"Everwinter Without Mercy" Version 7.0 Update Details

Below are the details of the Version 7.0 update "Everwinter Without Mercy" and the update compensation.

Please log in and claim your compensation before 2026/08/15 06:00 (UTC+8).

PC: Close the game, open the Genshin Impact Launcher, and click Update.

I. New Areas

New Region Now Available: Snezhnaya

◇ New Areas: Version 7.0 introduces the following new areas, "Volkodlak Tundra," "White Birch Snowgrave," "Everfrozen Earth," "Flamefeather Valley," and "Fellfrost Peak" in the Snezhnaya region.

※ Completing Archon Quest Prologue: Act III "Song of the Dragon and Freedom" will automatically unlock a Teleport Waypoint southwest of the Volkodlak Tundra in Snezhnaya (If you have already completed this Archon Quest, the Teleport Waypoint will be unlocked after the update). You can use this Teleport Waypoint to head over to Snezhnaya. You'll also receive the Primogem reward for this Teleport Waypoint when it unlocks automatically.

▌New System in Snezhnaya

◇ "Meeting Points"

Cryo Sigils obtained while adventuring in the frozen expanse of Snezhnaya can be used to construct the following Meeting Points with your companions at various locations after certain other conditions have also been met: "Tidesong Cavern," "Huntsman's Cabin," and "The Korolevskiy Theater." Then, keep raising Meeting Point Levels to earn valuable supplies.

◆ "Huntsman's Cabin" Unlock Criteria:

• Progress through "Gunfire in the Silent Lands" in the Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act I "Everwinter Without Mercy" to unlock.

◆ "Tidesong Cavern" & "The Korolevskiy Theater" Unlock Criteria:

• Progress through "Silence Alone is Disfavored" in the Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act I "Everwinter Without Mercy" to unlock.

Expeditions, Daily Commissions, and other new content will also be added in Snezhnaya.

◇ Snezhnaya Daily Commissions Unlock Criteria:

• Progress through "Great Deeds on the Tundra" in the Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act I "Everwinter Without Mercy" to unlock.

Adds the Snezhnaya Fishing Association, where Travelers can exchange for new items here.

In addition, there will be new Fishing Points and "Radiant Spincrystals" in Snezhnaya.

II. New Characters

"Swirling Snow" Odette (Cryo) (5-Star)

◇ Stellar Linchpin: Cryo

◇ Weapon: Sword

◇ A famed ballerina of Snezhnaya, she blossoms against the frozen landscape with a beauty as sharp as frost.

◆ Odette is a support character who enables the party to trigger Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl reactions. She can continuously deal Stellar Glimmer DMG (Stellar-Conduct/Stellar Swirl) from off-field, provide consistent Cryo application, and increase the party's Stellar Glimmer DMG.

Traveler (Cryo) (5-Star)

◆ After resonating with Cryo, the Traveler enables the party to trigger Stellar Glimmer (Stellar-Conduct/Stellar Swirl). They can deal damage from off-field and in quick-swap rotations, and can also serve as an on-field DPS while in the "Radiance: Stellar-Conduct" state.

"Swift-Striding Hound" Alyosha (Electro) (4-Star)

◇ Vision: Electro

◇ Weapon: Polearm

◇ A "professional hunter" mastering the Snezhnayan snowfields. Beneath his calm demeanor, a fiercely distinct "ideal" seems to burn.

◆ Alyosha is a support character who heals party members while continuously dealing Electro DMG.

III. New Equipment

1. Event-Exclusive Weapon

Whitelake Frostfeather (5-Star Sword)

Whitelake Frostfeather (Sword) greatly boosts ATK and Stellar Glimmer CRIT DMG, while also restoring Elemental Energy.

◆ The event-exclusive 5-star weapon Whitelake Frostfeather (Sword) can be obtained from the Event Wish. Please refer to the relevant official Event Notices for specific acquisition details.

