â
âOh, look, someone did a google search.â
Ryan stepped closer, âWhat? Donât like what you see?â
Stella sipped her drink and replied, âIâm into blondes. And youâre not my type.â
âThen who is?â
âHe is!â
She pointed to the blonde man, dressed in a navy blue button shirt, black jeans and an almost sharp expression. He walked over, placing a hand on her hip, almost a possessive look in his eyes as he looked at Ryan, clearly not impressed by his own appearance.
A look that said âStep away before you make yourself feel bad.â
Stella rests her head on his shoulder and replies, âIâve chatting with our friends, babe.â
âWell isnât that a good thing. Speaking of our friends, I think we have some upstairs waiting for us.â
âWho?â
He whispers something in her ear with a smirk as she blushed. Steve turned back to Ryan in a polite voice, âExcuse us.â
Not a second later, he pulled his girl closer and led her upstairs away from the idiot, who clearly didnât have a chance.
â
Stella returned downstairs to chat after 10 minutes, fixing her straps to the deep purple dress and wearing Steveâs brown jacket now. She promised Hill, sheâd give it her later on if the night got chilly enough. She found herself chatting with Cassandra outside on the balcony.
She has always taken a liking to the young blonde girl and thought she such a shy darling. She also figured that parties werenât her thing and decided to join her outside instead for a while.
Cassandra air out her feelings about tonight, her seeing visions in her dreams but didnât say too much, not wanting to waste time worrying Stella. Or maybe being called weird, even crazy for the thought. Especially if it might not be true. As always, Stella reassured her that everything will be okay, and it would be nice if she joined them inside for the after party.
Stella squeezed her shoulder comfortably and walked away.
When Stella returned inside for the after party, she sat on the couch, her back resting against the armrest as Steve rubbed her knee gently. She gave the jacket over to Maria, suddenly feeling warm and a bit uncomfortable wearing it, meanwhile Maria happily took it. Everyone was chatting, sharing another round of drinks and snacks, playing cards or board games on the coffee table.
As Stella looked around at the found family, she couldnât help but take a deep breather. Hell, she smiled!
Yes, she has been worried and stressed about the damage that has happened, to herself, to her teammates lately. And how she wished to get a better understanding of things. To have a safer environment to be honest.
To save the day and come home safer than before.
But looking around? As long as she had the right attitude and patience, the whole family close by, she knew everything will beâspoke too soon.
Within moments later of everyone trying to lift Thorâs hammer in a playful manner, a metal bot with a limping body and beating eyes appeared in front of everyone.
Thiagoâs Journey to Protect Marianna / Marvel Blurb
Pairing: Stevella
Established Dynamics: Thiago and Stella, Thiago and Marianna
Summary: Like the title says! Enjoy the fluff and layers behind Thiagoâs character
~~~
~~~~~~~
Itâs a chilly evening, and the Strange-Rogers family is gathered in the living room for a quiet family night. Steve and Estella are on the couch, Estella's head resting on Steveâs shoulder as they share a moment. Marianna, full of energy, is running around the room, giggling and trying to play games with everyone. Thiago, sitting in his usual chair, is watching her with a quiet sense of amusement, though his calm demeanor doesnât quite hide the warmth in his eyes whenever she runs by.
Thiago is still his usual, logical selfâslightly reserved, shy, and a bit serious, especially when it comes to things that matter. But today, there's something different about him. His gaze follows Marianna, whoâs now trying to climb into his lap. When she gets close, she stops and looks up at him with those big brown eyes, tilting her head as if to ask for something.
âTio, ride?â Marianna asks sweetly, her voice full of trust and hope.
Thiago hesitates for a momentâheâs not one for indulging in playful requests like his sister Estella mightâbut when he looks at Mariannaâs face, that sweet, innocent smile, itâs like something softens inside him. A small chuckle escapes him as he leans forward and scoops her up without another thought.
âAlright, princess.â He lifts her high into the air, watching her squeal with joy as she wraps her little arms around his neck. âHold on tight!â
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A Quiet Reflection: đż
As he holds Marianna, spinning her around in a playful circle, Thiagoâs thoughts start to drift. The chaos of the momentâthe laughter, the squealsâdoesnât escape his analytical mind, but he starts reflecting on how much Marianna has changed him in such a short time.
A couple of years ago, he would have been too serious for this. Too logical, too focused on other things. He used to be the big brother, always looking out for Estella and trying to keep things in check when she made rash decisions or acted impulsively (and honestly, he wasnât always the biggest fan of Steve). Estella, with her sweetness and sometimes silly nature, had always been the one who wore her heart on her sleeve, while Thiago stayed the more grounded, responsible one. Itâs probably why he had his doubts about Steve when Estella fell for him.
âYou sure about him?â Thiago had asked more than once, never really hiding his concern. He thought Steveâs carefree, âAmerican heroâ vibe was too distant from what Estella needed. It wasnât until Marianna was born that Thiago began to soften. Seeing the way Steve cared for his daughter, how he was gentle and affectionate with her, made Thiago realize something he hadn't before: Steve made Estella happy.
In those early days, Thiago was still wary, but it was hard to ignore how good of a father Steve was. Slowly, but surely, his guard came down, and he started to see Steve not just as the man who had âstolen his sisterâs heartâ but as a genuine, caring individual. But the real change came when Marianna was bornâThiagoâs world began to shift completely.
The Protective Uncle: đ§ž
As Thiago holds his niece, he looks down at her little face, beaming with joy. His heart swells with a mixture of pride and love he hadnât expected to feel. "Protect her at all costs." The thought hits him with absolute certainty. He had never promised anyone anything so fervently in his life, but with Marianna, it was different.
This tiny girlâhis princessâwas his responsibility now, too. He was determined to be her protector, just as he had always been Estellaâs. Like itâs always been with his nephews as well.
But with Marianna, it felt more urgent, more instinctive. She was more tiny than her brothers, Kendall and Bradley, were when they were born.
Maybe it was because she was so much more vulnerable, so pure in her innocence. The thought of her getting hurt or facing hardship made his chest tighten with a protective intensity he hadnât known he could feel.
~~~~~~~~~~
Thiagoâs Quiet Promise âš
Later that evening, after the family has settled in, and Estella and Steve are enjoying some quiet time together, Thiago finds a moment alone with Marianna in the living room. Sheâs snuggled up against him, watching the flickering light of the TV. Sheâs content, her small hand resting on his knee as she leans into him, her head nestled against his side.
Thiago glances down at her, unable to hide the softness in his expression. Heâs deep in thought, as always, but now thereâs a certain tenderness in his eyes. Heâs always been the âseriousâ one, the one who kept his emotions in check, but Marianna brought out a different side of him. A side he hadnât expected.
âTio?â Marianna asks quietly, her voice so small and trusting. She looks up at him, her face filled with innocent curiosity.
âYes, princess?â Thiago answers softly, running his fingers through her hair.
Marianna doesnât reply with words. Instead, she raises her little arms, and Thiago knows exactly what she wants. A snuggle. He chuckles softly, lifting her up into his lap, where she curls up like a small kitten, seeking comfort and security in the quiet space between them.
âIâm always here, you know.â Thiago says, his voice low and serious. Itâs more to himself than to her, but he knows she can sense the weight of his words.
He pulls her close, her little head resting on his chest as she relaxes in his arms. Thiagoâs heart softens further. He silently makes a vow in his mind: No one is going to hurt her. Iâll always protect her.
Even though he doesnât always show it outwardly, this momentâthis quiet promise he makes to himselfâdeepens his commitment to being the kind of uncle Marianna deserves. Even if it means changing himself a littleâbecoming more tender, more playful, more willing to show her that side of himselfâhe would do whatever it took.

The Accidental Third (That Was Always Meant to Be) đŠ | Marvel Blurb
Pairing: Stevella
Siblings mentioned: Bucky, Rebecca, Thiago and Leo
Children mentioned: Bradley & Kendall
â
Summary: How the 3rd Rogers came to be
â
When Steve and Stella were just dating, they used to talk about kids like they were stars theyâd pluck out of the sky someday. Steveâlonely, only-child Steveâalways said four. Maybe three, but definitely more than one. He used to watch Bucky wrangle his three younger siblings, and even if it looked like chaos, it looked like home.
