we're to blame

i do apologize for not being here, school’s been a bitch and i’ve been busy with life

however, i’m running a lot of blogs and i’ve been trying to condense that down to one or two.

so here’s what’s happening….i’m officially moving ALL OF THE EXO TEAM to my multimuse blog at MUJEHAN

i’ll definitely set up a redirect page to that blog…but that’s where this muse will be.

— caelus’s grip on his wrist was tight, almost painful as he begged jongin not to leave. the nightmares ( or was it night terrors, jongin wasn’t sure anymore but regardless, it had caelus terrified ) had gotten worse over the past few nights and tonight in particular, the male was convinced that jongin was going to leave him for whatever reason.

the male had only shifted to the edge of the bed to turn on the bedside lamp but before he could even do so, his lover’s hand gripped his wrist tightly to stop any movements. jongin sat quietly in the dark, partially because he was still trying to wake himself up from his sleeping stupor and partially because he was trying adjust his eyes to the darkness.

“okay…ow…” jongin muttered, placing a hand gently on the hand caelus was gripping his wrist with, “easy there, i’m not going anywhere, i’m just turning on the lights,” jongin murmured, trying to get caelus to ease up. shifting himself back towards caelus, “i’m not going anywhere, i promise,” he said, as loudly as his hoarse voice would allow ( what time was it anyways?? ).

lying back down in bed, he drew caelus closer and embraced the younger tightly, “i’m right here, i’m not going anywhere, i promise,” he said, repeating the words over and over until the other believed him and then some. “i love you, i’m not leaving, not now, not ever.” jongin breathed, rubbing the other’s back, hoping to soothe his sobs.

he really wanted to know what was causing so much terror and pain in caelus so he could ease those pains but he didn’t want to push the other into sharing because it may not be something he was comfortable with sharing. he desperately wanted to know what had gotten the battle-hardened, terrifying as fuck assassin so upset…

— “those are a lot of questions,” jongdae said, brows raising at the various inquiries from the other. taking a moment to ponder his answer, though they were valid questions, he never really understood why asking them was important…but nonetheless, he’ll answer.

“some of my favorite things about bijoux….” he started, “his personality because he brightens up my life, reminds me that there’s somewhere outside the sterile lab. another would be that arrogant air about him, i warn him about it but he pulls of arrogance well. he’s caring, and loving and attentive, i like that about him…he’s good looking, well built and kinda hard to take your eyes off of,” jongdae hummed, drumming his fingers lightly against the desk, “he’s got beautiful eyes, really nice. or maybe i’m biased because that was all i used to see before he took off that mask,” he shrugged.

“what he could improve on…toning down his arrogance? i mean, he’s gotten into trouble because of it and i’ve warned him about it,” jongdae shook his head, “though meek and humble just doesn’t seem to suit him so i’m not quite sure…” the male continued, “but definitely his arrogance and cockiness, but i’m pretty sure they’re the same thing…i have to google that to make sure though,”

a pause to ponder the next question, “mm…everywhere? there isn’t a specific place i want to go with him, i want to go everywhere with him. adventures are fun when you have someone to share it with, right?” jongdae inquired, “but if i had to choose, probably somewhere in europe…i’d like to visit the homes of some of the scientists i’ve admired for so long.” he nodded, “ah, but also japan….i hear the scenery there is really pretty in the spring.”

--- brows furrowed at the other’s words, they had gotten in a heated argument and luhan suddenly stood from his seat. the chair’s legs making a harsh screech across the marble floor and precariously tipped backwards before it landed on four legs with a dull thud, he would have stormed out if not for the words that fell from saturn’s lips.

are you leaving me?

silence greeted the question, the chinese male was still processing the other’s question while the other looked on. with each passing moment, luhan could have sworn he saw saturn’s expression change several times yet for the life of him, he couldn’t figure out why saturn would as him if he was leaving him.

“...do you want me to leave?” he asked, tone hesitant as he searched saturn’s features for answers, “why are you asking me that kind of question? do i seem like the kind of guy who’d just walk out after an argument? do you think so little of our bond??” luhan asked, feeling another rise in anger but this time for a completely different reason.

luhan had been working long hours and his fuse was short, his patience worn thin from having to deal with the childish antics of his younger teammates at the office. he didn’t mean to blow up at saturn but he did and at the back of his mind, he urged himself to calm down and apologize yet, he couldn’t seem verbalize it...and that lead to him standing from his seat which only incited another bout of anger.

— “….” he frowned, “the real question is what HAVEN’T caelus tried…” jongin responded, “you’re asking me what i’d like to explore, i honestly have no idea because if i name it, chances are we’ve already done it or he’s gonna do it,” jongin continued, “plus, me naming things is just gonna give him ideas and giving him ideas is a bad idea,” he rambled, shaking his head.

“i’ve also already lost track of kinks we’ve tried…the recurring one being rough sex…” he shrugged, “but i’ve known caelus to quite like public sex too, and toys, and domination, and blindfolds, and restraints,” he listed, ticking off each item with his fingers, “and orgasm denial, and overstimulation,” he continued.

— “mm…” he hummed as if he was trying to figure out what to say, “favorite part? i can only choose one?” he asked, ‘i can’t say that my favorite part of saturn is ALL of him??” luhan asked, “because it’s too hard to choose just one, y’know?” he continued, leaning back in his seat.

--- “okay, firstly, calm down,” luhan held up a hand as if to stop saturn on his tracks, “secondly, i’m okay, it’s just a busted lip,” he continued, “thirdly, this is nothing compared to the fights i used to get into undercover,” luhan concluded...okay, that last statement may not help ease saturn’s heart but he figured he’d let the other know that he’s suffered worse at the hands of others.

“doc says it’ll heal in a few days, just need to keep it from infecting,” luhan continued, dropping his things at the door ( he’s too tired to even bother cleaning up after himself ), tossing his coat precariously over the back of a chair, “i just didn’t think i’d be engaging in combat, definitely took me by surprise,” luhan laughed then winced, “but hey, at least i won the fight, right?” luhan gave saturn a glance, “do i get a reward for winning?” the male joked, rifling through the fridge for a bottle of cold water.

--- hissing in pain when the other had grabbed his face, “hazard of the job,” jongin explained, gently removing caelus’s hands from his face. it was painful, it wasn’t bad but it was painful and he really needed some ice for the injury. “don’t worry about it, i’m alright...other than this,” jongin gestured to his face as he stalked towards the fridge in search of anything frozen for his stinging face. “you should have seen the other guy,” jongin joked, pulling out an ice pack and wrapping it in a clean towel before pressing it to his face, a soft sigh of relief leaving his lips.

“really, i’m fine. this isn’t the worst that could have happened,” jongin murmured, “but thank you for the concern.” he reached out with his free hand to pat his lover’s cheek before his hand dropped to grab caelus’s and guided him towards the living room couch. moving to recline himself on a cushion, he set the ice pack down and opened his arms to gesture for caelus to join him, “c’mon, you know cuddling makes me feel better,” jongin stated, waiting for the other to join him.