2. Special Weapon

Exaiphanes Blade (5-Star Sword)

Exaiphanes Blade (Sword) greatly boosts the Traveler's ATK and restores Elemental Energy upon hitting an opponent.

◆ Exaiphanes Blade (Sword) can be obtained by progressing through "Great Deeds on the Tundra" in Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act I "Everwinter Without Mercy."

◆ You can enhance your Exaiphanes Blade after using Cryo to awaken and connect to the Statues of The Seven in Snezhnaya.

3. Forgeable Weapons

New Forgeable Weapons (4-Star)

Emberwell (Sword): Triggering an Elemental Reaction increases ATK, and triggering a Stellar Glimmer Reaction increases Stellar Glimmer DMG.

Blade of Atonement (Claymore): Triggering an Elemental Reaction increases Elemental Mastery, and triggering a Stellar Glimmer Reaction increases ATK.

Song of the Vigil (Polearm): Triggering an Elemental Reaction restores Elemental Energy, and triggering a Stellar Glimmer Reaction increases ATK.

Echoes of the Heart (Catalyst): Triggering an Elemental Reaction increases Elemental Mastery, and triggering a Stellar Glimmer Reaction increases Stellar Glimmer DMG.

Covenant of Frost and Snow (Bow): Increases Elemental Mastery when the equipping character uses an Elemental Skill.

◆ You can exchange for Weapon Forging Blueprints from Kuzmichev in Snezhnograd of Snezhnaya by consuming certain amounts and types of materials.

4. Battle Pass Weapons

New Battle Pass Weapons (4-Star)

Heretic's Molten Blade (Sword): Grants an ATK bonus after the equipping character uses an Elemental Skill. The bonus increases based on the distance they travel.

Forged by the Golden Melody (Claymore): Successively grants bonuses to ATK, Elemental Mastery, and Stellar Glimmer DMG.

Frostbreath (Polearm): grants an ATK bonus when the equipping character triggers a Cryo- or Hydro-related reaction, while also restoring Elemental Energy to party members.

Clash of Kings (Catalyst): Increases ATK and Elemental Mastery when the equipping character uses an Elemental Skill.

Jade Vista (Bow): Grants either an Elemental Mastery or ATK bonus depending on whether other party members share the equipping character's Elemental Type.

◆ 5 new weapons will be added to the BP Bounty. After unlocking the Gnostic Hymn and reaching Level 30, Travelers can select 1 weapon from a total of 15 as a reward.

5. New Artifact Sets

Scarlet Proof (4-Star and 5-Star)

◇ 2-Piece Set: ATK +18%.

◇ 4-Piece Set: Increases the equipping character's CRIT Rate by 16%, and their Stellar Swirl reaction dealt by 40%, for 10s after they trigger a Stellar Swirl reaction.

Heart of the Furnace (4-Star and 5-Star)

◇ 2-Piece Set: ATK +18%.

◇ 4-Piece Set: Increases the equipping character's ATK by 12% for 12s when they trigger a Stellar Glimmer reaction or deal Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG. Also increases Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG dealt by all nearby party members by 50%. The above effects can trigger even when the equipping character is not on the field, and the DMG bonus from multiple Artifact Sets with the same name does not stack.

How to Obtain: Challenge the new Domain of Blessing in Everfrozen Earth, Snezhnaya, "Inverted Glacier."

IV. New Main Story

1. New Archon Quest

Chapter VII: Act I - Everwinter Without Mercy

• Complete the Archon Quest "Prologue: Act III - Song of the Dragon and Freedom"

• The "Focused Experience Mode" function is available for this quest.

Chapter VII: Act II - Wraith's Nocturne

• Adventure Rank 18 or above

• Complete Chapter VII: Act I - "Everwinter Without Mercy"

• The "Focused Experience Mode" function is available for this quest.

※ Travelers who meet the unlock requirements can use the automatically unlocked Teleport Waypoint to reach Snezhnaya and begin Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act I "Everwinter Without Mercy" even if they have not completed the preceding Archon Quests, such as "Song of the Welkin Moon: Act X."

