the internet in general is destroying the planet

fast fashion is destroying the planet
wars and genocides are destroying the planet
capitalism and consumerism and industrialization are at the heart of basically all of these
billionaires are destroying the planet by making the decisions that shape literally all of what’s destroying the planet
can our individual actions change the world?
probably not, but to me that question is irrelevant.
we change our individual actions not because cycling or taking the bus will be enough to change the world, not because eating lower on the food chain will be enough, not because refusing to participate in the rampant and utterly pointless generation of AI slop will be enough.
we need huge, huge policy changes, way bigger than any of those actions.
so what’s the point?
the point is living in accordance with our values. the point is that even if it doesn’t make a difference, it’s still the right thing to do. and hopefully the amount we care will spread to others. which still won’t be nearly enough. but at least we’re trying.
idk just my two cents as a long-time “environmentalist wacko,” as my family liked to say when I was a kid. it’s really encouraging to see so much concern over the environmental impacts of AI, and I urge you to do *even more* than not use AI. let this radicalize you into lowering your carbon footprint in other ways. I’ll be figuring out what more I can do, too.

@taichea's persona 5 drawing challenge day 5: character that got done dirty I'm back !!! i took so long ( 5 months...) that i got diagnosed with autism anyways Ann redesign for obvious reasons (CW ahead) (im also not that familiar with character design)
i actually don't hate the concept of sa victims reclaiming their sexuality its just that she's 16 i think she's got better more age appropriate fish to fry
I also really liked the supposed interpretation of their phantom thief outfits being reclamation of labels ( ryuji's outfit is a delinquent, haru is a traitor, ann being labelled as a "temptress"), ; i wanted to keep the original meaning but i also think its possible to depict sa without sexualizing the subject / character
so yeah i wanted her to have a design where all the gameplay still makes sense (Okumura's shadow shaming her, Ann charming the shadows in battle) but without it being inherently sexual to the audience
someone should write a fanfiction where yusuke travels back in time to the renaissance period and starts some sort of crazy beef with michelangelo or something, ultimately changing the course of art history and then the phantom thieves find out and they're not even like mad or anything they're like "haha yeah he would do that" and then have to travel back in time to fix his mess
ryuji's confused as his first thought is michelangelo the ninja turtle not michelangelo the renaissance painter

Day 3 of @taichea's persona 5 drawing challenge: Character you'd be besties with irl ok i think this one needs an explanation... I have an easier time talking to menacing/offputting middle aged adults instead of people my age (???) (I'm still in the process of getting tested for autism so that might tie in kind of sort of maybe) I also considered drawing takemi but I don't think she would wanna be friends with me unfortunately.
Ren had a cat doll when he was young, he always held it as a kid. He still has it but mainly kept it hidden, it's worn down and even missing an eye. Thing is that doll holds a near strinking resemblance to Morgana.

I'm sorry this ended up being the same character, but I just really like Yusuke's metaverse outfit, I wasn't able to include it in the drawing but his tail is so adorable- I like how it's actually clipped on and wrapped in its stripes instead of just sprouting out of him (?) and it really does compliment Goemon's design
your art is so warm and comforting and I was ecstatic to see you made a prompt list, I've been really art blocked (even while drawing this) but I think a prompt list for Persona 5 has made me wanna draw again