He remembered how little Rebecca used to look at him like he was a second big brother (and how she giggled about her âcrushâ on scrawny Steve Rogers, back when his shirts hung too loose and his ears stuck out).
That kind of sibling bond? He wanted his own kids to have it.
Stella, on the other hand, already knew what it was like. The youngest of three, raised with brothers Thiego and Leonardo, plus a storm of cousins who treated her like the baby sister and the eldest daughter at onceâshe knew the joy and the mess of having a full family. She loved it. But she also knew the work of it.
So she made her stance clear: âTwo. Thatâs my max. A third if weâve really, really lost our minds.â
Steve whined, but in the way that made her laugh and roll her eyes. Truth was, as long as it was with her, heâd take whatever number of kids she gave him.
â~~â
Years later, they got their âmax.â
First Kendall, who they were sure was going to be a girl (Steve already had âDellaâ written down), but Stella insisted on the name Kendall, certain it would suit either way. When their son arrived, loud and bright and so Steve-coded in every way, they knew he was the perfect first.
Then Bradley, born in a whole different season of their lives. His name came from a lazy summer afternoon when Stella was rewatching Top Gun.
Steve thought it was ridiculous, but when she called the bump âBradleyâ one too many times, the name stuck. This second boy was just as rowdy, just as punch-first-ask-later as his brother, but with a flair for drama and the arts that made everyone laugh.
Bucky, watching the boys wrestle one day, just shook his head. âThing One and Thing Two,â he said. âMini Steveâs. God help us all.â
And that was it. Two boys with big smiles, clever minds, and louder personalities. Steve was content. Stella was at peace. They had their perfect little family.
She even teased him once, during a pillow fight with the boys, that maybe it was time he went and got âsnipped.â
Steve shot her a look while taking a flying hit from Kendallâs pillow, but she just laughed harder.
â~~â
And then came Valentineâs Day.
Theyâd gone out to dinner, dressed up and glowing like they were still twenty. At the table next to them sat a young couple with a baby boy and a baby girlâsiblings, sweet and small, a matching set. Stella thought it was adorable. Steve thought it was dangerous, the way his chest ached watching them.
He teased her about âone more.â She teased back that he was crazy. They both swore up and down they were done.
Then the hotel happened. Then the champagne. Then a night that left them both breathless and giddy.
Weeks later, Stella nearly fainted at work. She came home with trembling hands and test results that made her stare at the wall before she could even look at him.
âSteveâŠâ she started, quiet.
His heart froze, then raced. When she told him, he blinked once, twice, caught somewhere between shock and a joy he didnât want to say out loud in case it wasnât what she wanted.
âIf you donât want it,â he said carefully, âweâll go to the doctor. We donât have to do this again. Not if youâre not ready.â
Stella bit her lip, tears welling. She looked at him the way she always did when sheâd already made up her mind but wanted him to be the one to say it.
âBabeâŠâ
He smirked. Soft. Hopeful. âHoneyâŠâ
And then she laughed through her tears, whispering, âIf you want to, of courseââ
That was all it took. He kissed her like he was twenty again, like heâd just gotten his miracle, because he had. Because they both knew the truthâ
This third baby wasnât an accident. She was inevitable.
â~~â
Ahh I told ya I had more in store. And thank you ChatGPT for putting my ideas in perspective đ
Pairings: Mia x Nikolai, Ethan x Liane, Jeremy x Cole
Extra Characters: May Parker, The Twins (Darlene & Margot), Alexander, Joshua, Bella
â idk where I am going with this but stick with me haha
Summary: Sometimes finding old stuff in the winter bring back memories among other stuff
â
Fighter-Town, Maine, there things were oftentimes bearable in the sense, but always a bit magical, so it reminded the folks who lived there for hope.
One winter afternoon in Maine, within the cozy apartment of Amelia and Nikolai, stood doing some reorganizing.
Yes, she couldâve done it any other day, but for whatever reason she had some time on her hands to do so.
Nikolai, Jeremy and Ethan were out with most of the kids today.
Joshua and Bella were at the library studying.
So that left her with just the twins, Margot and Darlene.
Andâ
âMia where do I put this?!â
âYou seriously need to ask?!â
Right.
With Liane and Cole.
Cole had closed his shop today to head over for some hot chocolate and Liane wanted to get some work done without any interruptions.
So they came to Ameliaâs home, of all places.
Not that she was complaining about the extra help.
Cole was bouncing Margot in his arms as he used his magic to organize the clutter around the room.
Liane decided to carry around a few boxes and being careful, not to trip over Darleneâs toys.
Last she did that, Darlene screamed as her pink stack of block, that she made into a castle, was knocked over.
Cole smirked at Lianeâs panic at trying to hush the 2 year old girl and fix the mess.
âAnd how did you raise Bella again?â Cole remarked as Margot coo at the magic coming from her uncleâs fingers.
âWith the grace and composure of a fairy.â Liane replied gesturing to herself. âNow, shut up, you got the calmer twin.â
âYeah, sure. But really, how?â
âWell, Bella did not require too much really, she didnt fuss like other kids. She was only vocal when she needed actual help.â
âHuh. You sure, you were raising a child?â
Amalia, who was carrying the box of old books, walked in to answer, âTechnically they are both calm. But Dar is a bit more picky about her things.â
âHow are they supposed to be related to you?â Cole joked, âI mean I know, how, they are. But youâre not picky.â
âBut their father is. I tried once to tailor Nikolaiâs old hat, and he was picky about the feather. He wanted it green to match his tie, and not black.â
âWell the man was a former pirate once upon a time.â Liane added. âWell, actually he was a bandit, who was friends with a pirate.â
Rochelleâs wife, Princess Michelle, had former pirate training, when she befriended Nikolai and Jeremy.
Thatâs the only reason Liane knows about this side of the tale.
âI married the actual pirate so, I won.â Cole said with a cheeky grin as Margot looked up at him smiling.
âMe know!â Margot replied, giggling.
âI know! Crazy, right? Uncle Cole is fill of surprises.â
âOoo! Swow me!â
Cole chuckled, using his fingers to magically whip up a small flower and place it in Margotâs hands.
Since the day she was born, Margot was more likely to crawl and nuzzle into Coleâs arms instead of everyoneâs elseâs. Darlene was similar in that fashion, but she enjoyed tea parties with her auntie Rochelle or Liane more.
Then again, they are only 2 years old, so they can change preferences soon enough.
Amelia sat down on the couch, as the box was placed a few feet away Darlene, who was currently trying to recover the mess of her block castle.
Liane was helping Darlene, as she set another box down next to the coffee table. Darlene sat in Lianeâs lap, as they picked out which dolls to play with for the castle party.
The blonde woman glance at box and asked, âWhat are in these anyway?â Liane reached over to open the lids and cocked her head to the side, âI just see old dresses, framed paintings andâŠis that fine china?! Whose did this belong to?â
âMy mother.â Amelia replied with a softer tone as she explained, âWhen things washed over from our land to the town..and some of it was my motherâs stuffâŠâ
âOohâŠâ Liane responded giving her a sympathetic smile. âIâm sorry, Mia. I heard what happened when sheâŠâ She paused covering Darleneâs ears and said, âDied.â
â
Years ago, as the story was told, May passed away one beautiful morning, when Amelia brought Nikolai to meet her mother. They were newly engaged.
But during a brief battle, The Evil King, Alexanderâs guards found the cottage in means to ruin the coupleâs happy day, as an arrow accidentally struck May in the chest.
That morning was spent looking for a quick cure but there was no luck.
As May had one request to see their wedding dayâŠ
So Nikolai and Amelia had a small yet intimate makeshift wedding in the garden of Mayâs home. Underneath a flower arch, the two wed as Mayâs last sight was the couple exchanging their vows.
The older woman died mere minutes after.
But she went out with a smile on her face.
â
Cole glanced over and blinked, âHow did you know?â
âIâm not blind to events, oh magical man.â Liane answered mocking him. âPlus Iâm a fairy..we know things.â
âRight. Fairy thing. Yet, you knock over things when you fly.â
âIâ! Only when itâs windy!â
âAnd when itâs not?â
ââŠI get pollen in my eye?â
âSeriously?â
âI worked a long shift last night, cut me some slack on the comeback!â
âAt least you fly better than you driveâŠâ
âI outtaâ!â
âGuys!â Amelia tried to stop and huffed, slumping back into the couch. âRelax! Itâs not a big deal, but seriously LiaâŠyouâre not the best at driving.â
âI drive perfectly!â Liane defended herself and smiled, as Darlene looked up at her auntie. âItâs true. You know I drive well. I even got you a car seat.â
The twins talked often, one more than the other, as they tended to not say the words correctly yet.
