Something something Oscar having someone forcibly "reincarnate" into his body and having to possibly accept that he will no longer be himself but still chooses to do what he thinks is good/right vs Ruby losing her sense of self, and when given the choice to "reincarnate" into anyone she wants, she chooses to be herself and do good. There HAS to be some RG parallel/plot in here, right?!

And I really hope it gets adressed in v10 because it such potential for a heart to heart between the two i will be so pissed if they don't.

However I'm hopeful, there was a reason why their reunion was interrupted in v8, the big event is supossed to be their reunion in Vacuo. They have a lot to talk about and I really hoped that in between all that we get Ruby reassuring Oscar's individuality, now with the experience of the ascension to back her up.

And this also has me thinking on how Ruby would come to a new understanding of Oscar's feeling with the merge, slowly losing the value of their identity, thinking they would be better as someone else, having people trying to erase their sense of self (Ruby had Neo trying to force her to ascend, Oscar had Qrow and Ironwood pushing for him to replace Ozpin as soon as possible.). Im saying it in a "Ruby being Oscar emotional support" but more in a "Them both supporting eachother due to shared experience". This is also me saying that I hope they dont solve Ruby self-worth and self-deprecation problem with a pep talk and one magic therapy session, she will need more help than that.

In a nutshell, I hope they get to talk about it, that Ruby helps Oscar to choose himself for once and that Oscar reassures Ruby that choosing herself was the right thing to do.

You know what I find funny? Okay, so, during the scene where Neil is like "oh my god Andrew do you like me" and Andrew is like "no, I hate you, but I'd totally blow you if you asked."

While that is going on all I can imagine is Aaron in the background just dancing like a grace less potato. All limbs, no rhythm, dancing likes it's no tomorrow, oblivious to the fact that his brother just admitted to his worst nemesis that he'd blow him (basically that he likes Neil in the most Andrew way possible), and that amuses me to no end.

This is the best description I’ve heard for this method, I always thought it was bullshit because I never heard a description that actually explained how to do this other than “tap your head 20 times”.

I have anxiety-induced hissing, which sounds/feels different from sound-induced tinnitus (which I have also experience). Sound-based tinnitus actually sounds like you’re “hearing” something in your ears, whilst the hissing I have feels like it’s “inside my head”, if that makes sense. But this technique still helps!!