2. New World Quests

V. Elemental Reaction

New Stellar Glimmer Reaction: Stellar Swirl

Under certain conditions, Anemo and Cryo can trigger Stellar Swirl, dealing one instance of Anemo DMG to the target and creating a Stellar Vortex. Only one Stellar Vortex can exist within the same area at a time.

A Stellar Vortex detonates after a short delay, dealing AoE Cryo DMG. Triggering Stellar Swirl nearby a certain number of times increases the vortex's level, expanding its blast radius and increasing its DMG. Triggering additional Stellar Swirl reactions nearby can also cause the vortex to detonate early. The aforementioned DMG can trigger CRIT Hits.

When the Stellar Vortex explodes, it will also grant nearby characters the ability to jump higher once, for a short time.

Additionally, triggering Stellar Swirl grants certain nearby characters the "Radiance: Stellar Swirl" effect, enhancing some of their Talents and skill effects.

Certain characters can also utilize their Talents to deal Stellar Swirl DMG to enemies. This DMG can trigger CRIT Hits.

VI. New Enemies

Immortal Construct

◇ A nigh-immortal life form created through bio-alchemy.

The Immortal Construct burns its life to enter the "Lifeflare" state, in which it gains several HP shields at one time. Any DMG dealt by it while in this state will restore its HP. When the number of HP-restoring shields goes below a certain number or after Lifeflare lasts for a set time, the Immortal Construct will attempt to unleash "Scorching Radiance." To stop it, you must break all of its HP shields.

The Immortal Construct will be unable to recover any HP when affected by Stellar Glimmer reactions, no matter what it does...

Located in Everfrozen Earth

Chimeric Winged Lion

◇ A product of bio-alchemy, and one of the flawed artificial monsters cast aside in pursuit of a certain grand ambition.

The Chimeric Winged Lion will oscillate between two enhanced states: "Thundercall" and "Galeforce." When it is in the Thundercall state, it will become weakened when its Elemental Ward is broken. Additionally, any attempts by it to spread its thunder blades can be disrupted by the Stellar Glimmer reaction. When it is in the Galeforce state, it will attempt to absorb any Anemo Orbs that are on the field to charge its attack. At this time, destroying the orbs or using the Stellar Glimmer reaction can stop its charging and weaken it.

Wildwood Leshy

Rugged Elder Leshy, Juvenile Tree Segment

◇ A species of Snezhnayan fae, these tree spirits inhabit the forests and wilds. Certain aspects of their behavior can be disrupted by the Stellar Glimmer Reaction.

Volkodlak Brute

Voywolf Hunter, Fanged Zealot, Leomastiff Guard, Channel Contact, Long-Eared Striker, Volkodlak Raider, Volkodlak Sharpshooter, Volkodlak Basher, Volkodlak Lobber

◇ A species of Snezhnayan fae, the Volkodlak comprise numerous distinct clans. Certain aspects of their behavior can be disrupted by the Stellar Glimmer Reaction.

Aberrant Chimeric Monsters

Chimeric Horned Bear, Chimeric Burrowbeast, Chimeric Armored Beast, Chimeric Winged Elephant

◇ A product of bio-alchemy that was once widespread across the frozen lands, an aberrant chimeric monster. Certain aspects of their behavior can be disrupted by the Stellar Glimmer Reaction.

Other Fae

Glacial Warden, Glaciomancer

◇ A species of Snezhnayan fae, Snegoviks live for love amid the snow and ice. While in certain states, they become susceptible to disruption from the Stellar Glimmer Reaction.

Winged Halberd-Knight, Winged Soarer Knight

◇ A species of Snezhnayan fae, these winged Vila can fly. Certain aspects of their behavior can be disrupted by the Stellar Glimmer Reaction.