But they were getting there.
Their mother was incredibly proud of them for it.
Margot, who was put down by Cole, toddled over to the box a few feet away from her sister. She used her chubby little hands as she lifted the lid to reveal books.
Childrenâs books, note books and other novelty items.
Mostly brown, olive greens, along with different colors in the mix.
Toys were stuffed inside and pillows too.
It was a tiny mess but you can see whatâs inside.
She pulled out a stuffed elephant and coo at it cocking her head to the side.
âMine?â She asked.
Amelia looked over at her daughter, surprised she moved around the room within a matter of seconds, to open the box with ease.
She cocked her head to the side in confusion and wonder.
Similar to her daughter.
Thatâs when it started to make sense what Margot was holding.
It was Ameliaâs old stuffed white elephant with a bow tie from when she was a child.
âNo, baby, thatâs mamaâs,â Amelia informed with a chuckle. âYou like it?â
âYes!â Margot exclaimed in a toothy grin hugging the elephant close.
âYou want it?â
âYes pwease!â
That cause Darlene to snap her head up from her own toys as she pushed herself out of Lianeâs arms and toddled over to the box herself.
She looked around, shoving items that didnât caught her attention yet, as her eye landed on the stuffed ballerina.
Well it was a bunny with a tutu.
She grabbed it and marveled at the toys, toddler over to show her auntie before going back to see what else she can find.
And she found something alrightâŠ

The train station was filed with people of all different nationalities, shapes and forms, all heading home for the holiday season.
It was pretty fabulous, if you asked anyone.
Waiting in line for tickets were a lovely pair.
Ethan and Liane.
The two have been dating for a while now, and this year, Liane was bringing her boyfriend home for Christmas.
Yes, she was excited since Thanksgiving was spent with Ethanâs family, so it only made sense for Ethan to spent Christmas with hers, but she was just nervous on making a good impression.
It wasnât that Liane was utterly devastated and embarrassed by her family, she loved them. But, sometimes her father Jason, especially lately, can be a wellâŠgoofy and old fashioned.
Ethan was excited to spent time with them, especially since it means he got to get away from his own family for a few days.
Liane chuckled and awkwardly excused herself to make a phone call. Ethan nodded heading to get the tickets and their seat number.
Jason, was making snow angels at home in the snow and singing a tune, when he sat up feeling his butt vibrate.
Oh! It was his cell phone.
And he smiled seeing the caller ID.
âSweet pea!â He greeted her, standing up from the snow and walking down the path.
Liane groaned and smiled over the small gesture as she answered, âHi, dadâŠand no nicknames. I am a young adult now..sorta.â
âSure, sure, whatever you say. Even though I still have your Christmas Barbieâs booksâŠâ
âDad!â
âSorry! How are you doing? Almost here?â
âNo, no, daddy, we havenât boarded the train yet. Iâm actually calling to tell ya about this holiday season. You know how I am bringing Ethan over, right?â
Jason smiled. He knew about Ethan and event met his parents, when their kids were in high school.
Nice boy, he liked him.
âYeah, doll, I know. What about him?â Jason asked.
Liane answer quietly, âWell, I wanna make a good impression and show that I am more than my looks. So what I am trying to say, is donât embarrass us..I wanna give Ethan a great Christmas!â
âOf course! Donât worry, I got this.â
Liane then heard a loud bang and gasped, âDaddy are you alright?!â
âOwâŠyup.â Jason answered, âI slipped on the ice..but this is gonna be a Christmas he will never forgot.â
âYup..thatâs what Iâm afraid ofâŠâ
âWhat?â
âNothing! Bye!â
Before Liane close the phone call, Jason asked if she was wearing the homemade scarf he made for it. It was chilly and falling layers of snow, he wanted her to be protected.
Liane glanced down at her scarf and gave a half smile, telling him that she swears it every time she gets.
SometimesâŠ
It wasnât exactly her style, but it was her favorite colors.
â
She had a boat filled of butterflies in her belly, short of breath and legs of jelly.
It feels like she was floating 10 feet off the ground.
All Liane asked was for one big favor, that her dad was on his best behavior when she saw the two of them around.
On the train ride, Liane was curled on the seat next to Ethan as they slept, read and chatted about whatever was on their mind. They awkwardly blushed and laughed when they found themselves unexpectedly cuddling on the bench.
Ethan pressed a little kiss on her forehead, as she nuzzle her face in his neck.
Liane talked about how her big brothers, might come over at some point.
Tony with his girlfriend Pepper and son, Rei.
Louis with his wife Laurel and their son Joey as well.
Ethan just joked how she was the only girl in the family, as she chuckled shrugging.
Once the train arrived, Liane looked out the window to see her dad, Jason, dressed in a nice outfit and what she assumed was a black SUV, as she gasped. Her smiled dropped slightly to see it was one of his trucks instead.
She get it, with the snow, a truck was sometimes better. But still, she thought her dad got a fancy new car for the occasion.
Jason greeted them both, getting their bags, doing his best to stuff their bags and suitcases in the back perfectly. Ethan helped too.
Liane covered her eyes watching the disaster, as the truck bust open as a cartoon and a few items clothing burst out. Sheâs pretty sure she saw a pair of jeans fall onto Ethanâs head as she chuckled.
âOh jeez..â Liane utterly shook, removing the jeans off his head.
They fixed everything and went off to the house.
Ethan sat in the back, as Lians was in the passenger seat while Jason drove them that night.
Jason spoke up at some point and joked, âSo Ethan, what are your intentions with my daughter?â
âDad!â Liane whined covering her face and glanced over at Ethan, âDonât answer.â
Ethan smirked and winked answering anyway, âI plan to treat her like a queen, sir. Maybe rock her in my arms on the snowy nights. Who knows?â
He teased as Liane blushed.
Jasonâs eyes widened, chuckling as he shook his head fondly, âPaws where I can see them, boy.â
âYes, sir.â Ethan replied giving him a two finger salute. âIs it true that you and my parents know each other?â
âYup! I know Charles and Erik, since you two were in high school. When I found you, you guys were dating, I was in shock, but youâre a good kid.â
âThanks sir. You see Lia, Iâm a great guy!â
Liane sighed and about to say something else, when she saw the house was pitch black, no lights or anything on. She was confused, thinking her dad forgot to decorate.
Only for her face to turn a gasping shade of red once Jason handed Ethan a remote control to turn on the lights.
Ethan looked amused, as he gasped seeing the front of the house light up in hundreds of thousands of decorative Christmas signs and lights.
A balloon Santa upfront, reindeer, snowman on front yard, and lights bouncing on any direction to create a dazzling over the top silhouette of the house.
And on the very top of the house in dazzling colors, in big fat letters with a Santa Claus waving at them with a sign that said âWELCOME ETHANâ.
Liane gasped and coveted her face, shaking her head.
She wasnât mad, but damn it was embarrassing loud, even for her.
Ethan just jaw dropped and grinned chuckling, âAnd I thought my sister went crazy on the holiday season.â
âYou hate it, donât ya?â Liane asked unsure if the grin was for gratefulness or embarrassment. âOh gosh..â
âNo, no, I like it. No one ever did this for me before.â
Liane sighed in relief.
Maybe her dad was on her side after all?
The rest of the evening went rather well, for the most part. Ethan and Liane shared hot coco, watched a movie together, had some alone time in her childhood bedroom and she showed him some of her childhood photos.
However, her dad sometimes came in to check up on them in the most intimate moments. As Liane blushed and polite threatening him to get out, as Ethan covered his face with a pillow.
Other times, Jason even pulled the classic parent move, showcasing embarrassing baby pictures of Liane with her brothers to Ethan.
Or he took photos of them to show later.
Ethan wasnât really upset by any of this.
If anything, despite the lack of behavioral changes in his family, he didnât oftentimes get this. His family was always busy, even when it was the holiday season.
His step father, Charles, ran a whole school for mutants, for crying out loud.
And his father, Erik, was always traveling.
His siblings were doing their own things.
So having a cozy yet enjoyable evening was a delight.
