I finally completed a ficš«Ŗ... kind of.
This was part of the 5+1 things fic I mentioned a while back, where the idea was something like āfive times Alhaitham held/hugged Kaveh tight and one time Kaveh held Alhaitham tightā.
I may turn it into a series instead because I gave up on making it a 5+1 but still have the second and thirdĀ āchaptersā pretty much done. I wrote them before this one and have been holding them hostage for over a year(I started in December 2024šŖ). Theyāre related enough but could still be read as standalones. And maybe someday Iāll decide if I want to write one or more of the other three āthingsā.
But anyway, I hope you enjoy my autistic Alhaitham and queerplatonic haikavetham :) It may not be amazing as I hadnāt written in a few years(and neither am I an excellent writer), but Iām just glad to finally be done with it. For some reason I just could not get the words out of my head, so I was incredibly slow at writing this part specifically.

I absolutely love Adam's Seagull Orchestra version of Sailboats. While the "newer"(it's been over a decade) Sky Sailing version is beautiful too, the quality of the former has a certain charm. It really feels like you're sleeping on a boat, floating in a sea of clouds on a cool evening.