VII. New Domains

Domain of Forgery: Scars of Cursed Obsession

◇ Challenge the Domain to obtain Weapon Ascension Materials.

◇ Unlock Criteria (satisfy any one of the criteria below to unlock):

• Reach Adventure Rank 10 or above

• Complete "Knights of Favonius" in Archon Quest Prologue: Act I "The Outlander Who Caught the Wind"

VIII. System Update

1. New Items

Eye of Graeae

◇ A strange mechanism you encountered in an abandoned station in Snezhnaya. It often appears in the form of a monocle.

The Eye of Graeae provides a variety of convenient functions. Travelers can use it to call a train and travel between cities, craft items or claim Daily Commission rewards while aboard, and create various Prime Ice Constructs to assist with exploration and adventuring.

◆ Unlock Criteria

• Unlocks as you progress through Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act I "Everwinter Without Mercy."

2. New Gameplay

Third-Person Shooter Combat Gameplay

Use a variety of firearms and equipment to defeat opponents through Elemental Reactions in the Shadow Realm.

As you progress through your adventure and unlock new gameplay, you will gain access to a variety of firearms and equipment.

◆ Unlock Criteria

• This combat gameplay mode becomes available as you progress through Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act I "Everwinter Without Mercy."

▌ After unlocking the Third-Person Shooter Combat Gameplay, Travelers can take part in the associated "Special Recruitment Project: Cycle Training" to obtain rewards.

◇ Each week, you can accept new Training Quests from Yarovaya, in which you are tasked with entering and cleaning up specific Shadow Realms. Complete a certain number of these weekly quests to obtain various rewards.

◆ Unlock Criteria

• Progress through Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act II "Wraith's Nocturne" to unlock the prerequisite quest. Complete that quest to gain access to this feature.

▌ At the shooting range onboard the train, you can undertake special challenges at the simulated Shadow Realm "Edge of Survival." This is where you can push your enemy-clearing skills to the limit and sharpen your proficiency with firearms.

More "Edge of Survival" stages will be added in future versions.

Each "Edge of Survival" challenge stage has its own Frontrunners' Edge section with "All Records" and "Friends' Records" tabs, allowing Travelers to view the challenge results of other Travelers and their friends.

*The "All Records" tab becomes available on August 17 once data compilation is complete.

Prime Ice Construct

Travelers can use the Eye of Graeae to create a variety of Prime Ice Constructs throughout the open world.

Prime Ice Constructs can aid in exploration in the open world and allow Travelers to leave behind messages and materials to assist those in other worlds.

While exploring Snezhnaya, Travelers may come across Prime Ice Constructs created by other Travelers. These constructs can help make exploration easier.

Additionally, Travelers can also give a Like to any Prime Ice Constructs they find helpful, while their own constructs may likewise receive Likes when they assist Travelers in other worlds.

◆ Unlock Criteria

• Progress through Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act I "Everwinter Without Mercy" and complete "Gunfire in the Silent Lands" to unlock this feature.

3. New System

Snezhnaya Adventure Journal

◇ The Snezhnaya Adventure Journal records your progress through adventures in Snezhnaya, along with content yet to be explored and rewards waiting to be claimed. You can use it as a one-stop overview of what remains to be explored in Snezhnaya and to track the relevant quests.

◆ Unlock Criteria

• Progress through Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act I "Everwinter Without Mercy" and complete "Gunfire in the Silent Lands" to unlock this feature.

4. Gameplay Update

Stellar-Conduct: "Starlight Prism" — Open-World Interaction Update

In certain places in Snezhnaya, a Starlight Prism will also generate a Prism Mirage that lasts for a short time at the same location when it vanishes. Approach the mirage to activate the Starlight Prism again, at which point it will remain on the field permanently.

Prisms activated by such interactions have a chance to appear in other Travelers' worlds. Similarly, Prisms from other Travelers' worlds may also appear in your world.

