I like to imagine Jack has that typical packrat older parent mindset with his own belongings, but has zero tolerance for Lucas's own stuff. Jack would say all the hoarded junk in the house was earned through hard work, so he doesn't want to throw it away. But the moment Lucas drags in something of his own, like maybe some stuff he picked up from the side of the road to tinker with, Jack gets all up and arms and claims he's taking up too much space

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but was there any confirmation that Lucas actually attended college? I know he has the LCS hoodie and everything, but I also know the LCS stuff was largely a nod towards Louisiana college football culture. The posters in his old room, Mr. Everywhere, and the LCS logo on Joe's diary seem to be a nod to that as well. Also Louisiana's rate of pursuing higher education is very low. One of the lowest in the US actually. I can imagine the Bakers seeing potential in Lucas, as they did when he was young, and using their old money to send him off. Maybe he just graduated before Evie happened? But also, imagining him going through college is hard for me. He seems too defiant. Smart and capable of great things? Sure, but I feel like he'd get bored and want to do his own thing. I know I'm splitting hairs here, but I've always wondered... What are peoples' takes on this? I could go either way, probably.

I find it funny how I thirsted over original RE4 Leon as a teenager like everyone else, but as an adult my tastes have just backslid into oblivion with creatures like Lucas. I still love Leon though, and I can't wait to continue with RE9. He's a bro and he'll always be special to me.
On the Zoe section of Lucas' "Fuck You List"
i know i'm probably preaching to the choir here and saying nothing new but: re7 players, like on Reddit etc, who insist Lucas has a certain...fixation on Zoe have clearly never been teased by a sibling before. like... he was pissed about the accusation? what is not to get?
Also my Japanese isn't great but from my understanding (and machine translation), the Zoe section of the fuck you list was localized, with the original note saying that she called him hentai 変態 because he was practicing yoga, which could also mean she just straight up called him a weirdo Lucas sucks for a lot of reasons, don't get me wrong! there are plenty of reasons to hate his ass lol. but I really wish that "factoid" about him would stop being perpetuated. he isn't a creep in that way good lord
I'm making actually very good progress on video stuff, even though this project feels way above my weight class and I'm a slowpoke. On the flipside though i'm really burnt out on 3D while video stuff takes my whole focus. I hope i can return to more Lucas slice of life one day because it's fun and makes me happy. Bleh.

I find it kinda ironic when some (keyword some) Lucas fans come to his defense or try to excuse his actions when the fandom takes pity on the family. I mean ……..one of his biggest aspects is that he’s a piece of shit for NO reason & does what he does purely for the love of the game. he was fully conscious and enjoyed just torturing the hell out of people 😭😭😭 but he’s funny as shit about it and his entire character is just so …….. I don’t know. He’s just the nasty, reclusive, slimy, computer-geek older brother from the 2000s trope incarnate,…… he really encapsulates the insufferable nature of the rancid white guy niche.
There’s a lot of neat aspects about his character and i wish there could be more discussions about him. overall , it feels like nobody really gets him or is willing to talk about him in-depth outside the small portion of Lucas fans that exist.
I'm losing my mind trying to finish this animation but I just wanted to share this stupid edit I made at the very least
