my vision for seabury is that although people would assume he would be an openly spiteful person, he instead always fakes a smile that gets progressively more strained. he doesn’t really get that he should aim for kind, so he aims to be perceived politely.
also, i sorely dislike it when people make him classist [more of a YouTube thing, i think?] because. no?? he’s mean to the continentals, but he dgaf if said continental is rich or poor.
also. he does not typically engage in physical violence. appearance and propriety are everything, and fighting doesn’t do much good for either of those things, do they? samuel’s main feelings that causes him to act are his devotion to a cause, but also just as strongly, fear and dread. [I believe thayne’s vision for seabury was somewhat thought of as fear for what the king could do?**]. does Seabury know what he is without his beliefs? …no
