Screw writing âstrongâ women. Â Write interesting women. Â Write well-rounded women. Â Write complicated women. Â Write a woman who kicks ass, write a woman who cowers in a corner. Â Write a woman whoâs desperate for a husband. Â Write a woman who doesnât need a man. Â Write women who cry, women who rant, women who are shy, women who donât take no shit, women who need validation and women who donât care what anybody thinks. Â THEY ARE ALL OKAY, and all those things could exist in THE SAME WOMAN. Â Women shouldnât be valued because we are strong, or kick-ass, but because we are people. Â So donât focus on writing characters who are strong. Â Write characters who are people. (x)