â
At some point, Tony and Louis arrived with their families creating a bit more chaos. Some of their friends, like Petra, Ji-Hoon, Rick and Amber, shaked up the house too.
Liane was enjoying herself, but there was small pit in her stomach, that felt a twinge of overwhelming energy.
Her own mind had a tendДncy to frustrate her
Seems that it humiliate her
Every single time it get the chance
Is it any wonder that I'm so frantic
What with all the crazy antics
Ruining all her chances for romance?
She don't expect her family to become suddenly dignified
But could they just try to prove that were are on my side?
Or maybe it was all in her head?
Her brothers, Tony and Louis, were teasing, poking fun at their relationship and asking questions that might as well ruin her chances for romance.
Even thought it was all fun and games at the end of the day.
She headed outside for some fresh air and used her abilities to warm herself up, as her eye filtered purple. She glanced up hearing footsteps and sigehd seeing it was her dad.
âWow!â Jason said greeting her and shivering at the cold breeze, âThat Ethan sure is something, you really know how to pick them, Muffin.â
âDad, can I have a moment alone..?â Liane said looking over her shoulder. âItâs obvious that I came outside to be alone.â
âIs everything alright, Muffin?â
âIâm fine, I am fine, itâs justâŠall of this, Iâm way over my head. And you going a little crazy with trying to make me look good isnât helping!â
âDoll, Iâm not doing anything wrong here.â
âI know youâre not butâthis is the first guy I brought home for the holidays and I like it and now the guys areâI justâŠâ
Lianeâs eyes flared up purple and huffed, as Jason realized it was his cue to leave her alone for a moment. He nodded saying that heâll be in the kitchen if he needs her for something.
Louis, was sitting near the windows and saw what happened, taking a deep breather before seeing his sister.
âYouâre really pushing your buttons here, sis.â Louis said, leaning against the doorway.
âWhat areâyou donât know what youâre talking about..â Liane protested.
âWith dad and us..â
âYou guys are embarrassing me. And dad is wellâŠâ
âItâs not easy for him either, you know that?â
Liane scoffed, âWhat are you talking about? He seems fine to me.â
âGosh, youâre so dense.â Louis uttered, âInstead of dad crying and being miserable that mom isnât here, heâs putting his efforts to make us feel good. Remember that.â
âButâŠâ
âBut nothing! Dad has been doing his best and yeah, sure, weâre embarrassing sometimes, but weâre family. Ethanâs family ainât normal either.â
Louisâs wife, Laurel, called, âHoney! Rei and Joey are fighting again! Come help!â
âComing!â Louis called back and looked at his sister, âI think we got lucky, Lia.â
Liane watched her brother head back inside and she decided to take a small walk to clear her head.
Cause deep down her brother was right.
As she walked, she wrapped the scarf around her neck and played with the snow that kicked her feet. She sighed and hummed a little tune.
She wasnât sure why she had so many expectations and ground rules for this holiday season.
Maybe itâs because she has a boyfriend now?
Maybe itâs cause she seen her brothers with a family and she wanted that too?
Hell! Her dad, Jason, and mother, Elizabeth, had this great love story about how they found each other time and time again.
How her mother was this genuine genius and her father a skilled agent.
That her dad retried while her mother kept working for them.
And that Jasonâs great love story is Elizabeth.
Correction, Elizabeth Stark was his big break!
That despite all the silly and embarrassing stuff, the challenges that they faced, they still loved each other.
Liane chuckled dryly, remembering how her father used to walk into the kitchen on Christmas Day with music playing and a silly hat, while dressed in PJs dancing with her mother in the kitchen.
And with her mother gone these past few years, her dad spent so many days of tears, drinking and being alone in his own thought.
However, he decided to put her best foot forward, wipe away those tears and stop the drinking when no one was around, to give them the best Christmas he could muster.
Jason has been the foundation for the family, despite the heartbreaking loss, and he was still here.
âI should apologize to him, afterâŠhe still fills my life with laughter, no doubt about heâs been so good to us.â Liane hummed her thoughts out loud.
She looked down at her scarf seeing a tag at the bottom saying âMade With Love. Dad.â
She smiled teary eyed and glanced over her shoulder, running back inside the house.
â
When Liane raced into the house, she was greeted with the smell of hot coco, kids playing in the hallway, a movie showcased in the living room and her friends surrounding the area.
She stepped into the kitchen to find Ethan, Louis and her father in the midst of filling up the popcorn machine up to the top.
They had to make enough popcorn for everyone in the household.
She lean against the doorway teary eye as she watched them chat about whateve nonsense while helping each other out.
She shouldnât have been stressing, she just needed a little reminded that she got luckyâŠ
Ethan looked up seeing his girlfriend and greeted her, âLia! Just in time, weâre making popcorn.â
âI can see that.â Liane response smiling and wrap an arm around him, âIt smells good in here.â
âI was worried when Louis said you went for a walk.â
Liane glanced over at her brother, who met her gaze and answered, âYeah, I just needed to clear my head.â
Louis nodded knowingly and cleared his throat, âUm! Iâll be back, Ethan, buddy, why donât you help me get the present from the back of my car.â
âBut I was gonnaââ Ethan spoke up.
âThe popcorn isnât ready yet.â
âButâ!â
Louis shoved him out the room. Liane smiled and took a breath, stepping over to her dad awkwardly and gently watched him.
She saw the difference in his eyes this year.
Behind the laughter, smiles and comments, that he had made for everyone, he was still silently hurting.
And she was a fool to not see that his enthusiasm was his way of expressing his feelings about everything. That her father was doing his best to not worry or overwhelm himself with the discomfort he felt inside.
Her mother, Elizabeth, didnât die like any other woman.
She went missing in action, and proceeded to be claimed as dead by the small bit of evidence they found.
Yet, there was still hope deep within the mystery that she was still alive.
Better yet, that her spirit lived within this house.
And Jason did his best to cherish it.
Liane felt guilty for not giving him a chance, when he clearly already did.
Louis was right, they got lucky.
Not just with a great mother, but an amazing father too.
âUh, daddy, Iâm sorryâŠâ Liane spoke quietly as she explained. âI-I shouldnât have pushed you away or spoke to you like thatâŠI was just frustrated and exhausted and wellâŠI got embarrassed by our family..I had this exception and wanted to set my standards high for this familyâŠbut I was wrong.â
Jason stoped what he was doing to listens and hummed, gesturing for her to continue.
âIâm not perfect! I get overwhelmed easily, I get frustrated easily and sometimes I just loose my temperâŠand with Ethan, he see that and he still loves me.â Liane continued and sniffled, âAnd I wanted to show him this absolutely beautiful picture of a woman, despite her flawsâŠbut I realized that I was putting expectations on you tooâŠthat I wanted to show me that my family is amazing! And wellâŠâ
âYou lost sight of this messy side of your life..â Jason utter softly and shrugged waving it off, âItâs ok, muffin, I went overboard anywayâŠand I apologize if I embarrassed you in any way.â
âNo! No, thatâs just it!â Liane exclaiming smiling a bit, âYou didnât embarrass me, where they werenât laughing at me, but laughing with me, I guess. Ethan loved it..and I was too dumb to see the effort you made here. Iâm sorryâŠâ
âYouâre not dumb, sweetheart. You just got too caught up in your head.â
Liane couldnât help herself anymore and wrap her around her dad in a hug, mumbling apologies as she explained her side of the story.
There wasnât much else Jason could say, as he just listened and nodded.
Honestly, he was just tired and needed a nap.
But this hug was worth it.
âThank you, dad.â She whispered softly.
Jason just kissed her forehead and whispered back, âNo problem, kiddo.â

Note: yes new fc for Eva cuz why not? đ
â
The crisp fall air and the chill breeze makes for a pleasant evening on the road back to The X-Manison.
Usually Logan wouldnât arrive until after Halloween, that way he was there for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but he decided he had nothing planned for the week. He might as well take a drive to see his friends and family, even the class of students that filled the halls of Charles home.
Hopefully he could avoid seeing him and Erik bickering in the hallway for the 10th time this year.
Once he arrived at the driveway, he removed his helmet from chin strap and hung it over the head of the motorcycle. It was pretty freaking late, only the sound of animals in the background and an occasional noise popped out of the windows before he went inside.
