HE MAKES A FACE that clearly showed his feelings on plan d. a slow blink, and he adjusted how he was sitting in his slouched position. he didn’t get up by any means. no, he stayed where he was – relaxed. healing. whatever you wanted to take out of his position. “what?” he said. “why the hell didn’t we go that route first, mate?”

      “ Because if they decide that they’re not interested in handing it over, they’re going to try and kill me, and that's always an annoyance. “

      With another deep breath he finds himself sinking even deeper into his chair, resting his head against the back of it to alleviate some of the pain in his neck.  Only for a moment of course, as soon after he’s settled he aches in another way from the new position.

“i guess unplanned explosions do have their upside, huh, mate?” HARRY RECLINED BACK IN his seat. feet propped up on the chair to his left, he looked to be in a relaxed position. in all honesty – his back hurt from the explosion, and the lifting anyway. he knew that nicolas was as annoyed as he was. plan d, it seemed would be the best option.  “so what is plan d?”

      “ Plan D is I walk in and ask for it. “

      He shrugs vaguely, relaxing back as well now that he’s done staring at the map and trying to figure something else out.  Plan A really should have worked, and mucking that up has caused a serious set back that he hadn’t really planned on fixing if this last ditch effort were any indicator.

“is that a clever joke about your dick? because i’m in.” HE WAS NOT IN, he was cracking a joke. and it was due to the annoyed look on his face. deflecting was one of his strong suits. humor instead of anger seemed the best option at the moment. rubbing the bridge of his nose, he let out a SIGH.  “things would have gone according to plan, if it wasn’t for that god damn yuppie shitting out last minute. you hesitate with dynamite, you lose dynamite.” 

      “ I never joke about my cock, Harry, it’s very dear to me. “

      He allows that joking sexual proposition to pass for once in his life, probably due to his own irritation at such a marvelous failure to what should have been a remarkably easy plan to succeed with.  But now here they were, relic free, with ringing ears and bruised bodies and a burning need to try again as soon as possible.

“Mm. And now you’re lying. You do realise that such an act is unbecoming of a man, yes?”

“You know full well what you did. Stop that. You’re being inappropriate.”

“Stop that.”

       “ Right.  So.  Plan A failed spectacularly, so we’ll go ahead and jump to plan C, given that the east entrance collapsed during plan A. “

      He taps his fingers against the map a couple of times to indicate what exactly he’s rambling about with intermittent pauses to drink the now ice cold coffee.  He should probably make more, given the likelihood of them staying up all night.
