I was talking with Meghan and Amy during “Knick Knack” on Monday about Red Dead Redemption and why it’s one of my favorite video games.
One of the reasons I mentioned was the voice acting, in particular that of the main character, John Marston (played by Rob Wiethoff).
I was telling them about the actor and the interesting story behind his getting the job and leaving acting behind to move back to his small town and raise a family. And how much his real life story parallels that of the character with whom he shares a voice.
I mentioned a short documentary that Polygon did a few years back which tells his story, and this is that video.
