Makeup sex after an argument with Ryan Leonard x reader please maybe they fought before an away game and they haven’t talked in a few days and he gets home and immediately apologizes and gets on his knees begging to have her and a lot of pent up frustration and neediness collides and they just go at it <3
It had been three days since Ryan left on a roadie, which meant it had been three days without talking to him—completely ignoring every single call or message he sent me. Right before he left, we had gotten into a massive argument where he called me a bitch out of pure frustration. I’d been giving him the cold shoulder ever since.
A few of his teammates had even messaged me to check in, but I ignored them too. I really didn’t care at the time; I just wanted him to feel the weight of what he said.
Today, though, Ryan was supposed to get back. Id be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. I had been anxiously checking the clock all day, watching the minutes tick by with a knot tightening in my stomach.
By 8:30 PM, I had just finished taking a hot shower and was settling down for the night. I walked into the kitchen, brewed myself some warm tea, and turned on the TV to catch up on my favorite show.
I was sitting on the couch, trying to stay focused on the screen, when I heard the front door unlock. Ryan walked in. Instantly, the air in the room felt suffocatingly thick. I tried my absolute best to pretend he wasn't there, keeping my eyes glued to the television.
He locked the door behind him, stole a quick glance at me, and headed straight upstairs to put his stuff away and get into the shower himself.
I let out a long breath I didn’t even realize I was holding. I nodded to myself, assuming he’d probably just crash in bed after his shower—giving me the clear signal to sleep on the couch in peace.
Then, the doorbell rang. I got up, walked to the door, and found a delivery driver holding a box of fresh pizza. Ryan must have ordered it on his way home.
I took the box, murmured a quiet "thank you," and set it down on the kitchen island before returning to the couch and my show. A little while later, Ryan came downstairs, freshly showered with his hair still damp. He noticed the box on the island and walked over to it.
“You can have some... if you want,” he spoke nervously, his voice soft and hesitant.
I ignored him entirely, getting up from the couch to walk past him, wash my teacup in the sink, and walk right back. He watched my every move as he ate a quick slice. When I turned the TV off and laid down on the couch to scroll through my phone, he closed the pizza box, gulped down a glass of water, and kept his eyes on me as he retreated back upstairs to our bedroom.
I let out a heavy sigh once he was finally gone, staring at the ceiling as my thoughts ran wild.
Around 1:00 AM, the soft sound of footsteps creaked down the stairs. A moment later, I felt a heavy presence standing right in front of the couch.
I looked up to see him standing there. He had a comforter wrapped loosely around his body, his hair was a complete mess, and his eyes were bloodshot and swollen.
“I’m sorry... I’m so, so sorry. Please stop ignoring me,” he sniffled, his voice cracking painfully. “I tried apologizing so many times while I was gone. You never opened my messages, and you never answered my calls.” He continued to babble, overwhelmed by the silence between us.
Of course I had seen all his messages—I had read every single one. But hearing him say it aloud, sounding so genuinely broken, made my heart ache.
“I thought about you every single day,” tears streamed down his face, glistening in the dim light of the living room. “I was always completely alone whenever I wasn’t on the ice. Baby, please... I’m so sorry.”
He dropped to his knees right on the floor beside the couch, burying his face in his hands. I sat up, biting my lip as my stubborn anger completely melted away.
“Ryan... it’s okay. Get off the floor,” I finally caved, opening my arms to him.
He looked up, his face tear-stained and desperate. I reached out, grabbing his hands and helping pull him up onto the couch so he could lay on top of me.
“Shhh, don’t cry. It’s okay... I forgive you,” I whispered softly, kissing the top of his head and rubbing his bare back beneath the blanket.
Eventually, the heavy quiet set back in as his tears stopped and his breathing evened out. He let out a shaky sigh and sniffled.
“I missed you so much,” his raspy voice grunted into my neck.
I nodded, wrapping my arms tighter around him. “I know.”
“That’s the longest I’ve ever gone without talking to you,” he murmured, rubbing his puffy eyes with the back of his hand. “And I felt so alone.”
Hearing the vulnerability in his voice made my heart ache all over again. “Well, it’s all better now. I’m right here, and the argument is over.”
“I hate arguing,” he confessed, chewing anxiously on his lower lip.
I couldn't help but smile at how sweet and soft he was being. Reaching up, I cupped his chin, gently pulling his face up so he was forced to look at me. I leaned in and pressed my lips firmly against his.
The moment our mouth met, a soft, involuntary moan escaped his throat. The kiss quickly deepened, turning from a quiet apology into a needy, passionate make-out session.
He shifted his weight, grinding his hips down into mine as his breath hitched. I let out a light giggle at his impatience.
“Are you needy?” I asked teasingly.
Ryan blushed deep red, burying his face in the crook of my neck to hide his embarrassment, but he didn't slow his movements for a second. “I just want to show you how sorry I am,” he mumbled against my skin.
“Yeah? Show me,” I encouraged him softly.
He reached down, pulling his pants off and quickly helping me out of mine.
“Mmm... keep going,” I whispered as his hand guided himself against me, slowly sliding all the way in.
I gasped, my legs wrapping tightly around his waist as he began to move. He thrusted into me—hard, deep, and steady—releasing days of built-up tension, frustration, and raw emotion with every single stroke.
“Ugh,” he groaned deeply into my shoulder, the sound sending a shiver through me and causing a quiet whimper to escape my lips.
“Ryan... oh fuck, ugh,” I moaned, my nails digging into the bare skin of his back as the rhythm intensified.
“I missed you... I missed you so much,” he repeated, his voice thick with emotion, making sure I felt every word.
The pleasure built rapidly between us, overwhelming and fast.
“I’m gonna cum,” I gasped, squeezing my eyes shut as the waves started to hit me.
“Me too,” he groaned, picking up his pace to a fast, desperate rhythm.
A second later, I felt him twitch buried deep inside me, a rush of warm liquid filling me up as he let out one last heavy groan. We collapsed against each other on the narrow couch, tangled in the comforter, panting heavily in the quiet room as we simply held each other and took in every second of being close again.
