Some folks really are vile when it comes to the freedom of having the anon ability in the Tumblr inbox. Reminds me of the tellonym shit we used to be witnessed back in 2016-18? of some folks getting death threats and shit to someone we followed and we're mutuals with. Y'all are so goddamn loud, like some kind of fucked up little dogs barking, lunging, and growling at others for no fucking reason or because you saw an instance where you thought being racist or transphobic would make you look so goddamn smart! At least, until the ability to be completely anonymous got taken out; or you got fucking muzzled and couldn't leap at other's legs to bite them, if you still want the dog equivalent wording.
Do you know what that truly is? Disgusting cowardiceness. You are a fucking coward and you do not have a place in the community if you send death threats and especially racially charged anons to others in the community while talking on the behalf of the community like you know everyone here personally. I don't even believe the perpetrator is actually part of this goddamn community either, I do not choose to believe it, but a general reminder about the fact that there is no place for folks like this.
basic rule of thumb, if you can't say the same shit irl to someone or the target's face, then you also can't say the same shit in the inbox. Y'all do understand that there *is* a way to find your main blog(s) even if you send something anonymously too? RIGHT? The anon option of the inbox is not as anonymous as folks think it is.
This is about the most recent community drama regarding POC talking about things and being faced with death threats, racism, and whatever from transphobia all the way down to exor- and intersexism — BUT the most recent things aren't the only instances of what we're talking about here either (at least in spirit, since I DO directly mention some things from the recent, thus making this post about the most recent things.), we've been meaning to comment on the comfortable pocket of using anonymity to become the most rancid folks we've ever seen out there in this community even before this post. Not with the mind that it gets spread or some shit, that's a plus of course; but because acknowledging it is a thing, it deserves its own post, and it's something we've been meaning to comment so we have the ground to acknowledge it on our own blog as a thing we see as important. We just haven't had the time to sit down and pull everything into neat words for y'all to read over.
Honestly, dulling it all down to be labeled just "community drama" makes me sound like an ass to my own ears. But holy fuck. Y'all are so goddamn comfortable while fearing the consequences you will end up facing.
If you condone any kind of harassment including death and harm threat sending of any kind, go fuck yourself and block us.
