So, what got me into tumblr?
Probably the sight of Carrie writing her column on her laptop every episode of SATC... Something about this has always scratched my brain, making me want to start writing my own.
Due to the fact that I won´t ever get to experience being Carrie Bradshaw, living in NY spending thousands of dollars on heels and meeting my super cool friends for brunch afterwards, I started to look into how to recreate this as close as possible.
Here I am, laying in bed, listening to tame impala as i´m writing this on my laptop, hoping this can satisfy my craving.
Ever since I had watched SATC for the first time, I immediately knew I was a Carrie (although I did see myself in Miranda a few times). Like I totally get her. She is me, I am her. I also see myself running after the same guy for years, only to get dumped every time, which has already happened. Cannot recommend. Will probably continue doing so.
Can anyone else relate to this? I feel like a majority of the fandom dislikes her... But I just can´t, she is like my bsf i always worry about.
Anyways, imma continue doomscrolling through tumblr, listening to my ethereal spotify playlist on aux.
