Behold, the cut scene from "Beware The Cyclone". Fair warning that this has not undergone the same editing as the rest of the story because it got cut before I edited it. It might have gone through one round (I can't remember) but I'm just throwing this out undercooked.
(This is during his absence when Yoimiya was getting waterboarded)
The tunnel snaked before opening up into another cavern with an exit that faced the sea. It was quite a large opening, and as he looked up above it he saw numerous large boulders, several smaller boulders in front being the only things keeping them from falling. Just like before there was a rope attached to the five small rocks, each end attaching to one of the smaller boulders and joining together as the rope ran along the wall.
Heizou walked over to the wall and grabbed hold of the rope, giving it a sharp tug like the woman did. The ropes pulled the small boulders down, soon followed by the large boulders. Heizou activated his vision and used the wind to make sure they landed quietly, lest the sound of the impact alerted the perpetrators.
They landed softly on the ground, though they still threw up much dust and debris into the air, and Heizou was plunged into darkness, the fire of the main cave too far away to provide any light.
He let his eyes adjust to the darkness before turning and making his way back.
As he walked he found a small tunnel halfway buried in the ground. He looked a little closer and smelled fresh air. He had never been a big fan of caves, and he wasn't excited about the notion of squeezing through a small tunnel. He wondered if it was even big enough for him. But it would be faster than going back through the main cave, and there was fresh air, so something must be able to climb through it. With any luck that something would be a human. (Author's note: This is a very bad idea and I hope I don't have to explain why, don't ever do anything like this, Heizou is just being stupid rn)
He took a deep breath and steeled himself before kneeling down and crawling into the tunnel. At first, while the walls were close around him, there was plenty of room. However as he moved forward, the tunnel squeezed tighter around him. There were several times when his sides brushed against the damp stone. The walls seemed to close in around him as he crawled, and he desperatley did not like that. He wanted to get out, and he pushed himself to move faster.
He felt trapped in such a small space, but he continued on. Trying not to think about it, he climbed through the tunnel, focusing on his breathing to try and calm himself, like his father had taught him.
As he continued the air became fresher around him, and he could smell the saltiness of the ocean and hear the rustling of trees. He squeezed through the tunnel as it squeezed tighter, and he barely managed to pull himself through a particularly tight spot. However as soon as he did, the tunnel began to grow wider and wider, much to Heizou's relief, and as he turned a corner he saw sunlight.
The tunnel opened up into a small cave. It wasn't very large, but as Heizou climbed out of the tunnel he found it was tall enough to stand up in. There was a small opening to the outside, and Heizou could faintly hear hilichurls moving around outside. Luckily they didn't come close enough to see him or else they would have attacked him on sight.
He looked above the opening and found the same setup as the other two entrances, with the rope attached to the rock hanging from the walls. Heizou walked up to it and hugged on the rope, pulling the rocks down.
He once again called on the wind to soften their fall and silence the crashing sound of them hitting the ground. They fell through the air and settled on the ground, a few small stones bouncing off them as they came down to rest on the floor, blocking out the sunlight.
A sudden wave of fatigue washed over Heizou, and he leaned back against the wall, resting his eyes. Using his vision that much was definetley taking his toll. Hopefully that meant that he would sleep well.
He rested against the wall for a few more moments, breathing in and out, before pushing himself up and looking at the small tunnel in the floor. He didn't want to go back in there. He looked around for any other option, and saw a normal sized tunnel. He mentally facepalmed, he didn't need to crawl through the hole.
He crept over to the tunnel and looked through it. Only darkness met his gaze, and he snuck down the tunnel. This one was straight for the first part, then turned sharply. As Heizou walked to the turn he found it wasn't just a corner of the tunnel, but an fork. He wondered to himself if crawling through the hole was even the best option
At the end of the path came torchlight. It flickered, first dimmer, then brighter, but always there. He could hear shouting coming from the main cavern, and two voices rang out, overlapping each other. One sounded like Yoimiya and the other sounded like the female perpetrator, and both their voices were full of panic. Heizou's heart sped up, and he jogged to the cave, no longer caring about being quiet.