When Logan entered, he caught wind of bikes, jackets and items at the entrance. Some of people he recognized like Petra, Cole and Jean. Even Kittyâs sweater was hung on the wall. Some bikes he had no idea who they belonged to.
He noticed how there wasnât much noise or chatter coming from students and teachers, such as videos games and movies in the living room. So he checked the time.
Midnight? Logan couldâve sworn it was only 10:30pm. He did stop at a bar to grab a burger and made a pit stop for water.
He wouldâve gotten an extra beer for the road but he knew Storm would scold him for it later.
Speaking of which, he was greeted by Storm in a sliver colored robe and her long white hair in a ponytail. She wrapped her arms around him as he returned the gesture and smiled, hugged her.
âLogan. I didnât expect to see you here this late.â She said with a smile.
âOh, well, I was just driving through and decided to spend the night.â He replies casually.
âThe hotels were too expensive?â
âSomething like that. Did I wake you?â
âYes.â
ââŠsorry, Ro. Go back to sleep, Iâll just grab the couch.â
Storm looked at him up and down, as if contemplating leaving him alone on the couch. She shook her head, âNonsense. Your room is still here waiting for you.â
He gave her a soft smile, âAnd here I thought you rented out my room to a new student.â
âNo, no, we made it clear that everyone gets their own space here. Unless they decide otherwise. But yes, we have two new students, young children, so I hope you donât make too much noise and let them sleep.â
âSure. I can respect that.â
As they walked through the X-Manison past the living room, Logan stopped short his nose caught a sniff coconut from inside the kitchen.
He was confused and made him take two steps back to look at them once. He assumed everyone was most likely asleep or in the living room doing nothing before knocking out cold.
Instead he was a new girl in the kitchen making herself some toast.
âUh, when you said two new students, I thought you had mentioned they were kids?â Logan spoke to Storm, as his eyes remained trained on the girl, as he kept his distance from afar.
Her olive yet rich tan skin. Her dark brown hair was pressed down and parted down the middle. Almost fluffy, like it wasnât blow dried correctly. Her ears were decorated with hoop earrings. She was wearing a purple or was it burgundy long sleeve shirt, with a pair of navy blue leggings.
She was wearing a pair of white socks too.
That was no child.
That was a beautiful woman who smelled like coconut!
Storm whipped around realizing Logan wasnât following her, once she heard his question and paced over to where he stood. She facepalmed and gave a brief annoyed expression.
âNo.â Storm clarified. âI mean, yes, youâre correct. And she is not a student, well, she is an adult student who is learning her abilities. Like you once were.â
âCharles says I still am one.â Logan uttered knowingly at The Professor telling him no matter how old or young he gets, he still a student in many ways.
âWe all are his students. But also the teachers for the younger class. The young woman you see before you is one of them.â
Logan nods then smirked, âWhatâs her name?â
âEvangeline. And I believe you should rest before you make any further decisions.â Storm told him.
Logan placed a hand on his chest in mock hurt and replied, âMe? I was just going to say hi.â
âMhm, sure. Good night, Logan.â She responded walking away shaking her head fondly and heading towards her room.
When he was sure Storm was gone, Logan carefully pulled himself towards the kitchen only to stop short once more seeing the young womanâEvangelineâpausing to use her abilities.
Her fingers twirled and moved in a wave sorta direction as the water in front of danced like a song was being poured into the glass. She took a bite of her toast and chuckled to herself, assumed as she hummed a tune.
As she turned around to unplug the toaster from the wall, she let out a startled voice and gasped loudly at seeing him.
Logan stood there with a soft smile and brown leather jacket as he walked in. She awkwardly pulling out the cable from the wall and disconnected the toaster completely.
âHi.â He said, removing his jacket to place it over the chair. He gave her an apologetic look, âSorry if I scared ya.â
She covered face briefly and quickly steady herself. She gestured a dismissive hand stopping the waterâs flow as well.
âUh, hey.â She smiled, âAnd no, itâs okay..Itâs just I did not think anyone was up this late.â
âWhat are you doing up?â He asked taking a seat in the chair nearby the counter.
She took another bite of her bite and shrugged, âI could ask you same thing,âŠ?â
âLogan, coconut.â He answered with a smile, as his senses still got her smell from earlier. He assumed it was some perfume or something.
She chuckled ignoring the nickname for a moment, and responded, âLogan? Nice name. Iâm Evangeline, but you can all me Eva, if you like.â
âEva. Well, Eva, you and me got a few hours to kill before the kids are up.â
âI donât plan on staying up until 3am.â
He hummed, âIâll take one. Pass me a beer?â
âSure.â She replied with a nods and turned around to look for one in the fridge.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far awayâŠ
There lived noble, wisely chosen knights who wielded powers beyond one's own imagination for good and others who did the complete opposite with similar abilities at their respective disposal.
In this category, they called themselves Sith as the good called themselves Jedi.
Jedi were considered knights who stood with rules, kindness, loyalty and to keep respectful order among the galactic forces, as they explored the depths of the world to help others who canât themselves.
One of those vast Jedi Knights went by the name Obi Wan.
General Obi Wan Kenobi.
Aside from his skills, his wit, and his sense of duty to protect others around him, he also possessed a kindness towards the ones he deemed deserved it.
Such as his student, who most certainly gives him grey hairs, Anakin Skywalker. Furthermore, in the same breath, was Anakinâs padawan, Ashoka Tano.
Due to the galaxy being one of large stars and planets full of creatures, human, clone and alien alike, lived within the same orbits of the Jedi, they oftentimes visited to help out.
One of those places being the beautiful planet of Naboo.
A small yet lush area within the outer rim, known for its beautiful landscape such as hills, lakes, villages and towns filled with many mountain tops over the past decade. It held an old school feel with a peaceful yet futuristic architecture to the present day.
Nalaâs role in negotiations for the throne was to maintain the home of their beloved friends and relatives who lived there in their shared values.
In simple terms, if Nala wasnât playing decoy with the other members of the group, she was going around making sure things seemed normal enough.
Sometimes Padmeâs droid, who she traded with Anakin as a gift, C-3PO, would follow Nala around the clock making sure she did what was done. As it turns out, Nala didnât always have the best concept of time when her mind stays hyper focused on something.
Even if Nala found it annoying, the droid was helpful to a certain extent.
One of the places Nala frequently visited during her week, if it wasnât raining or the weather was biting cold, was the garden centerâŠ
Little did Nala know that in the same moment she was watering flowers on that cloudy day that a certain man with a beard and brown robe was standing upon the bridge of the garden watching her.
They were watering flowers as they bent down to place the pail on the ground and while looking around the garden, Obi Wan saw their facial features.
A woman.
She looked very lovely in his eyes.
But then again Obi Wan believed that the women and men in Naboo were all lovely people. Maybe that was it? He should phrase it like this instead of saying she was beautiful.
When Nala turned around a couple inches to the right, she was almost startled by him. Not that he was standing close enough to scare, but he was just causally leaning against the bridge that overlooked the garden.
On days like this, cloudy or otherwise gloomy ones, not many people have the desire to come out and check on the planets. So seeing him was a great surprise.
She narrowed her gaze leaning forwards as she caught sight of who it was. She smiled.
General Kenobi.
If Nala remembered correctly, they met before, as she was fashioned one day as Padmeâs decoys underneath tons of makeup and a large dress. She remembered how he behaved like a gentleman bowing before offering her a hand to step off the throne she sat in.
However he probably didnât recognize her without the costume she wore.
And she was right.
As Obi Wan Kenobi watched her there, he didnât recognize the women in makeup but the woman in gentle yet rich fashion and looking utterly beautiful in the garden.
Or maybe he has seen her before but couldnât remember the exact time.
Nonetheless it was a sight he didnât wish to walk away from.
Obi-Wan raised a hand in greeting, almost cautiously.
Nala, caught in the act of setting her pail aside, lifted her hand back to him with a little grin â and in her haste, nearly tipped over a tall ceramic planter.
She gasped, reaching for it, but before her hands could touch it the pot stilled⊠hanging in the air.
The Force.
Slowly, it lowered into place, steady once again. When she looked up, Obi-Wan was smiling at her from the bridge, two fingers raised in a small, almost secretive gesture.
Her cheeks warmed.
She muttered a quiet, âThank you.â
âOf course,â he replied.
His voice was even, but there was a softness there â a warmth that lingered longer than it should.
Their eyes lingered on each other longer than strangers should.
