I so often see people saying TME/TMA is useless because it "collapses all non-transfems into one class regardless of their marginalization on other axes," and this is framed as a failure of intersectionality
they never explain why TME/TMA is different from every other axis of oppression in this regard, though. a cracker marginalized on other axes is still a cracker. we don't throw out the entire ability to call them white just because they're also marginalized. understanding that they're still a cracker despite being marginalized in other ways is, in fact, the entire point of intersectionality
YOU 🫵 are still TME regardless of how you are marginalized in other ways. if YOU 🫵 were a transfem, YOU 🫵 would be having it worse right now
when someone says kill all crackers I don't go "um but but I'm a white🧏🏻♀️ trans woman 🥺 you can't say that you're being transmisogynistic to me"
there are controversial foods I like where I’m like “yeah I get it. this isn’t for everyone”
and then there are some where I’m more “our tongue-to-brain setup must literally be wired differently because wtf are you talking about”
i think we're exact opposites, because i looove oatmeal raisin cookies, mushrooms, and meat fat
no im saying i like all of them.
category 1 is “I enjoy eating this, but understand why someone else wouldn’t”
category 2 is “this tastes objectively good. therefore our actual perceptions of reality must be different.”
happy bday jaosn

man half of my mutuals are named some shit like Snooble at this point im doing some poob as bullshit in my life
wbat the hell you weren't even exaggerating
Not to be dramatic but if there’s a character with animal powers and I cannot find ONE fanart of them being slightly unnerving/human but Something Is Off™️ then what are we even doing
At the having a headache awards

black boys and bunnies
the last image can be a social commentary Abt how black bodies are rather ignored and not listened to over characters that appear "less black"
but also it was a silly meme redraw hehe
I feel like this website lacks black art that's made from the black artists themselves, especially queer black artists. ty for enjoying my work!
the thing about media literacy is that understanding why the author chose to specify that the curtains are blue is the same skill set as understanding that the way the author characterizes all black characters as angry or all chinese characters as meek and silent is racist. it is the same skill set as being able to identify when a news source is biased or when someone is feeding you propaganda. the ability to ask "why did this person choose to present this premise in this specific way?" is a critical skill in a world full of misinformation. why are the curtains blue? maybe it's a characterization detail. maybe it's extraneous worldbuilding. why is this character written as being right all the time? maybe you're intended to disagree with them. maybe it doesn't matter. maybe you should still ask why.

Please, I beg you, with the heart of a father who needs your help to save his child's life, I implore you, do not abandon me.
Writing with aphantasia is wild bc yes that character looks very particular and is making a specific expression. Gun to my head I cannot describe it.
the way ppl talk about latinas is kind of very gross if I'm being honest
they're like reverse Asians bro they're all stacked and they're fiery mamacitas who you can break like a horse and make into domestic servants who love family
"bro I need a big booty latina" bro I need you to kill yourself
yeah this one especially pisses me off. that movie is so very straightforward in its themes and yet men will wrangle it into a racist fetishistic joke no matter what it reveals about them
Actually, no, I don't think that friendships dropping like flies in your late 20s and early 30s because no one has time for that between overwork and family obligations and marriage and kids and partners and the ritual of the time slayer is normal and ok. No I don't think deep conversations and spontaneous adventures being replaced with a tired coffee every six months is a normal part of growing up. I don't think that emotional intimacy and soul bonds disintegrating in the face of practical inconvenience is a fact of life. I think that means something is deeply deeply wrong with our society and I will never forgive it for the friends I've lost
this but also there's a widespread unwillingness to inconvenience others and to show any kind of vulnerability. and it kills friendship faster than you can not make a five minute phone call

my friend who is training to be a 911 operator just told me that they are having to restrain themself whenever responding to training calls from saying “that’s illegal people can’t do that” and I find that so fucking funny
For context
