The Celestial, while initially excited for the chance to stretch her fingers and cause some mischief with her powers fully returned to her... had a pit in her stomach growing in response to the sights that she viewed from up above the city. Violent clashes, blood, and mayhem-- this was... this was too much.
Even for her. ... But, itâs not as though she could just sit around, either. From her seat in the heavens, the Celestial pinpointed select spots where these invaders were gathering and shook the earth.
They were trained, but were they trained for earthquakes, mudslides, and so on? ... No, of course not. But, this wasnât fun. This wasnât a game.
People were really dying. She was really killing people.
â...â
It was a necessity, wasnât it? She was saving people as well. But... this didnât feel right. ... How funny it was. She, the one that didnât often think about the effect of her actions on others, was certainly thinking about it now.
She could see the results, after all. And they werenât pretty.
... An aurora formed in the sky surrounding her as silently, the Celestial began to seize scarlet energy from the hearts of the citizens of both cities-- to gather more power. ... But, it didnât feel good. This didnât feel good at all.
