defaultgender is a broad term that can be neutral, genderless, or outheric. the idea is that it is the gender that exists when a person has no other genders. for this reason it can be considered a genderless or neutral identity. however, it can also be considered outheric if it does not feel neutral to someone.

the best way to visualize being defaultgender is by imagining a dropdown selection table on a website where you are asked to select your gender, there's a bunch of options and then there's "default" for when you don't select anything. that's defaultgender.

In my opinion, if gender is not a binary, it is a septenary (arity of seven). That is not to say that there are seven genders in total, but rather most gender identities that exist can be sorted into seven distinct categories.

Nonmonogenders are also included in this, but I'm treating them as amative genders here. Nonmonogenders can be used to modify any gender in the gender septenary.

Most genders can be sorted into one of these categories: Female-aligned, Male-aligned, Neutral-aligned, Genderless-aligned, Xenic-aligned, Outheric/Aporine-aligned, Unlabled/Unknown.

Androgynous genders are both female and male, either as centrigenders, gendermixes, or multigenders.

A gender that is not fiaspec, miaspec, niaspec, agiaspec, xiaspec, ouiaspec, nor uiaspec.

It also excludes liaspec genders due to excluding fiaspec and miaspec genders. It also excludes aporine genders as they are being covered by outheric and neutral genders.

Typically if someone says "I like to present neutrally", that means they are doing something to present that way and have defined neutrality as something tangible to embody and maintain.

Aqualitinity is when someone has no intention to present any particular way. This might mean that, to others, that person might look feminine, masculine, or whatever else, but that person is not really intending to come across that way. An aqualitine person simply just is the way one is, and whatever other people see that as is subjective.
