Domestic Headcanons with Rocky Balboa: ♡

• Rocky is the most loyal and devoted man you will ever meet. This man will always be by your side no matter what.

• He will find an excuse to always hold you and kiss you no matter what.

◦ That's not to say he will participate in PDA, unless you want that, but he just loves to show you off as his to the world whether it be holding your hand, kissing your cheek, his buff arm around your petite shoulders, or just simply him kissing your lips.

◦ The only time you can't really be as affectionate with him is when he is training before his matches.

• He's definitely not a good cook.

◦ He would still cook for you, even if it doesn't taste the best, but he definitely prefers your cooking.

◦ But you like cooking for him anyways so you both win I guess.

◦ Just don't ask him to make you eggs...

• Hear me out on this, but he is also definitely the type to tickle you.

◦ When you're both are home and you've had a bad day, he can't stand you being upset so he finds any way possible to turn that frown upside down and so his best conclusion is to tickle you! He won't stop until you're busting out laughing. When he's tickling you it's like being in the boxing ring, not because there is physical violence but because its like there are 3 rounds.

• He's a traditional family man. Family means EVERYTHING to him.

• When you're on the bed or couch reading your favorite book, he will ask you to read aloud to him. He just adores listening to the sound of your voice as he finds it comforting.

• He is so unbelievably protective of you. You are his pride and joy, so to him, it's his duty to keep you safe. To be dramatic, you are the love of his life, so he will do anything to keep you safe.

◦ He refuses for you to walk alone in the dark late at night if you're walking the dog or doing a night jog.

• After a shopping trip, he will always carry the groceries without being asked.

◦ He jokingly says it's part of his lifting routine.

• As you know, he isn't naturally eloquent. But he is always sincere. He may not know the perfect words to use but he will find a way regardless.

◦ Pet names he calls you is: "cute", "pretty", "beautiful", "babe", but if anything he just prefers to say your name because that's the most beautiful word he's ever heard.

◦ Even if he can't find a good way to verbally communicate, he will also do it through his actions.

◦ He shows love through consistency, acts of service, quality time, and physical touch.

• He takes your birthday, anniversaries, Valentines Day, Christmas, etc. with you VERY seriously! Every special occasion you share together is very special to him.

• He loves having you at the gym with him! Not because he expects you to work out along with him, but because he appreciates your company.

◦ Plus you can help aid him in counting his sets.

• After the gym, once the two of you are back home, he absolutely loves it when you massage his sore muscles. Even if it is sensual, he quietly appreciates the care and tenderness you put into looking after him

• He naturally takes care of little things. Whether it's changing a lightbulb, carrying heavy boxes, pumping your gas, scrubbing your back in the shower, washing the car, reaching something off the top shelf.

playing card games at midnight when you can't sleep, kitten heels on cobblestones, calling him your boyfriend whenever you can because this is the first summer that he's yours and you're his, sun-kissed skin, stealing his lighter and never ever giving it back, showering in his bathroom and smelling like him for the rest of the day, getting him to tie up your shoes just for the ankle kisses you know he'll give you, longer days, jumping in the ocean whenever you can, putting honey on everything to make it sweeter, glass bottles of white wine in grocery store bags, sending each other postcards from wherever you've gone

-right when he saw you he knew he needed you

-at first he’d teasingly flirt with you but over time he actually started to catch feelings

-asshole at the start

-you’d get annoyed pretty easily from him

-he’d start to notice your annoyance from him slightly after he started liking you

-upsets him a bit (just a little bit) from the genuine annoyed look on your face any time he comes near you

-tries to make you jealous but it just ends up giving you the ick “Have you tried to get their attention?” Rory asked me and Paris as Tristan was making out with some girl in front of our lockers “sure have” Paris said as I rolled my eyes at the little love session Tristan had going on “no luck?” Rory asked “nope” both me and Paris replied as we rolled our eyes “it’s like he’s eating her face” Rory said disgusted.that caused me to let a snarky low chuckle out as Paris stared at them. I rolled my eyes lifting up my books and what felt like 20 pounds inside my back bag up.Rory tapped Tristan shoulder asking them to move a bit to the left. “what?” Tristan acted dumb with a stupid grin on his face “you’re standing in front of the lockers” Rory told Tristan “our lockers” I responded with a stern look “Oh sorry we just got a little carried away” Tristan replied snarky “right” both me and Rory said as she rolled her eyes as Tristan and the random girl backed away from the lockers Tristan noticed how genuinely unbothered you look and how’d you be annoyed if anyone was in your way of your locker on purpose

-once he realizes making you jealous doesn’t work he starts being a ‘gentle man’

-giving you some dumb nickname

-over time you get use to his annoying flirty remarks

-always loans you his notes

-birthday kiss

-admiring you in class while you’re paying attention to the lesson

-apologize to you once you guys start getting closer for being an asshole and genuinely means it “I’m sorry I gave you such a hard time for a while” Tristan apologized to me “oh…it’s ok..well it’s not but I understand” I gave him a small warm smile

-catching him staring at you in class

-helps you a ton whenever you’re struggling in a certain subject

-you guys always have to be in the same group project together

-while you guys sit next to each other he makes little braids in your hair when you have your head down in class

-teasingly agreeing to whatever you have to say about something

-people noticing him changing slightly to win you over

-playfully begging to carry your books “Tristan I can carry them my self” you chuckled softly and playfully rolled your eyes at him as he tried to snatch your thick books away

-even carrying your back bag for you when school is over

-insists on driving you home

-teases you whenever you’re reading a book and not paying attention to him

-“seducing” you with that god damn smirk/smile of his

-getting mad and scolding him as he has a snarky laugh smirking at you in the hallways