It was only a wave, only a smile, only a breath in a cloudy garden.
But it was also the beginning.
Nala couldnât have explained why her heart beat faster when his eyes met hers across the garden. She only knew she had never looked at anyone else the same way again.
For all the rules he lived by, Obi-Wan had never believed in such things as destiny or love at first sight.
Until now.

The Core: She is the antithesis of her brotherâwhile Alexander chases legacy, Daisy preserves the moment. Sheâs like the soft heartbeat of the Hamilton household. The warmth in the corner of the candlelit room. The woman who tries to pause when the world runs.
Present and Past > Future: She doesnât see the world in bullet points and ambition. She sees it in stolen moments, in petals falling in spring, and the sound of quills scratching paper. She thinks the present is a giftânot something to waste on wars or power plays.
She doesnât ask for much, but she gets a lot in return, where some people may call her self centered or selfish for doing so.
The garden is a metaphor. She knows the name of every flower in bloom at her window and collects dried petals in her notebooks, pressing them between pages of stories sheâll never show anyone.
Daisy carries a warm, wittiness to her own tongue, being strangely wonderful. She can shut down Alexanderâs rants with one well-placed sarcastic quip. Sheâs not loudâbut sheâs piercing.
Her Backstory â đ
Daisy Theodosia Hamilton was never one to chase the spotlight. She didnât need the world hanging on her every word or watching her like she was some perfect piece of cake, prettied up for gossip and praise. She simply wanted to exist in peaceâpresent, cared for, and appreciated by those who allowed her to express her creativity freely and without judgment.
She was born and raised on a small, warm island in the Caribbean, a place full of wanderersâpeople searching for food, love, purpose, or something they could call their own. Her father, James, was an unsuccessful Scottish merchant; her mother, Rachel, had French roots and deep ties to the island. Daisy grew up alongside her two older brothers: Alexander and Henryâboth strong-willed, compassionate, but guided by different values.
When their parents passed unexpectedly, Daisy and her brothers were taken in by a cousin, Peter, who gave them a home and freedom to stay as they wished. But that safety shattered when Peter took his own life, and the children were left to fend for themselves. Henry, being the eldest, stepped into a guardian role. He worked tirelessly to keep them afloat, treating Daisy and Alexander not just as siblings, but as his shared responsibility and purpose.
Eventually, Henry left the island in search of greater opportunities in New York City, pursuing studies in law and science and fighting his way toward a better life. Alexander began writing, bargaining, borrowing, even stealing to survive.
But Daisy?
She remained in her own quiet lane. She found work where she couldâbabysitting, cleaning homes, writing columns for the local paper, and letting kindness be her currency. It wasnât easy. The weight of itâemotionally, mentally, and physicallyâtook its toll. She often buried her anxieties, pushing them down even as they threatened to bubble back up. But still, she kept going.
One day, the older woman she worked for, Mrs. Astor, offered her an unexpected opportunity: a friend in the States was looking for someone trustworthy to help around his home. He owned a publishing company and needed extra hands in the house.
Mrs. Astor said Daisy would be perfect for the jobâif she was interested. Daisy said yes. She packed her few belongings, took the money Astor kindly offered her, and after a long voyage, she arrived in New York City.
There, she moved into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Whitneyârespectable, kind, and warmhearted.
They took Daisy in not just as help, but almost like a guest. She had her own room. She was given food, fresh clothes, books to read, and space to rest. She worked daily helping around the houseâdoing the laundry of their daughters Marie and Clara, assisting Mrs. Whitney in the kitchen, and tending the garden alongside her.
But most special of all? In the quiet moments, Daisy sketched. She doodled in her room, capturing scenes from stories she loved and characters that danced in her mind.
One of her favorite creations was a princess losing her slipper on the stairsâher own reimagining of the Cinderella tale that had enchanted her since girlhood. Though she had never submitted those illustrations anywhere, they were precious to her.
And one day, they would make their way into the worldâwith a little help from two familiar names: Eliza Schuyler and Aaron Burr.

Romantic Interest â đ
Aaron Burr (sir!) â Husband & father to their daughter
â Sheâs the stillness to his restraint. Burr is controlled, carefulâand Daisy gets it. She doesnât pressure him to speak or act. She just exists beside him in a way that calms his storm.
â Burr, in turn, finds her presence⊠grounding. She doesnât try to fix or change him, and thatâs what makes him soft for her.
Their love story is quiet, but deep. No grand public declarations, just:
- A lingering glance during a debate.
- A poem tucked into his coat.
- A kiss in the darkened corner of a ballroom.
- A ribbon tied around her hair he brought.
- A set of chairs resting in the living room.
- A note being written and passed onto the other in war.
- A hand gently resting on a shoulder.
- But most importantly, chatter in the wind while the other tries to hush the clouds.
đ Fun Fact: Daisy & Aaron Are Already Married?! đ
Yepâyou heard that right. By the middle of Act I, Daisy and Aaron Burr are already husband and wife. Their love story quietly blooms behind the chaos of revolution and shifting loyalties, and itâs not until âStay Alive,â âThe Ten Duel Commandments,â and the rise of World War I that the audience truly realizes:
Theyâve tied the knot. đ
And not just thatâtheyâre now parents, as revealed sweetly in âDear Theodosia.â đ„č
But letâs rewind a bitâŠ
âïž A Secret Wedding Under Wartime Skies
Following the grandeur of Alexander and Elizaâs wedding, Daisy and Aaron chose something much quieterâintimate, even. Their ceremony was small, tucked away from public eyes, set during the height of war. No fanfare. Just quiet vows, shared smiles, and the comfort of knowing theyâd chosen each other in the middle of it all.
Before it was common knowledge, not even the other revolutionaries knew.
đ John Laurens, always quick to stir the pot, teases Burr about a mysterious love in his life.
đ§ Alexander, ever curious, pokes aroundâuntil whispers reach him that Burrâs secret lover is⊠his sister.
And his reaction?
âOh shit.â đ€Ż
But make no mistakeâAlex isnât mad. Not even close.
Because if anyone were to love Daisy the right wayâŠ
heâs actually relieved itâs Burr. đđ
Meanwhile Henry, who tends to be the most distant sibling, was drinking that night and almost spit out of his drink at the news about his sister in romantic relations with Burr. But then again, Henry was having law and secret romantic relations with Jefferson, so who was he to judge? đ
đ· Letters Between Wars â A Daisy x Burr Moment
It was during the long stretch of warâbetween the chaos of Stay Alive and The Ten Duel Commandmentsâthat Daisy found herself three months pregnant, quietly carrying a secret that glowed inside her like the softest lantern light. With quill in one hand and her favorite little paintbrush in the other (because she was always extra like that đ đŒ), she sat by the window one morning and wrote to Aaron.
âMy dear, I know I shouldâve said this before in my previous letter, however I recently found out that weâre expecting a little miracle,â
âI like to believe itâs a girl.â
The letter was decorated with tiny watercolor flowersâtulips and daisies (of course)âcurled at the edges from her nervous fingers and smudged with a hint of ink where her hand had lingered too long. It was sent off with a hopeful heart.
Of course, Burr didnât get it right away. Damn the messengers and their delays. But when it finally reached him in the camp, tucked among rations and reports, he opened it and everything else went still. His hands trembled slightly, eyes scanning the words again and again. The parchment was worn, the ink faded in some places, but it didnât matter.
The meaning was crystal clear.
He sat down outside his tent, stared at the stars without saying a word, and let it sink in. A daughter. Their daughter. The world was still on fireâbut for a second, he saw only her.
He wrote back that night, quickly and tenderly, promising heâd find a way to come home for a few days. Just a few. Enough to hold her. Enough to whisper that she wasnât alone.
Before he left, Burr passed by Laurens and Lafayette, who were arguing about something pettyâprobably socks again.
They tried to follow him, but Henry yanked him back, muttering something about minding their business. For once. Henry was writing letters back and forth to Jefferson the whole time when he noticed the boys were acting up.
Hamilton, meanwhile, was up to his neck in paperwork for Washington and barely noticed until Burr was halfway mounted on his horse.
âWhere are you going?â Alex asked, half-distracted and covered in gunpowder.
