Savvy Mental Performance Beverage

Coffee was the inspiration for the world's first webcam!  In 1991, in the old Computer Laboratory of the University of Cambridge, England, the idea of the webcam was born, to keep an eye on the coffee machine next door!! To save people working in the building the disappointment of leaving their desks and only to find the coffee machine empty after making the trip to the room, a camera was set up providing a live picture of the coffee pot to all desktop computers on the office network in Cambridge. We love this story as it shows the ingenuity of people and how coffee can stir up some of the most creative ideas!

Are attention spans getting shorter? Well, truth is, we don't know. While "they" say that the average attention span is down from 12 seconds in the year 2000 to eight seconds now. That is less than the nine-second attention span of your average goldfish. There's something fishy about these statistics. Firstly, they reference a flawed 2015 survey, and secondly, it turns out that there is no evidence that goldfish - or fish in general - have particularly short attention spans or memories, despite what popular culture suggests.