Within the Polestar Field created by a Starlight Prism, the Eye of Graeae's energy will not deplete and will remain at or above 30%. Prime Ice Constructs inside a Polestar Field will gain various wondrous buffs.

IX. Miliastra Wonderland

Miliastra Wonderland Update

◆ Cosmetic Sets

The "Phantasmagoric Discourse" Event Ode brings 4 new sets: "Whimsical Spectacle," "Azure Mountainshade," "Sleuth's Verdict," and "Twilight Phantom Thief."

"Chronicles of the Realms"/"Epic of the Realms" features 3 new sets: "Letter Crane Courier," "Scary Cat," and "Precision Strike."

Available for a limited time only from the Miliastra Shop: 3 new sets. They are "Cloudbound Journey/Cloudbound Flight," "Fun Under Open Skies," and "Warrior of the Winning Hand."

"Encounter Echoes" Standard Ode: 1 new Set Catalog, "Crowned by the Breeze," is available.

Take part in the "Raiment Collection: Gentle Warmth" event to obtain the new "Amber Nectar" set.

After the version update, the set "Dreamy Summer Leisure" that was obtainable through an earlier limited-time event will be available for a limited time at the Miliastra Shop.

◆ Lobby

With the new version update, the Public Lobby will be changed to a new theme: "Miracle Theater: Dreamcraft."

Travelers can purchase the new Private Lobby "Miracle Theater: Light and Shadow Spectacle" through the Miliastra Pass.

◆ Wonderlands

Adds the "Wonderland Rising Stars" section, which showcases the latest creations and updates from Craftspeople.

Adds the "Wonderland Topic" section, featuring regularly updated selections of Wonderland stages curated around specific themes.

Adds replies to stage comments. Comments now show how long the commenter had played the stage when posting, as well as whether the stage was in Early Access at the time. The stage details page now displays the stage's recommendation rate over the past 30 days, calculated from comments posted during that period.

The new version also adds additional cosmetic components, expressions, and special effects.

For updates regarding the "Miliastra Wonderland" stage editor and Miliastra Sandbox, Travelers can check "My Miliastra Wonderland" > "Notices."

X. Genius Invokation TCG

Genius Invokation TCG Gameplay Update

New Character Card: Durin, Jahoda, and their corresponding Talent cards. Corresponding invitation duel and guest challenges have been added to the Player List.

New Character Card: Hydro Hypostasis and the corresponding Talent card. The Tavern Challenge has also been added.

New Action Cards "Witch's Homework," "Feasting in a Shared Toast," "Temporal Wind's Eulogy," "Phantasmal Nocturne," "Genesis of Starsigns," and "Sparkborne Magic" have been added, which can be purchased from Prince at The Cat's Tail.

New Card Back "Snezhnaya" can be purchased from Prince at The Cat's Tail after reaching the corresponding Player Level.

The Forge Realm's Temper is once again available. The theme of this edition is "The Forge Realm's Temper: Game of Wits":

(1) During The Forge Realm's Temper: Game of Wits, some stages will have special victory and defeat conditions or unique Special Rules. Adeptly adapt your tactics to complete the challenge and avoid the conditions for defeat!

(2) Within The Forge Realm's Temper: Game of Wits event stages, there will also be special victory or defeat rules that can easily exert influence on the tempo of the match. Fully utilizing these special rules will contribute greatly to your success.

XI. Imaginarium Theater

Update Scheduled for September 1

After the Version 7.0 update, a new season of Imaginarium Theater will be available on September 1, 2026.

Required Elemental Types: Hydro, Electro, and Dendro

Opening Characters: Columbina, Xingqiu, Cyno, Kuki Shinobu, Lauma, and Kaveh

When Imaginarium Theater is open, the corresponding Opening Characters will obtain Fantastical Blessings.

Special Guest Stars: Odette, Sandrone, Sucrose, and Nicole

After the new season of Imaginarium Theater begins, the characters Flins, Columbina, Kirara, and Illuga will each gain a new "Thespian Trick" that can be exchanged from the NPC Wolfy.