Burr glanced at him. âItâs your sister. I just need to see her for a few days. Donât do anything stupid while Iâm gone.â
Hamilton rolled his eyes. âYeah, yeah.â
â đ„â
When Burr finally returned home, the sun was barely rising. He swung off his horse, hopped the little fence, and dropped his bag by the porch.
Their dog, Conrad, barked once before eagerly bounding toward him. Burr patted his head with a quiet smile before stepping into the house.
There she wasâin the kitchen, mid-bite into a sandwich. Daisy gasped when she saw him, one hand flying to her chest, the other to the tiny bump beneath her apron. Her eyes instantly welled up. Burr said nothingâhe just walked forward and wrapped her up in his arms, holding her like the world hadnât tried to tear them apart.
He kissed her lips once. Then knelt, pressing a second kiss gently to her belly. She giggled through tears, brushing back his hair.
Neither of them said a word for a long time. They didnât need to.
â đŒ â
A Glimpse Into Daisyâs Dreams đ
â
One of Daisyâs most tender and meaningful linesâboth in thought and storyâis:
âWho would like my illustrations of a princess down the stairs as one of her slippers fell off?â
Itâs soft, a little shy, and full of heart. It speaks volumes about her quiet, creative spirit. Long before her art ever made its way into anyoneâs handsâbefore Burr or Eliza ever caught sight of her workâDaisy would sit alone in her room, sketching quietly by lamplight.
Doodles of imagined stories filled the margins of her mind, and one of her most beloved was her reimagining of Cinderella.
She had always been enchanted by the tale of a girl who, with a single lost slipper, changed the course of her life. Even if the earliest versions of Cinderella came from Europe centuries beforeâ(some say the French version by Charles Perrault was published in 1697, so Daisy couldâve heard it in whispers growing up)âthe magic still spoke to her.
Daisyâs version wasnât about glass slippers or royal balls. It was about a girl who kept losing things, like hope or direction, and somehow found herself anyway. She made dozens of illustrations, never thinking theyâd leave the paper, let alone be printed in a New York paper with her name beside them.
But thatâs the beauty of Daisy. đ
She never sketched to be seen. She sketched to feelâsafe, inspired, and real. And when the world finally did see her?
It was through those very drawings, brought to light by two familiar loved ones.
Her reaction to finding out that her illustrations were in the paper was a delayed one!
She was confused, unsure what to say as Burr waited for her answer at the breakfast table. Daisy slowly cracked a smile as she began to understand what he and Eliza did for her.
Aaron knows his wife isnât ever one to ask for anything, she doesnât deliberately ask for something like clothing, new shoes, gifts or to be given to token gestures that are for her.
She will jokingly ask for something and smile thankfully but this is definitely different. So he knew her reaction might be something similar to what he saw.
After the war, life didn't slowâit evolved. Burr returned to New York with a sharpened mind and a heart tethered to home. He studied law with relentless discipline, eventually practicing in one of the most bustling court districts, housed in the same building where, much to his reluctant amusement, his brothers-in-law also worked. YesâAlexander and Henry Hamilton were both next door. Every. Single. Day.
And Burr? He tolerated one. The other? He... respected.
See, Burr preferred Henryânaturally. Where Alexander burst into a room like a monologue in human form, Henry observed like a ghost with a law degree. Cool, calculated, measured. Distant at times, but perceptive beyond belief. Burr liked that. Could vibe with that.
Whenever Alexander began one of his infamous tirades in the courtroom, Burr would visibly wince. Heâd mutter, âOnly say what the client needs, not what you need,â while adjusting his coat and glaring sideways. Naturally, Alexander ignored him and rambled twice as loud.
Meanwhile, Henryâalready packing up his thingsâlooked like he was about to commit fratricide. âIâm leaving early,â heâd murmur, rubbing his temple. âI canât do this again.â
Burr? Sipping tea from his chamber mug like a royal judge. Silent, smug.
Then Daisy would float in, like spring wind.
With little Theo in one arm and a basket of pastries in the other, she would interrupt the courtroom chaos with a smile that somehow made even the stenographer pause.
Sheâd pull Alexander by the coattails and snap, âAlexander, please, sit down. Your driving Henry and Aaron up a wall today.â
He sat.
Burrâstill holding his cup, now with Theo clambering into his armsâwould chuckle as he pressed a soft kiss to his daughterâs curls, and then a longer one to his wifeâs cheek.
âHe always assumes heâs the smartest in the room,â heâd mutter.
âWhich one?â Daisy teased, not even blinking.
Burr raised an eyebrow. âYou know which one.â
(Answer: Itâs Alexander. Always Alexander.)
From the next office, crash!
âSHUT UP, DOOFUS!â Henry screamed across the walls.
Alexander responded with something ridiculous about legal theory and revolutionary ideals. Again.
Henry: contemplating murder.
Burr: sipping judgment.
Daisy: offering muffins.
Theo: stealing quills and knocking over ink wells.

đ ACT TWO â Scene: "Say No To This (Prologue)"
(Lights rise on a nearly bare stage bathed in golden-orange, casting long, dusky shadows. The city is buzzing in the background, a faint jazz-like violin riff playing a flirtatious echo of tension.)
[Spotlight left.]
BURR steps forward, dressed in a velvet coat of deep plum, hands clasped behind his back, face unreadable but compelling.
He walks slowly toward center stage, as the music begins to swell.
He addresses the audience coolly, like a man already holding the ending in his pocket.
đŁïž BURR
âThereâs nothing like summer in the cityâŠâ
(He slowly extends a hand to the right stage wing, inviting someone in.)
[Spotlight right.]
DAISY HAMILTON emerges, a vision in midnight-blue silk, her curls pinned with sapphire pins. Her presence is both calm and commandingâlike walking poetry.
She takes Burrâs hand gracefully, and he twirls her, her skirt catching the light like waves.
đŁïž DAISY
âSomeone under stress⊠meets someone looking pretty.â
(She lets her fingers land on Burrâs chest with practiced easeâas if mid-danceâthen her eyes flicker toward the audience. A warning? A secret? A sigh?)
BURR
(Turning his head slightly toward her, almost smirking)
âThereâs trouble in the air, you can smell it.â
DAISY
(Resting her head briefly on his shoulder, her voice soft but laced with sharp insight)
âAnd Alexanderâs by himselfâŠâ
BURR
(Glancing sideways toward the audience, biting down a smirk like heâs about to serve tea)
âWeâll let him tell it.â
(He steps aside slightly and leads Daisy gently, deliberately, off-stage right. Their silhouettes linger for a beat too long before vanishing behind the curtain.)
[Cue the spotlight shift. A chair slides into view. Enter ALEXANDER.]
Characters mentioned: Martha Kent, Bruce Wayne, Oliver Queen

Life was good to say the least. Job at the Daily Planet was going well, traveling to various locations, time with friends was amazingly busy and getting caught in the process of the hero world was a worldwide challenge, within itself. But she missed old house.
And she will never admit but with the recent events, she decided it was time to time to catch up with an old friend in her life.
So a few months later, Lucy settled into visiting Lex after spending her time away in Metropolis and uh, other places. Honestly, she missed her hometown of Smallville despite living in the big city, nothing will ever truly compare to the place she called home.
Itâs the place that shaped her into the woman she is and brought her comfort whenever she needed to move further in her life, even if nothing normal ever happens in Smallvilleâyet, she tries.
She drove up to the Luthor mansion, getting out to see the large estate and expensive scenery, god it was something out of a fairytale sometimes. Yes, over the years she has had mixed feelings about this places due to mishaps and disagreements that took place within those walls.
Hell, she was even trapped and held hostage within one of the rooms once. Yet, she came out fine thanks to Lex.
Speaking of the man, she found him sitting in his office as usual. Often times, he was seen practicing fencing, on an important phone call and or sipping a drink near the fireplace while reading a book. It depends on the day.
His assistant, Mercy, announced her entrance as she stepped in. Lucy gave her a small smile and a light nod, watching the women leave the two alone. She waited for him to say something as she sat down.
âYou gonna say something?â She asked jokingly, pushing back her thick bangs with a smile.
Lex looked up from his desk, as he was finishing up texting something on his rather decently large computer. Another way of showing how rich and extravagant he really is. Hell, the earrings Lucy was wearing were a personal gift from him years back, as a token of his appreciation for her.
âI see you brought no apple pie this time.â He replied, a soft smile on his lips.
