I'm also sharing this now, not for me, but for my dad. And I owe him that much because for one, it's his birthday today. Tomorrow is mine, and the next day, we continue filming this. And another, he's had no successful endeavors with film and creative projects that it had slowly pulled us further down over time. But still we try. So I might as well shoot my shot and ask for help as well with this. If anybody would bother to. He's acting director, co producer, co editor, storyboard artist, screenwriter, and writer among other filming roles that are otherwise impossible to be undertaken by one person. And everything we do is out of pocket. I'm continued to be both wearied and impressed by how he's able to do it.

Here are video's we've put together sometime ago as trailers and proofs of concept, for reference viewing. I can also edit so little as my video editing skills are bare minimum. I apologize that are metrics for this are very low. Our outward reach has been poor.

In the meantime I do concept artwork for it that I have never shared yet, but I am willing to in the future. Hopefully that can help push the project forward. I'd also like to hear if anyone is interested in lore dumps and concept art for this.

Sun Chaser, created by Bernard Badion and Bobby Pontillas, centers around Jordan Santos. A teen who's summer vacation turns upside down when he accidentally opens a portal and an ancient evil attacks his lola's island.

The pilot is out on YouTube and the Kickstarter has already been launched. The team behind this project does not have a Tumblr, I am merely a Filipino who sees it's potential and wants it to flourish.

I hope that my plea to support this will not go unheard. Animation in the Philippines is rare and I want such an art form to be taken seriously in my home country.

Which is why I want this to be supported. To let the Sun Chaser team continue to have the chance in having their story told and may it inspire other Filipino stories in animation to come out into the spotlight as well.

After all the criminals were killed, a notorious pirate surrendered to the royal family. Yet the raja muda (crown prince) cannot shake the feeling that something is terribly wrong. (Plus point if the pirate captain a woman)