Envisaged Echoes Update

After the Version 7.0 update, new challenge stages and Echo cosmetics for Tartaglia and Xiao will be added.

XII. Spiral Abyss

Update Scheduled for August 16

◇ After the Version 7.0 update, Phase 1 of the Spiral Abyss will be updated on August 16.

◆ Floor 9 Ley Line Disorder changed to:

Characters' Stellar Swirl DMG increased by 50%.

◆ Floor 10 Ley Line Disorder changed to:

Characters' Stellar-Conduct DMG increased by 50%.

◆ Floor 11 Ley Line Disorder changed to:

All party members receive a 60% Cryo DMG Bonus.

All party members gain a 60% Pyro DMG Bonus.

◆ Floor 12 Ley Line Disorders changed to:

First Half: Characters' Superconduct DMG increased by 200% and Stellar-Conduct DMG increased by 75%.

Second Half: Characters' Normal Attack Pyro DMG increased by 75%.

◆ Updated the monster lineup on Floors 9, 10, 11, and 12 of the Spiral Abyss.

◆ Blessing of the Abyssal Moon:

Luster-Piercing Moon

While the active character is inside a Polestar Field, when they deal DMG to opponents, their attacks will unleash a shockwave at the opponent's position that deals True DMG. This can trigger once every 4s.

◇ Starting from this edition of Spiral Abyss, the "Disenchantment in Deep Shadow" and "Celestial Gift" Artifact set rewards in Domain Reliquary: Tier I and Domain Reliquary: Tier II obtained from the Ley Lines on Floors 9–12 will be replaced with the "Scarlet Proof" and the "Heart of the Furnace" sets.

◇ After the Version 7.0 update, Phase 2 of the Spiral Abyss will be updated on September 16.

◆ Floor 11 Ley Line Disorder changed to:

All party members gain a 60% Anemo DMG Bonus.

All party members gain a 60% Electro DMG Bonus.

◆ Floor 12 Ley Line Disorders changed to:

First Half: Characters' Swirl DMG increased by 200% and Stellar Swirl DMG increased by 75%.

Second Half: Characters' Electro-Charged DMG increased by 200% and Lunar-Charged DMG increased by 75%.

◆ Updated the monster lineup on Floors 11 – 12 of the Spiral Abyss.

◆ Blessing of the Abyssal Moon:

Cascading Moon

When a character deals Swirl or Stellar Swirl DMG to an opponent, a shockwave will be unleashed at the opponent's position, dealing True DMG. This effect can be triggered once every 4s.

XIII. Other Update Details

1. New Recipe:

1. Optimizes how attempts are counted for the related "Valiant Chronicles" challenge objective to: "Before the Prism Slime first gathers light and swells, make sure it attempts to absorb energy no more than 2 times," so that the count more accurately reflects the enemy's skill actions.

● Exploration

1. Adjusts how Multi-Layered Maps are displayed on the "Map" screen to prevent the layouts of unexplored areas from being revealed prematurely and affecting the gameplay experience: A Multi-Layered Map and its corresponding button now appear only after the Traveler has reached or unlocked the relevant area (before this adjustment, Multi-Layered Maps were always visible). If the corresponding area contains a tracked point, including a tracked Teleport Waypoint, the Multi-Layered Map and its button remain visible.

2. 2. Adjusts the Radiant Hues enhancement effect "Radiant Hues: Swift Shadow" for the Elemental Skill of the Character Card "Wayward Hermetic Spiritspeaker." Its effect is adjusted to: "When you play Radiant Hues: Grant a random highest-cost card in your Hand Cost Reduction equal to the number of stacks of this status."

3. Adjusts the Elemental Skill effect of the Character Card "Wayward Hermetic Spiritspeaker": Effect changed to "Deal 1 Cryo DMG, and place 1 Radiant Hues third from the top of your deck.
