RACHEL BERRY

Rachel thought she could be the kind of girl to have meaningless sex. Why couldn’t she? She may have been a romantic her entire life, but that didn’t mean that she fell for just anyone. She could have meaningless flings. It should have been easy. A lot of people do it. That’s what she thought she and Scarlet had. Maybe they did at first. Rachel didn’t sleep with other people, but she knew that Scarlet did and she didn’t care. Not back then. Somewhere between then and now things had changed. Maybe it’s been that way for awhile, but she never let herself think about it. How could she? She had an idea in her head and that’s all she allowed herself to think about. It was sex. That’s it. She didn’t want intimacy, she wanted a physical relationship with someone; no strings attached. Perhaps that was all it was in the beginning, but it didn’t feel that way now. Not when she was holding her hand the way she was. It didn’t feel like it can get more intimate than that.

If she allowed herself to really think about it, she would be scared of that fact. She would be thinking of the people she scared away; or even people she had pushed away because of her fears. Up until now, she had been able to hide those fears well. In fact, she would almost forget about them completely when she was with Scarlet. It was very easy to get so caught up in her. She supposed that now was no exception. She had still been caught up in Scarlet, but it wasn’t about how she was making her feel physically. Although, she had to admit that part was incredible. It was the way her heartbeat quickened by squeezing her hand. That’s what would have scared her the most. She wasn’t supposed to be feeling that way. However, whether she was supposed to or not, there it was. She couldn’t even deny it anymore.

Even if she had tried to deny it, the way Scarlet was touching her wouldn’t allow it. She could try and pretend like it was all in her head, but the way she was touching her was different. She knew it was different when she took her by the hand. Then she started rubbing circles on her hand and she wondered if Scarlet knew what she was doing. Was she feeling the same things Rachel was feeling? Or was this completely one sided? It didn’t feel like it was. It felt like maybe the two of them were on the same page. Especially when Scarlet was telling her how good she tasted. She was sure it wasn’t the first time she said that, but it made her feel a certain way. Besides completely turned on. She wanted to say something in return, but she couldn’t find the words once her tongue was inside of her again. As much as she wanted this to go on, she knew she wasn’t going to last much longer. Not when she had been on edge all night and not when Scarlet was touching her like this.

SCARLET ANDERSON

Scarlet was being a little selfish here. She was only thinking of how this all was making her feel, but not so much Rachel. Not the physical stuff; she knew that was making the other girl feel good. She could tell by the movements of her body, the way she could feel her shaking beneath her. The other stuff, though? The emotional stuff? She hadn’t really considered how Rachel could be feeling the exact same way. If she was, that made Scarlet feel some entirely different type of way. The kind that made her want to just protect her, because these feelings were so scary and confusing, and she didn’t want Rachel to have to feel anything negative. Not that Scarlet’s feelings could really be described as negative, but no one wanted to be scared and confused, right? That part wasn’t a whole lot of fun. She wondered if they should just focus on what was fun, and that would be the sex they were having. But then she remembered their hands were still held together, their fingers still intertwined. It made it impossible to ignore those feelings.

All of a sudden, Scarlet wanted to kiss Rachel. She wanted to sweep her up in her arms and kiss her, let her know everything she was feeling. She was terrible with words, and especially when it came down to feelings. It wasn’t like the two of them didn’t kiss, they did, but usually they were making out and it was leading up to sex. She wanted to just kiss her, though. Just be close to her. Maybe that’s what she would do afterwards. Scarlet was incredibly turned on—How could she not be with a naked Rachel Berry beneath her, her tongue pressed against her, able to taste her?—But a part of her didn’t even care to switch positions afterwards. Not right away, anyway. She just wanted to hold the other girl and kiss her. That was so unlike her, and she wasn’t sure how to feel about it. She knew she was over denying it, though. To herself, anyway.