She lightly nods, âDidnât have time to bake one.â
âHuh? And here I thought Martha Kent wouldâve been baking plenty knowing her daughter was back in town.â
âMom has more important things to do than bake, you know?â
âOh, I know, just like I know youâve been busy.â
She raised an eyebrow as she walked over leaning against the desk and put her bag down. Lex took that moment to remove his fingers from the keyboard and lean back against his chair to get a better look at the woman he once desired to care for.
Still does.
Even if theyâre just friends.
âOh, donât raise an eyebrow at me. We both know you been busy lately.â He added repeating him with a smile.
She nodded, lightly chuckling, âYou been reading the paper, huh?â
âWell the LuthorCorp building is just across the street from The Planet. Kinda hard to..not, get a glimpse of all the action.â
âNow youâre being cocky.â
âAnd your not? Lucy, dear, youâve been writing for the paper for some time now. Iâm proud, praising you even. I hope you got my flowers.â
She nodded having received his flowers lately after she published a paper on celebrity finances in Metropolis and getting an interview with Booster Gold too.
âYou okay?â She asked after a moment, with such warmth in her tone.
He nodded meeting her gaze, âWhy wouldnât I be?â
âYou seem off. Like something is bugging you.â
âSomething is always bugging me, Lucy, Iâm the owner of a company and have my own life to keep in tack while my business keeps trilling in stocks.â
âAnd with your contribution to helping with medical care.â
Lex smiled that, having known that when it comes to the people he cares for or the one he believes desire help at least, he will find the best medical care possible for their safety. Itâs one of the things he was grateful for due to his wealth, as Lucy loved that part of the riches as well.
Another moment of silence past after they talked and sipped on ice water that was brought by one of the servants, chuckling as they shared a smile.
However that was of part of Lex was chewing at him the second he saw her walk in. This hovering voice telling him to make a witty comment about what he saw on the new tabloids with a certain billionaire from Gotham. With Queen, he didnât mind one bit. Hell, he could care about Oliver despite their rivalry and underlying hate for each otherâalways trying to one up the other person, even if they grew up together as school boys.
But that playboy billionaire from Gotham? He didnât see how applying indication he was someone who would actually care about Lucy Kent. Maybe it was underlying care or desire he still had for her, but he didnât like it one bit.
Some would say he was dying a little inside. But he wouldnât admit it.
âSo, Gotham, huh?â He said smiling, not realizing it escaped his lips before it did.
She looked up from her nails, returning the smile as she nodded, âY-yeah. Why? You jealous?â
Yes. No.
Jealous? Him? Lex Luthor? Of Bruce Wayne?
No. Impossible.
But still, the words hung in the air between them, thick with something neither of them could name.
Lexâs eyes flickered to hers, the tension between them so palpable it almost hurt. He opened his mouth to say something, then closed it, clearly grappling with something he didnât want to admit.
âJealous?â he repeated, his voice low, but there was something beneath itâa sharpness, a challenge. "Why would I be jealous of a billionaire from Gotham?"
Lucy smirked, crossing her arms over her chest. âI never said anything about a billionaire from Gotham.â
âOh please, itâs obvious. I seen the headlines, Lucy.â
âFair.â
âBut why would you think Iâm jealous of some playboy?â
âI donât know. Maybe because heâs getting too comfortable around me?â
Lexâs eyes darkened, the storm behind his gaze unmistakable. Too comfortable? He wasnât buying it. He scoffed with a light smile. A sense of possessiveness rising in him before he could suppress it. He didn't like this. Didnât like the idea of another manâespecially not a playboyâgetting too close to Lucy.
Yet, he hide it well.
Last thing he needed on his mind was Lucy Kent seeing right through him. Then again, she always has. Even if sheâll never admit it herself.
âDonât flatter yourself,â Lex said quickly, his voice colder now, yet gentle. âWayneâs just another distraction. Heâll fade like the rest of them.â
Lucy didnât reply immediately. Instead, she tilted her head, studying him, a silent acknowledgment passing between them. But she never called him on it.
âYouâre unbelievable, Lex.â She said under her breath, her tone hush, but there was something more beneath it.
There was a weight to it, a hidden meaning that made Lex feel strangely exposed in that moment. He searched her face, trying to find the source of the quiet accusation in her words.
But Lucy didnât elaborate. She didnât press.
Part of him wanted to admit what he was feeling, to break down his carefully curated walls and tell her the truth. But he could never do such a thing.
Instead, he leaned back in his chair, keeping his expression cool as he said, âCan you honestly not agree with me on this? Wayne isnât worth it.â
Lucy shook her head in return. She glanced at her nails before lifting her face to look at him as she replied, âHow do you know that?â
âBecause I just do. I don't know why you insist on making everything more complicated than it needs to be, Lucy.â
âAnd here I thought we agreed that you wouldnât butt into our series of relationships after everything that happened. We agreed to respect that.â
âYet, you insist on bringing it up time and time again.â
Lucy let out a breath, one that barely reached the silence of the room. She did bite the edge of her bottom lips as she murmured, âLex..â
âLucy..â He murmured in return, his voice smooth and measured. âJust keep in mind that distractions come and go. Itâs part of the game.â
âWhat if this is different?â She interjected.
âDifferent how?â
âThat whatever it is, that I have going on, actually goes well.â
âI doubt it. Wayne is just some loner playboy who dates women for a few weeks, then theyâre gone. Itâs how it works.â
âLike it did with you? I was at both of your weddings, Lex, you had a good thing going on-â
âDonât finish that sentence, Lucille.â
Lucy scoffed lightly, her gaze flicking away from his eyes as she stood there, collecting herself. For a moment, she seemed like she might say something more, but instead, she gave him a small nod, her eyes never quite meeting his again.
She wasnât going to push it any further. Not now.
But Lex could feel it.
After a beat, she lifted her chin and gave a nonchalant shrug, âFine, Alexander, Iâll drop it. Itâs not worth it. But Bruce is not distraction.â
Lex held back a sharp breath, she called him by his actual name âAlexanderâ but in all fairness he did call her âLucilleâ. However he did catch her phrasing, she didnât call him Wayneâbut Bruce?!
How close were these two anyway?
It made Lex regret even mentioning Gotham all those years ago and teasing the city every now and then. He wasnât ever pleased about the city, finding it grime, dark and fast paced for his liking.
And she was spend time there possibly sharing glasses of champagne with Bruce Wayne at some low-life restaurant. Again, he seen the tabloidsâthe walks in the city paparazzi snapped of them, dates near windows at restaurants and possibly knocking into one another at eventsâit left an unpleasant taste in his mouth.
It made Lex feel something deep in his chest. Something sharp, something familiar, but altogether uncomfortable. The feeling he didnât want to acknowledge.
He was losing herâŠ
Lucy could sense the shift in the air, the tension thickening between them. But she wasnât going to let it rattle her. She didnât need to provoke him furtherâsheâd made her point. There was no use in dragging it out.
Instead, she turned toward the door, her back to him as she moved with deliberate calmness.
âIâll be seeing you, Lex.â
Her voice was soft, almost wistful, but there was no trace of hesitation in her steps. She didnât look back. She didnât need to. There was nothing more to say.
Not nowâŠ
Lex stood there for a moment, frozen. The silence in the room felt deafening after her words. She was gone, her presence lingering in the air like the faintest trace of a memory he could never quite grasp. He shouldâve called her back, demanded she explain herself, but something kept him rooted to the spot. The door was still slightly ajar, and through it, the sound of her footsteps echoed, gradually fading into the distance.
He stood still, his fingers brushing against the smooth wood of his desk, the coolness of it grounding him. His mind racedâsheâs with Bruce now. Thatâs the choice sheâs made. And yet, despite the rationalization, the thought twisted something inside him.
It wasnât just about Bruce Wayne. It was about the unspoken between them. The things theyâd never said, the things theyâd both avoided.
The connection, the historyâwas that all it was?
He didnât have the answers. He didnât have any of the answers, but he felt it. The emptiness she left behind. With a deep exhale, Lex straightened his back and turned back to his desk. He picked up the glass of water that had long forgotten, his hand steady as he took a sip.
Still, as the night stretched on and the mansion grew quieter, Lex found himself staring out the window into the darkness. A small part of himâone he rarely acknowledgedâwondered if this would be the last time he saw her, or if their paths would cross again.
After all, Lucy Kent had a way of slipping back into his life when he least expected it.
